Once the cone is moving, the game might think the grenade is in flight due to the speed after punching it. Once the speed of the cone slows down enough, the timer starts again to detonate the grenade. Again, this is just a guess.
Experimenting. You have to have the mentality of hey what can I do more or what can I do to break the game or I’m not playing the way it was intended. So on so. Than you have to do lot of trying to get that one perfect moment. It is worth it in the end. You can use mods but that might take your personal satisfaction cause breaking the game or the norm is part of the fun.
If 343 keeps it up with these updates halo infinite could possibly have these physics and make one of the greatest comebacks in todays gaming. With the recent update halo infinites population is rising and its pretty fun
I was 17 when halo 3 released, in 5 and half years il be 40, what happened were did time go, sat in my bedroom at my mothers house not a care in the world smashing halo 3 all night then going to work with no sleep times were different, with age and family life is now my priority and I know it will never be the same but I do miss shitting on scrubs in multiplayer 😂

16 years and the lighting is still incredible. If only the textures aged just as well.
Lighting is the main reason i play halo 3 without feeling iffy but cant play halo 2 original at all
