*Got lots of folks saying, it just like Warframe. I have played very little of Warframe. Perhaps at some point, we'll give that game a full go too.*
Warframe ain't bad mate, you should definitely give it a shot. The monetization is much more acceptable than this bs.
As someone with a lot of hours in warframe I would recommend you do a bit of research into the game due to the intro to the game is a wee bit not linear in its approach to new players
TFD = Warframe > Destiny
@@eyeONE_Officialstop the 🧢 I literally dropped $20 on Dante. The primes are almost 50-60 at launch. Granted warframe does do deals a lot. But let’s no pretend warframe micros were any better at the start. I will admit the ultimate costs on here are crazy and the color palette issue 100% but the rest feels just like warframe. Especially if they add trading.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !!!! IT WOULD MEAN THE WORLD To watch you play warframes full story!! i woulk seriously cry tears of joy to have an epic creator like you playing warframe!!!
The thing the killed Anthem was that the devs literally had no clue how to actually run a looter shooter game. When the game released, people were spamming a certain dungeon for loot, and the devs decided to patch it AND BAN EVERYONE WHO FARMED THAT DUNGEON. It was the most insane thing I ever seen
They banned people for farming in a game that revolved around farming for good loot? Holy shit, I'm glad I stayed away from Anthem.
True, they didn't. Nobody even stayed around once the game released because everyone found out the trailer was a lie and one that even the dev team didn't even know of till it was shown to the public.
@Triforcebro lol it was still pretty dam popular and it died as soon as they removed the road map to what was coming next and they didn't just ban people for farming they banned people that were abusing glitches lol
To be fair I think it was more of an EA thing than the Devs. I've hear that management didn't want to hear the words Destiny/Division at all in meetings. I mean, what the hell?!?
The thing that killed the game was that in year 6 out of 7 of development, most of the gameplay and story was thrown out the window so that everything could be shifted around the iron man fantasy. You were never meant to fly, you were never meant to be the apex predator in this place. You were supposed to be a bug. With all these weapons, these suits, these powers, you were supposed to be a BUG compared to the threats and environments. It was supposed to be a story of survival against an overwhelmingly hostile world and everything they developed around that was dropped to turn it into an Iron Man looter shooter within a year. The E3 premier from the year before release was legitimately slapped together last second and was not genuine, ready-to-go functions like it was painted to be.
Whoever said "naw, make em buy the paint" is a true villain 😭
Yeah the monetization in this game is off the charts the bundles being some of the biggest offenders at 30 to 50 a piece. I enjoy the game but wont be spending money on it anytime soon due to the insane pricing they have.
and then rebuy it for every item, and they can only use it if they also buy a skin
I didnt even know you could buy paint... I got alot for free
Not defending this game’s hideous monetization model…but Warframe also makes you buy paint. Also Destiny has tons of shaders in the Eververse shop. This isn’t a new phenomenon.

You can lower the gun sounds by switching to the "Midnight Mode" sound preset in settings. it drastically lowers the gun sounds while leaving basically everything else intact.
Thanks man
Good to know.

Do I gotta pay for that?
I literally started playing with midnight mode from the beginning. Noticed that , thought I was tripping.
Its a Nexxon game.... Monetization and sub par customer service are core values
I have 150 hr of playing it by now, the Monetization is not good, but the customer service is fantastic so far, almost everything that players were upset about were fixed in a couple of days.
A new update dropped 2 hours ago that increased the amount of loot and fixed an annoying game mechanic, and I'm positive that they will change the color Monetization as well.
The fact that it launched with minimum issues and keeps improving is a good sign.
One more thing I can guarantee you that war frame has evolved dramatically since the last time you’ve played it the quality of life over there is excellent
the darrell edit was so good it got me questioning my memory
1000% same.
That had me paused and I laughed.
Lmao. i was like "yeah! i remember darrell... hol' up?!"
The game needs to redo it's entire monetization system. It's main competitor, Warframe, has the exact same item as the Energy Activactor, the Orokin Reactor/Catalyst. Both increase the mod(ule) capacity of the character or weapon. The Energy Activator is worth 1200 caliber or around $25USD, a goddamn Orokin Catalyst/Reactor is 20 platinum... or like $1.67USD... technically even free if you just trade in the game (which is incredibly easy). As a F2P game, yes, it can monetize however it wants, but if it truly wants to live and not be a cash grab, then it has to change this and the other prevalent issues that Cross mentions.
Sad part is, and I say this as a huge Warframe stan, it's probably going to make more money than Warframe.
Even though the monetization is worse than warframe's its lightyears better than destiny's
Hell, it’s a free part of the game if you play longer than 30 minutes.
@@verdigo1initially, I don’t imagine this game lasting nearly as long as warframe has or will continue to honestly
Nah you underestimate just how crazy warframe is doing update wise@verdigo1
Well it has lot of common point with warframe:
-you need to buy custom colors, but once unlock in warframe you can use it unlimited
-card in weapons and descendant is same thing as warframe
-the module is similar to arcane enhancement of warframe
-custom skin can also be purchase in warframe.
-like warframe mastery rank is important to progress in gearing and progressing in the game
-in warframe there are catalysor that double the point for mods on warframe and weapons. (Didn't check if the same thing exist on descendant)
-crafting is the same as warframe:launch the crafting go play. Warframe is like that and same as warframe, weapons need to be leveled.
People that want to rush the game or try to pay to rush will wasted there money because this game seem to went you to play first and not rush craft everything. They want you to be in a loop or playing, upgrading your stuff, do harder stuff, increasing mastery, unlocking new descendant to increase mastery. Same as warframe. You must no neglect to increase affinity on all weapons like warframe.
Like aztecross said, it has very sexy female descendant and it will do retention and cash flow because of sexy caracter like lost ark. Some people will throw cash at super sexy skin. It's easy cash grabber.
So overall this game is not like destiny. If you give a go at warframe you will see ressemblance with first descendant by a lot !
Bro i have like 20 color palette in warframe and the only one i bought was the saturated classic (idk the name in english) every other colors i won for free from events and stuff and i play warframe since 2017 and i never spent real money and i have a really good drip on my frames only from trading mods and prime stuff
The paints are definitely not like Warframe. Once you use it on a skin, you have to buy it again for another skin. Used that red on a head skin? Buy another copy of it to use on your armor skin. Typed out all that and was wrong off the jump.
I love all these people that have never played WF. When I hear them complain about research times it's like, "First time?" Been that way for me in WF since 2014.
you have not played wf
I’ve been maining Bunny thru the betas so you better believe I bought that ultimate skin 😂
Did you guys notice he already had half of the materials for the ultimate bunny lol
I mean he's rank 11. He's definitely been playing for a good chunk. That's not an easy rank to reach within like a casual 2 hour session lol.
Yeah he’s obviously just got those materials whilst playing
The only thing that's time consuming is getting the last piece of every part. The mats are gained passively.
@@Guile_The_Exilenot hard if you do the defence mission over and over , I am MR 15 from doing that mission and running main quest.
@@Guile_The_Exile It doesn't take long to get mastery rank. I'm rank 10 at only 20 hours played, it's just an xp farm, you don't even have to pass mastery tests like you do in Warframe.
Imagine if Destiny had the same fanservice as The First Descendant.

Aztecross finds out about the Warframe Paradox.
Speaking of Grinding, The prestige skin for bunny from tier 1 - 2 literally requires bunny to get 135,000 skill kills and you have to wear both armor pieces because the process only counts, if you have the skin on (helmet and armor have different progress so if you only have helmet on, the progress will only count for the helmet)

@@redbuno through the trading system Warframe is overall better, but it's not like it's by a huge margin. It's just because in Warframe if you grind a ton you can buy stuff through plat and trading. The problem is without that trading system the game is nearly unplayable.
@lordgrub12345 You, like many others seem to have the misunderstanding that pay to win only refers to player vs player it doesn't. Words mean things. Paying to win refers to paying to win in player vs environment as well. You beat a boss? You won, you beat a boss easily by paying for power? You won the encounter vs the boss and you won out over players who didn't pay, allowing you to get farther than them easier.

To put things into perspective :
To add more mod capacity to your frame on Warframe, it costs 20 Platinum (the premium currency) OR you can VERY EASILY craft one using a very small amount of resources, though it will set you back 24hours crafting them. HOWEVER, they have a FREE Battle Pass that will also give you FREE currency to also just buy the Reactors/Catalysts, so you can easily stack them up as a new player too.
In TFD, to add more mod capacity to your character will set you back $25, or you can spend around 20+ hours (bear in mind it takes almost close to this to craft literally the same item in WF) to find the materials, and then spend a further few hours to craft one.
I looked into its Battle Pass, I did not see anything of the sort that would give you any upgrades.
Fun game, yes. Does it respect your time? No. It is depending on people to buy.
As someone who has played WF for YEARS, I can bear with grindy games if my time is respected. But I can't defend the games monetization. WF's is not perfect, but its not absurd either. Our trading system essentially makes everything BUT cosmetics free. And even then, the cosmetics can be free too because we can trade the PREMIUM currency. I think Nexon stated they will add trading in the future, but I'm skeptical if they allow Caliber to be tradeable.
Also, Nexon created MapleStory. The very same company that had a lawsuit against them for LYING about the drop rates in that game.
I'm enjoying the game personally, ( though it can be a drag solo ), but I can not justify spending on it.
Maplestory was my first MMO back in 2004, and probably my all time favorite game. Nexon developers are truly master minds, they know how to make fun games. But yeah, cash shop alone in this game made me quit, I would've definitely spent on an ultimate bundle but fortunately I'm not a biased idiot. Goes without saying that they always create super high quality cash shop items, almost evil.
What are you doing for the capacity/catalyst increases to take 20+ hours.. ive made multiple and only have 30 hours played. the amount of people that spread misinformation is crazy
😅
@@imposter-San they take either a real life day or half a day to craft. You dont have to be playing to have things in your foundry craft
WF also makes their frames almost-entirely useless without a reactor make it almost necessary for every frame to have one.
I beat the normal mode without using a reactor in TFD on any Descendent. TFD gives you 50 points to use. I doubt you could beat Warframe with a starter frame without a reactor.
@kevins.3573 I mean you only need health and damage mods to beat the game, the normal star chart is relatively easy with very few mods. TFD is fun to play but it's god awful in monetization.
The crafting system is like warframe, you get use to it in warframe. A lot of people don't realize that you aren't crafting X and then Waiting for X so you can Use X.
Warframe is You use your newly crafted X, while you craft Y, and Farm for Z. Then you use Y while you craft Z and Farm for A and so on and so forth.
For players that have focused on one or two things to craft, or don't play a ton and have the materials to craft multiple things they actually want, it's exactly as you first said. Grind, and wait for your reward, then grind using that. People realize how it works, but it's still a massive disrespect of time.
i hate that people compare this game to warframe. yes it a lot of ways its like warframe. but warframe system is held together by one of the best free to play trade systems ever. meaning free to play players profit off whales. this game is just pure p2w.
@@otty4000 Yeah that's true, though I'd argue it's still a pretty scummy system with paying to skip crafting times. My main problem will always be crafting and the practices there.
@@otty4000 exactly

I started playing this today, and I honestly love the freedom in the combat. I be swinging around like spiderman and then landing with a powerful shockwave onto different enemies and everything. The grappling hook is fr one of the best things they have in the game. I usually do things solo, so if I ever decide to join other players as well, then I could also support them a bit easier. nah, as someone who plays warframe, who doesn't have perfect monetization, but certainly solid in comparison to most games, especially this one, the pricing in this game is waaaaay too much.
The paints in the beta was craftable, now you have to purchase, where warframe, you purchase pallets and you can use unlimited uses on everything from warframe, weapons, and even companions. The most egregious thing for me is how they do Catalyst/reactors in this game, essentially mod capacity booster. In warframe, it's hard to get, but doable; Either through nightwave for 75 battlepass credit (which battle pass in warframe is 100% free, no premium aspect to it at all), or get a blueprint through sortie or gift of lotus, or 20 platinum. Platinum is 75 for 5 bucks, so that's about 1ish dollars. But the kicker is you can earn that money through the game via other players, so you can honestly get a net positive in warframe if you spend little to nothing. Hell even if you spend money. While FD, it takes 1kish to buy out a mod cap booster for a character, which is basically 20 dollars down the drain, which is fucking insane. Like, back to warframe, prime access or other bundles, you get additional platinum to go with it that around the amound you paid for. Protea prime plat iirc gives like 3k plat, which is a decent cost at 140ish bucks, for protea, her access weapons, accessories (syndana, alt helmet and ephemera), glyph. I wouldn't say it's exactly worth the value, but the fact FD 'ultimates' cost between 50 to 100 bucks and give you barely anything in return of that pay out just shows a great level of greed (Character+ slots+ and a skin) that's it, as I remember, no premium currency as you needed that to even get the thing. The 100 one is the worst because it doesn't even give good stuff, boosters I guess, but warframe prime access gives you near 80 day boosters for buying them, while DF iirc give short lived booster compared to the price spent.
What annoys me, is the beta was good, it had everything I had hoped the game would be, but now we just have warframe but greedier and worse grind. Makes D2 eververse seem charitable in comparison.
I literally crafted like 6 different paints last night and today. Quit lying lmfaooo. You can grind and craft ANYTHING in the game, the store is there if your lazy. Which it would seem you are and this is NOT the game for you.
@@hamsterrwrld6767 No, you literally can't craft paints, it costs 25 premium currency. I even did research to double check. Either prove that shit, because I have yet to see a menu for it or anything of the sort. Secondly, you can MOSTLY do everything free with grinding, but it borrowed warframes schtick of having slots, meaning you have limited slots for descendants, weapons, reactors, and external components. Which as far as I've seen CANNOT be acquired free, and must be bought with currency. Not even the battle pass give any. The only thing I've seen that gives any slots is the mastery ranks and it gives a few for some not descendants. So it's not a 'pay if your lazy', that's definitely a required if you want to both get more descendants AND acquire more mastery.
The paints in Beta weren't a one time use either XD
@@hamsterrwrld6767 Why are you lying? You literally have to buy them or get the ones from the Battle Pass lmao And they're also a ONE TIME use.

I would say if you like PVE in looter shooters, the vibe is definitely here. But if you prefer PVP then D2 or any other shooter is for you. Don’t really like PVP in these types of games so it’s cool I can load into a patrol privately and grind to my heart’s content. I miss that in looter games. They just need to focus on stability, but it’s UE5 no one has truly mastered that engine yet it’s still new
Thanks you basically just made my decision. Imma stick to trials lol
So, I'm a Warframe veteran. Several hundred hours, went to TennoCon even a few times, etc. May not be the most hardcore fan, but it was my main game for a long time. I would say TFD is more on par with Warframe in it's first couple of years than something like Destiny, Anthem, etc. It's definitely apparent this was made by a dev team from another culture, used to a different market that engages with F2P differently, and does not have a whole lot of experience making a game like this for a global audience. Probably doesn't have a humongous budget, hence why the writing and localization is sub par, it doesn't look too different than default UE5 rendering (which still looks good, not a knock on it), and is more focused in certain areas than others.
Here's how I would describe the game: let's say Destiny 2 and Warframe are burger joints that you've been going to for years. You like the food, it's had its ups and downs, but it has been relatively okay. Then a new joint opens up, and you try it out. It's run from someone out of town who wanted to take a stab at running their own burger joint, and you decide to try it. The building looks fresh and new, but the inside and dining area looks a little sparse. The menu has some standard fare and some weird stuff you don't feel like trying. Half of the sandwiches are way too expensive at first glance. You order a standard burger combo and take a seat. The bench is hard and uncomfortable, the table a little rickety. Your food is similar to what you've gotten elsewhere, but it very clearly tastes different and has a couple of hints of something that you can appreciate. It's not the best burger, and overall you like the other joints better, but there's something about this place that makes you want to come back from time to time, if anything to shake things up.
That's what I consider to be the First Descendant. I think most people that are already deep in other games aren't going to find this better than those in any way. People suffering from burn out might stick with it for a bit, but maybe not make it their "main game." Some people might try to justify the cost, but most are going to find better value elsewhere. Warframe falls into a lot of the same monetization traps, but at least the costs are a lot more digestible than what Nexon is trying to pull. Nexon will print money for a bit, but the whales aren't going to be as plentiful as they should be to keep a F2P afloat with the across the board prices as they are.
If Nexon is unwilling for the game to be some niche game with 3k players in a few months, they need to wake up from their greed, and I understand how unlikely that is to happen. I got board of Warframe and stopped a couple years ago because the treadmill was just too much. However, playing TFD, I'm 50/50 on whether I'm liking the gameplay loop enough to like it solely for the gameplay itself, or if I want to just go back to Warframe, catch up on what I've missed, and stick with that.
Makes u appreciate destiny that much more I grinned for material to unlock a new descendant and didn't get 1 thing I needed
My only real issue with pricing is that you can't ever buy just the amount you need. They never let you buy exactly 5000 or whatever you need. They force you to buy a pack that gives you currency thats either always a little too short than what you want or you're left with extra that then makes you feel like it's a waste if you let it sit in your account.
Besides that the grind part is fine, that's the entire Warframe grind. Grind hours for mats then wait I think 12 hours for each part to finish then you use those parts to finally make the frame which takes 3 days.
Or expedite the time by paying platinum (premium currency) or buying the frame outright. The difference being that in Warframe you can also trade plat with other players allowing you to earn it in-game by trading and never spend a dime.
No game does
@@BrianMiddleton-bi3yc FFXIV would love a word with you.
@@LordAnorak or fortnite with their battlepasses and stuff, yeah they don't have an option with 1500 currency but that's why they have a starter pack and the fact the bp gives a ton of currency anyways...
Bungie laughs at your points in uneven silver sales.
To put things into context, nexon are responsible for maple story and all of it's controversy. The first descendent is taking the warframe route where it's pay to progress faster, however I do agree the paint system is a little silly.
As far as raid level content goes, the harder bosses have raid-like mechanics but I would like to see some raid-esque dungeons later in it's lifetime
I could see this doing something similar to Destiny year 1 2014, in the sense that the foundation is there, what really matters is the first expansion. If the first expansion adds something akin to a raid, another dungeon or 2, vastly improved mission design, solid descendants and ultimate weapons... it could end up pretty good. Just depends on how they support the game. They also need to chill on the monetization a little bit.
This is how i explained the campaign to a friend (we play destiny).
Imagine you’re loaded into the Trostland where Devrim is. And he tells you to do 3 public events followed by a lost sector.
You then go to the next area, Outskirts, and repeat that process, and repeat it for every area in the EDZ until you get to do a strike.
THEN you move onto Nessus and do the same.
Colossus fights break it up but feel like they are level checking you… assuming some max level isn’t nuking the boss.
i thought i'd appreciate high lv players steamrolling my collosus run. but nah, that just made me becoming clueless of my own build/progress' shortcomings. cuz of that I am now at mr 15 lv 64 fresh outta pyro. while mugs be running around at mr 10 with lv 100 gears.
the microtransactions are egregious but the division gunplay with destiny powers and warframe progression is a pretty fun mix of gameplay.
Warframe progression is dogsht.
It sounds straight up like Warframe if it really is the way he's describing it. The way ultimate descendants work is pretty much exactly like prime frames in Warframe.
Yeah it is
The devs said before they took inspiration from warframe progression
Warframe isn’t that crazy with pay to play compared to this
Nah you pay like 10% of the prices and there's a trading chat meaning that even though you never spent money on the game you can still earn the premium currency by just selling weapons in warframes you can't in this game also the bundles don't give you anything extra ?
A difference I noticed which could be good OR bad is that some skill modules are ultimate only. Ajax will only get a portable barrier if it is ultimate Ajax.
It's warframe except it's way more social. Sure Warframe has social hubs, but lets face it, no one ever interacts with each other unless it's trading.
the items required for the bunny ultimate parts are optional parts to CRAFT the parts for her, once u have all 4 of the main stuff you can research her, and atleast the ultimate only takes a day and a half, cuz primes in warframe take what? 72 hours? warframe nerds pls correct me if im wrong
Didn't destiny also do the consumable paint stuff too a couple years ago?
Longgg time ago but it got removed quickly
While there is monetization for days, I'm just glad you can just play it and gather what you need for what you want. There's no money gated content. It's a free game. Anything you buy does nothing but support the game for more stuff. Hopefully we'll see more content if enough people buy stuff and they don't just add more cosmetics only.
We already know a new descendant is out next month.

as a warframe veteran I can only say that it is fun. yes it is repetitive just like warframe so I have no problem with it. The crafting, I even find it better than in warframe because the wait time is much much shorter in TFD then in Warframe.
I hope it only gets better because I think it's really good so far.
Its shorter craft times because it takes double the time to get the item you need to drop. Especially if from a relic. Cause you have to get lucky to get the relic drop, then you have to get lucky again that when you open it, it drops what you need, and some drops are as low as 0.01%

If you're running an intel cpu 13th or 14th gen, you just have to lower frequency to 56x and undervolt it with XTU. I just needed to do that for compiling shaders. After that I can keep it overclocked, although I stayed undervolted at 57X 14900K
You ain’t missing much tbh.
The game gets really boring just after 4/5 hours
You could hear the disappointment as soon as the video started 😂

The cheek meat factor might be the only thing that keeps this game from dying.
I started with AJAX, after about 6 levels, I bought FREYNA love her spreading the toxic venom, I'm using the Thunder Cage sub-machine gun I can't die now
Imma be honest the ultimate descendant packages are pretty similar to the prime packages for warframe. While I think it is easier to get the prime frames through grinding and the market, in my opinion that aspect doesn’t kill the game for me.
I do agree that the paint system needs to change, it should not be you buy a color and it’s a one time use.
it's sorta in the middle? It's not as bad as some. when you buy a paint for an item that item can use that color in any of its slot, whenever you want forever... you only have to buy the dye you want ONCE for the outfit.......... it's a sorry state of the gaming industry that t his qualifies as 'middle of the pack' and not 'bottom of the barrel. It's not so bad that you wanna dye your outfit white, buy dye... then watch a slot machine asign you red instead............ but it's got nothing on Warframe's color palette system either.
Difference being you can trade in WF, essentially making their Primes free if you have the plat to give someone, which you can get via trading stuff others need.
How are we forgetting that destiny was the same way until like a year and a half before the last dlc
No it's not, in Warframe prime access comes with a massive amount of premium currency. In this game it costs premium currency
@@MagikarpMan you’re right I forgot about the platinum you get. In that case yeah the prime access is better value.
Something that isn't really talked about is performance on console. I've ran max graphics Warframe on my PS5 with relatively few issues, and it manages with high quality games like God of War and Baldur's Gate pretty well, but every time 5 or more enemies are on the screen in The First Descendant, my frames drop massively and most stuff renders at lower quality.
Hopefully the devs listen about the colors. Remember D2 had single use shaders on launch. Hopefully they really take feedback into mind.
- make colors unlimited use
- let me color change default skins
- add obtainable skins for F2P players in challenging content (if they haven’t already idk yet)
- add a collections tab to reacquire ultimate weapons obtained (yes, like Destiny) and make a craftable item to enhance unique effects instead of grinding for a weapon 4-5 separate times.
- add a system that automatically breaks down weapons picked up based on set parameters like the junk function, to cut down on constant inventory management
These are some changes that would vastly improve the health of the game
It's Nexon dude, they are more greedy than Bungie to listen
@@Bloodhurl67 they’ve changed some things based on player feedback. Really, if we get anything, I’d just want the color changes and the auto dismantle features. Free skins would be nice. But I know that would be a stretch.

Are there any Descendants that play similar to a Destiny Warlock?
The UI hotbar in gameplay needs scaling takes up way too much screen space
You make a good key point, a lot of these games are like, someday we will make a raid. And then it's two years later, and no one cared a WEEK later. They follow the Destiny model, except for the fact that they don't drop a raid in the first week. Destiny showed it's potential right away.

People have spent 500$ for a League skin, if someone wants to spend 100 to play a game for a whole year with the inclusion of every extra content, the let them be, It’s like an MMORPG sub.
And a cheap one at that.
I think one reason people aren't as mad about the pricing is because it's very similar, basically identical, to how warframe does things. So people coming from there are just use to the price/grind.
The difference being that warframe has an excellent player trading system. If this game implemented the same system i think it would stop all the complaints
The orokin catalyst equivalent is like $25. Some of the stuff is severely overpriced, but yeah, it's the same idea behind the monetization, so only the prices bug me
@@krisma3526they are adding a trading system n w the prices the items are I’d say farmers are gonna be really rich. Gonna be so much demand cuz of how expensive everything is so basically making u interact with the market or the community in some way.
Not just that tbh, it's more the value proposition
things like forma and reactors are ridiculously expensive in TFD, TFD skins are on average .5-2x more expensive then deluxe skins (with less items as well) and don't get me started on the net loss that's Prime Access vs Ult Access
The 60 Prime vs Ult bundle is:
Prime Access (in TDF terminology)
1 Ult character (2x Mod slot Preinstalled)
2 Ultimate Weapons (2x mod slot pre installed)
just short of 3000 premium currency
vs TFD's Ultimate Access for 60$ which nets you
1 ultimate Character
A skin
It's a fucking joke how overpriced even the basic TFD bundle is. "Skipping the grind" bullshit and people know it. When the competition has easier, faster, and more relaxed grind, and TFD is offering a blatantly WORSE deal, that defense doesn't hold up.
The basic 60$ bundle needs to have more value thrown into it. Stuff that's worth it. At least 1 ULT weapon and something else. The 100$ bundle should include more stuff as well as the new version of the 60$ bundle. Compared to WF's value proposition, ULT descendants are a blatant loss leader.
trading won't change that. Sure we might earn free currency, but who knows if they'll add a distinction between free and bought premium (which already exists as a classification). What if they add a trade tax to vapor ware a % of your premium currency like Star Conflict does?
With the current market pricing, the upper echelon of whales and no life grinders will control the basic market prices and set the supply/demand, unless nexon sets a min/max, which also means nexon dictates the player income and could make trading an absolute grind fest. No matter how you paint it, Nexon's greed and desire to triple dip the players wallet, while selling less value, concerns me greatly. Unless they change the entire store, I really don't see them trying to be "fair" to the player, as sad as that makes me. from a marketing perspective (something I dipped into in college) it makes very little sense, unless they're trying to go for a reverse psychology sales "We're sorry here's 25-50% off all our bad prior pricing please buy our shit" strat
As someone who plays warframe that's just wrong
1.out of the gate you have a small choice of colors to use and they can be put of defeat skins
2.they give a small ammout of the in game currcay for you to use to either make your life abit easier or to throw away at cosmetics (that was me)
3.when you buy colors in warframe you get alot of them AND you don't need to rebuy them
other things aside, machine gun sounds soo good i wouldn't mind it to be even louder

The fact that people are going around saying, "that's just the way things are" is the problem with gaming these days. When did we bend over and take this crap as consumers? Don't even start on the buggy game and collision crap that happens that prevent you from moving/dodging. Plus the shit serves lagging out all the time.
