So once upon a time warframe did have 2 raids but they were removed years ago to rework and fix the various bugs and balance issues and they’ve never been seen since. Now whenever the subject comes up they kinda dodge the question
the raid is kinda unfun and buggy imho, the thing about warframe is the game is doesnt fit with bullet sponge the game become slog and unfun once you encounter them so it's kinda hard to design a boss fight with that and not to mention the damage gap is kinda fked too, there's a player who only deal around 30k dmg per bullet and there's another player who deal 2bil dmg per bullet but i think they testing something with boss fight and trying to solve that problem, because they release the hidden boss each year now its just not their main focus and its not an easy fix
I used to daily host public LOR and nightmare LOR. Super easy with blind mirage and just talking to ppl. I just needed ppl to stand on the pads lol, i always oneshot vay hek at the end so no dps check there. There was no overguard and mirage could blind through walls. Never could do JV because it fried my PC and it glitched out A LOT, like the tendrils not working, losing the keything(?) when going inside Jordas. But I could always get through the 1st bit with the antiserum injectors no problem.
They def do not dodge the question, lmao, Pablo has explicitly said a number of times now, that even if they make new raid style content at some point, the old ones are never coming back. Which tbh is probably a good thing, the amount of work required to modernize them would be nearly equivalent to just making new ones

They really need to properly streamline the story experience in general because there are spoilers aplenty nearly everywhere. they rip you off track for the actual main story the second you can go to the open world zones and then The operator gets spoiled by the shops in game which is a huge problem aswell.
I don’t think it should be hidden until it’s completed, I think instead it should be blurred in the shop with the word “spoilers” on it and if you click on it the label says “Part of the 1999 Update. Contains spoilers, do you wish to reveal now at your own discretion?” with a “Yes” or “No” option. I think that would be a lot simpler than locking it behind the entire quest line of Warframe.

No limit, but... Every year, they run some alerts that award weapons, these include slots for the weapons. So once you have the weapons, you can sell them the following years. Night wave awards 2 slots every season If you're going to buy plat, consider buying a prime warframe pack, you get a lot of things, which imclude slots for the frames etc. and you get plat. They did have a slot pack a while back that gave you a collection of slots at a discount, but it was limited time.
quit listening to chat about potatos. The hek is a fine weapon to potato along with the warframes. you are working on getting all the primes organically then you wont be getting them all soon. so feel free to potato your favorite frame and weapon. quit letting meta gamers hold you back and just have fun. Not all prime warframes are able to be farmed. some are vaulted and can only get their relics by farming aya for the relics WHEN the prime resurgence for that specific frame is going. Also you should buy the xaku accessories pack. it is the best deal for the booster.
my one argument is, he shouldnt just potato everything, he should play with them a bit, see how he enjoys it, and them potato what he feel is worth it. also some weapons have variants that are far superior, like the hek, has both the vaykor and the kuva variants. there's no real reason to potato the base one from the get go, specially since he doesnt really have the leveled mods to make use of all those points, or is he facing enemies demanding that level of optimized damage. potatos should only really start being applied on primes, and around the war within. that's when he will start to face enemies worth of potatoed weapons.
Listen if he is willing to spend 50 plat just to rush something then 20 plat for a potato isn't gonna mean anything other than him feeling what it's like to actually mod a weapon/warframe. Also he wants to keep EVERYTHING. Granted that will change once he gets the helminth.

I’m finally getting back into Warframe. It seems to be a great company to support. All the mods are kinda confusing for me. But it’s been fun hopping back in after several years.
It's interesting I finished my Rail Jack back when it was first arrived to the game back when you had to pay a million credits for each part, and I'm curious why they changed the final key ignition cutscene back then you would have completed Chains of Harrow Quest, and upon completion the cutscene would show the indifference (the man in the wall) sitting on top of the capsule containing the finger waving at you. Am I just remembering wrong or did they change it and if so why?
You should buy plat whenever you get the 50% off coupons. With the amount of drip you buy you will need it. Getting twice the plat for the price equals more drip lol
I don't know why people don't want new players to play Duviri before the New War. I feel that it gives a lot of needed context to the story even though you won't know what is going on in Duviri until then.
Im in the post new war camp just cause you can replay new war but not duviri. So you play New War missing the info from duviri, play duviri understanding where the connections to new war are, then replay new war with full context. IMO warframe story stuff usually gets better on subsequent playthroughs anyway.
With the right mods and set up you can clear all content with pretty much any weapon, so dont worry about using a potatoe on a weapon if you like it. 20 plat is really not that much if you are enjoying yourself. The Hek is also a really solid early MR weapon that can get you through most content with mediocre mods. Since you mainly use melee you will probably get alot of mileage out of it. The Baza at MR 7 is also a really fun one you should try out
I'm not sure if its settled yet or not. But I think you should be able to start trading at least by the time you finish the main quests. I can understand waiting a while, but the RNG will drive you insane soloing everything and never even allowing to trade. Also when you start relic farming do those with a squad so you can pick from the rewards, giving you more chances at giving you something you want/need.
It's like 1 person said to use Nyx's 3& 4 and Cross took it as gospel and wonders why he keeps dying 🤣🤣 Nyx has 2 other abilities, especially her psychic bolts to strip armor BEFORE hit the 3. Or using her 2 after the Mind Control to to soften up the targets for the mind controlled enemy. And then he uses his 3 and then runs up to the enemies instead of letting the ability do what it's supposed to do. Every frame is viable in Warframe, people say "this frame is bad" are people pushing their personal favorites.

You asked if all ships are farmable, yeh except xiphos is another level of rng. Took me 2 years spanning 3500 total missions to get all pieces from drops - took literally so long and so much pain.
Dude... By that much time you would have been better off farming something else, trading. Then purchasing xiphos for what you traded in platinum. Diminishing return is the name of the game and that's how players get taken advantage of.

Protea is easily C Tier, frames that are SS Tier easily are “Titania, Baruuk, Dante, Jade, Excalibur Umbra, Loki, Citrine, and Stynax (if you can build him right)…” Wukong is a cool A Tier along the likes of Komei, Volt, Mag, Gauss, and Nyx (well Nyx now that they made her immortal)….she was useless before.

Idk why people hate spy missions. I like them, its challenging, and it reminds me that im still a space ninja. What DE should do is make a spy/assassination combo mission. To truly get the ninja feel. Is fun to oneshot crowds of enemies and be done in 1min, but i also like when you do a mission and you take your time doing it
Theres a late game spot in your ship whwre u can change warframe abiltes and add boost to warframe known as archon shards and u can also get mods that change how your abiltes function mods are so important tho like if u max out a damage mod that weapon will start 1 shotting most likely in normal star chart steel path is a whole different ball game and the switch from normal to steel path is so steep but thats far away steel path rewards are so good tho i love this game😭😂😂endo is important so dont waste it u need it for mods and fusing mods so do be careful on how u upgrade mods its kinda hard to keep up your endo early so put it into the worth while mods

I once thought that Nyx was one of the shittiest frames in the game….but then I learned to mod, and given the right choice of preferential weapons and the right Nyx exclusive mod, you can literally just walk around with an immortality field up while killing everything in sight with no restraint. The only thing you have to focus on is aim and collecting energy.

They used to have raids in warframe but they removed them from the game. I guess people didn't like them. However there is raid like content back in the game now you will discover later.
It's not that ppl didn't like the trials. It's the community around them is what made it impossible for ppl to get into them. All the toxic ppl that hunt eidolons are the same ppl that ruined trials. Compound that with the fact they needed 8 players to run made it worse. Then don't get me started on the nightmare variants. It's the one aspect of warframe where the bad apples of the community ended up dog piling just to ruin it for everyone.
@Dutchman1776 unfortunately thats how this goes. Its not people being toxic on purpose, its people wanting competent team mates so they don't waste their time. Theres a reason so few did them and got the OG Arcane Helmets. Same reason why very few people raid in Destiny, or in New World, FF14, and so on. When content is difficult and requires knowledge the expectations of players increase, and as always theres huge difficulty in finding a group who is willing to fail and waste time in order for another to learn. Eidolon Hunting is such a joke now, you can solo them, and really theres no need to ever do one. However I totally understand when the content was new, players expecting you to bring a chroma, or volt, etc and use a sniper rifle, have a good amp, and so on. Otherwise the fights will take forever or be impossible. Unfortunately competition of any kind births toxicity, because whether its pve or pvp, everyone values the little time they have, and when its being wasted, it creates anger, and you feel inclined to take it out on the problem or problems of the group. I personally like difficult content like raids. However I havent done a raid in years. Finding randoms to do them is a challenge, and as such I view raid like content as both a waste of time and money for the devs to create. Sometimes devs view aspirational content highly. However at the detriment of the community is usually not worth it. For a casual game, its probably good they readded raid content in new ways.
Something to consider with Raids is that they have to be maintained every time an update is implement into the game. With the way they made them at first, every new update broke them. This means that DE needs to have a dedicated team that lives to maintain and update the raids for every new update. At the time, they didn't have these resources to spare, so they just got rid of them to focus on making new content. To make raids possible, DE would need to find a way to make raids isolated enough to not get broken by every new update. This means making them smaller (4 players max) and less resource heavy for the Dev team. It's also a concern that adding raids would harbor toxicity again, which negatively affected the original raids greatly. It's similar to these reasons that we don't see them try anything with conclave. DE is not that big, especially now that they're split between Warframe and Soulframe. It might actually be more likely for Soulframe to receive raids than Warframe.
@LoveSeeker81392 while I agree with you on how the toxicity is created with higher level content, the raids were never *that* complicated. Difficult for the time, yeah. But the majority of the headache was from the bugs. I was thankful to be apart of a small clan that taught the raids to multiple groups every week if 4 of us were on at a time. But the idea of "I'm getting frustrated because someone isn't understanding fast enough, so I'm gonna be a toxic child about it" is uncalled for in ANY game. Especially when the group is advertised as a school bus. The excuse of "it happens in all games with end-game content" doesn't cut it. There's a reason it's a banable offense in warframe, and DE thankfully takes it seriously. It doesn't matter that eidolons are a joke now because a ton of ppl still avoid them because of the toxicity. It's one thing to go into recruiting chat and fake your way into a group. But when the toxicity I see is public matching into tridolons in an attempt to help the newer players, and IM the one getting yelled at for doing ALL the work from some 500hr mr14 arcane farmer, you can imagine how the 2 other fairly new players are gonna react to it. There is no place in any game, especially warframe, for the amount of toxicity that gatekeeps content because the invested casual doesn't want to deal with it. Even when the trials were in the game, they weren't like eidolon hunts where you're so pressed for time. The nightmare ones might've been time gated (don't remember them too well) but what I remember was going fast because of the energy drain when interacted with almost anything.

So you play New War missing the info from duviri, play duviri understanding where the connections to new war are, then replay new war with full context. IMO warframe story stuff usually gets better on subsequent playthroughs anyway.

I've found it beneficial to be awake for almost ALL games.
With the right mods and set up you can clear all content with pretty much any weapon, so dont worry about using a potatoe on a weapon if you like it. 20 plat is really not that much if you are enjoying yourself. The Hek is also a really solid early MR weapon that can get you through most content with mediocre mods. Since you mainly use melee you will probably get alot of mileage out of it. The Baza at MR 7 is also a really fun one you should try out
I'm not sure if its settled yet or not. But I think you should be able to start trading at least by the time you finish the main quests. I can understand waiting a while, but the RNG will drive you insane soloing everything and never even allowing to trade. Also when you start relic farming do those with a squad so you can pick from the rewards, giving you more chances at giving you something you want/need.

It's like 1 person said to use Nyx's 3& 4 and Cross took it as gospel and wonders why he keeps dying 🤣🤣 Nyx has 2 other abilities, especially her psychic bolts to strip armor BEFORE hit the 3. Or using her 2 after the Mind Control to to soften up the targets for the mind controlled enemy. And then he uses his 3 and then runs up to the enemies instead of letting the ability do what it's supposed to do. Every frame is viable in Warframe, people say "this frame is bad" are people pushing their personal favorites.

Woke up about a year ago to a pinched nerve in my neck. Literally couldn't move anything from the neck down for a good 30-45 minutes. Yeah, it's scarry shit. I live alone as well, which didn't help the situation. 😅
You asked if all ships are farmable, yeh except xiphos is another level of rng. Took me 2 years spanning 3500 total missions to get all pieces from drops - took literally so long and so much pain.
Dude... By that much time you would have been better off farming something else, trading. Then purchasing xiphos for what you traded in platinum. Diminishing return is the name of the game and that's how players get taken advantage of.

Protea is easily C Tier, frames that are SS Tier easily are “Titania, Baruuk, Dante, Jade, Excalibur Umbra, Loki, Citrine, and Stynax (if you can build him right)…” Wukong is a cool A Tier along the likes of Komei, Volt, Mag, Gauss, and Nyx (well Nyx now that they made her immortal)….she was useless before.

Just follow the star chart, the planet junctions will tell you what to do next.
You can put exilus mods in other slots, so unless you are out of slots and still have capacity, I would not use an adapter.
Customization and drip is endgame stuff but if you have the leniency to get drip early then all hands up to you my friend

Cross, i played the game since release. Though im not good at modding but i spent most of my time doing fashion of my frames. So dont stress if youre working on your frames drip. Its part of the game and we enjoy it.

Theres a late game spot in your ship whwre u can change warframe abiltes and add boost to warframe known as archon shards and u can also get mods that change how your abiltes function mods are so important tho like if u max out a damage mod that weapon will start 1 shotting most likely in normal star chart steel path is a whole different ball game and the switch from normal to steel path is so steep but thats far away steel path rewards are so good tho i love this game😭😂😂endo is important so dont waste it u need it for mods and fusing mods so do be careful on how u upgrade mods its kinda hard to keep up your endo early so put it into the worth while mods

I once thought that Nyx was one of the shittiest frames in the game….but then I learned to mod, and given the right choice of preferential weapons and the right Nyx exclusive mod, you can literally just walk around with an immortality field up while killing everything in sight with no restraint. The only thing you have to focus on is aim and collecting energy.

They used to have raids in warframe but they removed them from the game. I guess people didn't like them. However there is raid like content back in the game now you will discover later.
It's not that ppl didn't like the trials. It's the community around them is what made it impossible for ppl to get into them. All the toxic ppl that hunt eidolons are the same ppl that ruined trials. Compound that with the fact they needed 8 players to run made it worse. Then don't get me started on the nightmare variants. It's the one aspect of warframe where the bad apples of the community ended up dog piling just to ruin it for everyone.
@Dutchman1776 unfortunately thats how this goes. Its not people being toxic on purpose, its people wanting competent team mates so they don't waste their time. Theres a reason so few did them and got the OG Arcane Helmets. Same reason why very few people raid in Destiny, or in New World, FF14, and so on. When content is difficult and requires knowledge the expectations of players increase, and as always theres huge difficulty in finding a group who is willing to fail and waste time in order for another to learn.
Eidolon Hunting is such a joke now, you can solo them, and really theres no need to ever do one. However I totally understand when the content was new, players expecting you to bring a chroma, or volt, etc and use a sniper rifle, have a good amp, and so on. Otherwise the fights will take forever or be impossible.
Unfortunately competition of any kind births toxicity, because whether its pve or pvp, everyone values the little time they have, and when its being wasted, it creates anger, and you feel inclined to take it out on the problem or problems of the group.
I personally like difficult content like raids. However I havent done a raid in years. Finding randoms to do them is a challenge, and as such I view raid like content as both a waste of time and money for the devs to create. Sometimes devs view aspirational content highly. However at the detriment of the community is usually not worth it. For a casual game, its probably good they readded raid content in new ways.
Something to consider with Raids is that they have to be maintained every time an update is implement into the game. With the way they made them at first, every new update broke them. This means that DE needs to have a dedicated team that lives to maintain and update the raids for every new update. At the time, they didn't have these resources to spare, so they just got rid of them to focus on making new content.
To make raids possible, DE would need to find a way to make raids isolated enough to not get broken by every new update. This means making them smaller (4 players max) and less resource heavy for the Dev team. It's also a concern that adding raids would harbor toxicity again, which negatively affected the original raids greatly. It's similar to these reasons that we don't see them try anything with conclave.
DE is not that big, especially now that they're split between Warframe and Soulframe. It might actually be more likely for Soulframe to receive raids than Warframe.
@LoveSeeker81392 while I agree with you on how the toxicity is created with higher level content, the raids were never *that* complicated. Difficult for the time, yeah. But the majority of the headache was from the bugs. I was thankful to be apart of a small clan that taught the raids to multiple groups every week if 4 of us were on at a time. But the idea of "I'm getting frustrated because someone isn't understanding fast enough, so I'm gonna be a toxic child about it" is uncalled for in ANY game. Especially when the group is advertised as a school bus. The excuse of "it happens in all games with end-game content" doesn't cut it. There's a reason it's a banable offense in warframe, and DE thankfully takes it seriously.
It doesn't matter that eidolons are a joke now because a ton of ppl still avoid them because of the toxicity. It's one thing to go into recruiting chat and fake your way into a group. But when the toxicity I see is public matching into tridolons in an attempt to help the newer players, and IM the one getting yelled at for doing ALL the work from some 500hr mr14 arcane farmer, you can imagine how the 2 other fairly new players are gonna react to it.
There is no place in any game, especially warframe, for the amount of toxicity that gatekeeps content because the invested casual doesn't want to deal with it. Even when the trials were in the game, they weren't like eidolon hunts where you're so pressed for time. The nightmare ones might've been time gated (don't remember them too well) but what I remember was going fast because of the energy drain when interacted with almost anything.
@@Dutchman1776 I miss the Raid School Bus. I never played with them, but they really paved the way in trying to create a more positive community to combat a pretty toxic LFG experience.
