As for your adventures on the bank and you not including it, blanking is part and parcel of carp fishing, if it was easy half of us wouldn't bother. I like to see you out there, so don't worry about the results post it anyways. It's all about the highs and the lows and late autumn and winter carping is gonna be tough on large low stocked waters it's not always about filling your boots mate, so don't feel you need a carp on the bank to make it worthwhile. Just being you out there and doing it is good enough for great viewing and I for one love your commitment.

Damn I missed this one ! Buzzing it just came up, fished there only 4 times myself, managed 4 carp, including 3 pb's in succession ! Love the place. Twice on kingfisher and twice on swan.
I looked upto Dave in a way when i started,he was always in the mags with proper nice captures and got me into using Nutrabaits gear....Happy to know he's still fishing and enjoying life 👍
Remember his articles in AC on Sutton with those horrible springer indicators and bow string tight line's must have been like hitting a brick walk picking up one of his hook baits
