I remember turning on thrice upon a time after school hyped asf to watch it. And then this song started playing with all the clips of the past rebuild films flashing past. Gave me mad chills and also made me sad knowing the series was ending😢. Thank you Hideaki Anno. Evangelion changed my life and changed the lives of so many others. Your amazing.
This reminds me of my own youth. Only replace “thrice upon a time” with End of Evangelion DVD menu. Still get goosebumps. Godbless Ano, the team, and Eva.
Evangelion was such a bizzare experience. Controversial yet its messages were true. Joyful yet miserable. Disorienting and intricate. I probably won't be able to experience anything like it, ever again. And tbh it almost gave me the same feeling as when I am in a church. It was really pleasing. In conclusion I wanna say: Don't be sad that it's over, be glad that it happened.
