I've been watching this video for almost 7 years.
Me too, I love Dallas but I feel like he lost a little bit of his dark side.
@@andeusmc2030 that's exactly how i feel. probably why i come back to this so much?
watch this a million times a year ❤️
such a good video. same
First time here. Loved this guy and band for years though. Just loving it. His music truly moves me. The ballads and the rockin tunes...all good
"I remember thinking back to when I was a kid, wanting to make music for a living, and I remember going through a period where I felt defeated because no one was listening to what I was doing. Then I realized I had to actually work for it, get out there and show people that I think I could write a good song as apposed to waiting for them to come and listen to it." Inspired me enough to start a EP with my old bandmate.
When he said that people move on from artists, because of being at different stages of life. I know in my heart, that I will NEVER leave Dallas. No matter what stage of my life I'm in, No way in hell!
So he's chilling out in a church, drinking beer and making music? I love this guy.
That version of Of Space and Time was amazing.
Was just going to say that!
It's so nice to hear him sing a little lower
I still think about the words Dallas says in this Video. 12 years later is still resonates with me. "I actually have to work for it." I think that's the part where we all get hung up on. At least myself. Thank you Dallas for all that you do and how your words age but the message still rings clear. Also Shout out to Daniel Romano on this album! I personally think this is dallas' best band album because of the Dan&Dallas but I'm bias towards this album! Still enjoy all that Matt Kelly Brings to the band with his slide playing!
so pure, so honest and clear. i've never wanted so bad for someone to get absolutely everything they deserve. his music is so absolutely inspiring that how can you not love this music? how can you not grow with him?
I've been looking for this video since I first watched it many years ago...and now I am so bloody happy!!
I saw dallas at the circle in the square years ago. His live performance (as a fellow musician) was inspiring. Circle in the square is a world renowed venue that typically caters to symphonies. His voice control is insane.
It's really cool to see how hard Dallas works on his craft. It's clear that he's passionate about his music.
Daniel Romano is soooo amazing.
Dallas Green I hope you never stop with what your doing.
Hamilton Ontario!! my hometown. thumbs up!
I have watched this video probably 20 times over. Everything from the content to how it is shot is incredible.
Nobodys music can make me cry like dallas greens. the raw emotions that he brings is unmatched.
"Oh My GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! Why can't I just do it?"
This just made me love Dallas even more. I will meet this man before I die.
It's Catherine North Studios. The place is amazing. The hospitality is top-notch. Michael and Duke are keeping Dan's legacy alive and well.
And just when I thought I couldn't fall more in love with Dallas Green..
This album is going to be the soundtrack of my summer. Possibly my life.
Genius has a name. DALLAS GREEN.
Dallas how could any of your fans not like this album? It's has to be your best work yet. I haven't stopped listening to it since I got it. Simply addicted.
I think I have watched this video close to 20-30 times. I love the way it's filmed.
This is going to be a phenomenal album. I cannot wait. Just the little song clips give me goose bumps.
This was my favorite video back in high school.. I've watched this video probably dozens of times. It just made me so happy. I remember I even did some presentation on this album and talked about how much it helped me, during my random hit of depression when I was a sophomore. Still my favorite album by Dallas Green!!
He's SO REAL!!! And that's what truly makes him an amazing musician. Not just the angelic qualities of his voice.
I met him once, and he's the kindest, most humble man ever.
this is the only thing that has really made me smile this week.
I go to this video a few times a day just to listen 8:22 to 9:12 then replay it. Please release this song soon!
I love love love Dallas Green.
Sometimes is the album I listen to when I need a good crying session, especially 'Day Old Hate' and this album really started my obsession with Dallas. I sing my heart out to Little Hell, the whole album blows me away. I love what you do and I was so lucky to see you perform in the UK, never thought Id get the chance. I love that you try new things and I am sure all your fans feel the same, you amaze us all - much love x
the guitarr that plays from 01:07 - 02:09 is just amazing. Gives me bumps every time
This is my favorite album in this universe and all the others
Holy, this makes me want him forever.
you know... I have watched this soooo many times, and it never gets old.
It is so relieving to watch Dallas struggle on that slide part at 12:15 in the video. When I'm struggling to record a part, doing it over and over again, I feel like a sham of a guitar player. It feels better to watch a talent be willing to share that struggle here.
it comes out a day before my birthday . i think thats the best gift ive ever recieved
Dallas's voice is perfection
I can't stop watching this.
This music changes my life almost every time I hear it. Thank you for something so beautiful and unique.
This video is quickly becoming one of my favourite videos on TH-cam.
wow the way he describes people disliking new albums from artists actually makes sense. It makes sense now!
My favorite album!
Dallas Green's talent is way too profound for words...his music fills all of my senses and invokes all emotions.
best male vocalist. his speaking voice is nearly just as beautiful
He can release anything and many people would love it. He just has it.
2021 ~ returning for the music, artistry and ping pong!
I haven’t watched this since it came out and I feel like I remember it best for best. Hands down my favorite DG album.
Omg I love this guy. He's just too good to be true. *heart melt*
that man has changed my life. he made me view the world in such a different way.. i would do anything to talk to him for an hour. my idol
Dallas, a good man, a good heart.
This is so amazing! Dallas Green is still one of my favorite artists today! I grew up listing to all of the music xD
OH man I'm so stoked!
''There's an elephant in the back of the room, and he's standing in plain view. Everyone can see, that he looks just like me. Roaming through the hills, all alone. Trying to find my direction home. Question of space, matter of time. Follow the stars, 'till the first night.''
Those lines, they're so beautiful..
I really fall in love with this album, please keep doing your things, even if we had to cry another entire album, i'll placed to do it.
It's so beautiful to see that much passion and truth in a musician. Its just perfect that he's recording in a church. Everything about his music feels secret, and almost sacred, why not record in a sacred place? Mmmm, not to mention the acoustics in there sounded heavenly.
Little hell really calms my nerves. Great album
So envious of this man...
He inspires me. He's the reason I'm learning to play the acoustic guitar.
every song gives me goosebumps...amazing.
Everything sounds legendary. If this was a full 2 hour film, i would die.
I love Dallas. Could listen to him forever, speaking and singing.
Legend right here.
I love how he holds his fist up like "Really? Nobody?"
HE IS FLAWLESS.
@8:28 Been looking for that song since I heard it on here 2yrs ago lol Little did I know Dallas was being the super mind ninja that he is and giving us a super early taste of what would be coming 2yrs later. Of Space and Time... Seriously couldn't have come at a better time :) Bravo once again Dallas, Bravo
I dance and cry to his music.
Sweet. My former band recorded all our tracks in an open space live off the floor in a renovated church (turned into a home) here in Nelson, BC.
"Little Hell" is one of the best songs I've ever heard. Damn...it's amazing.
8:25 i wish of space and time made it onto little hell omg that was amazing
This is how I sing it.
i JUST realized that Little Hell is being released on my birthday. wonderful. :) yes! hoping for a great 24th birthday. last year's was depressing. at least now if this birthday is depressing i'll be able to vent through listening to this on full blast and screaming the words. hell yeaaa.
That is.. one awesome studio.
I don't know what I would do without this album.
damn his voice still sounds beautiful even when he screams in rage
I've been watching this video for 7min for the 1st time. Who knew, a church? That's friggin awesome man!
This whole video is a mood
This is just... beautiful.
The great thing about loving music are the times when you discovery brilliance, genius in musical form. Up until about a month ago id never heard of City & colur or Dallas greene, so you can imagine how im feeling now :)
One of the best
I can't express my love for this man. Dallas, you are amazing.
he sounds like a god damn angel. i am SO proud to be canadian because of this man.
Dallas is so down to earth. I love it.
I now have a whole new appreciation for the album!!!!!
''Life is all about the sort of little hells you have to go through, to get through it. Like there's always the same trials and tribulations you have to go through in order to get to the things you want.''
Absolute favorite. i love you so much dallas. "I don't want to make people dance; I want to make people cry."
This album is going to be so great. I feel like I learn so much about myself through his music. When anything major happens in my life and I feel lost I turn on city and colour. It always makes me cry (I guess Dallas succeeded), but then I feel whole again, like it heals me. I hope Dallas knows how powerful his music is to his fans.
I think i must watch this atleast once a day.
I'm blown away by this album!
I wish there was an album that was just an hour of music like the first 3 minutes of the video. That would make my life
explosions in the sky is kinda like that.
I love this guy. He seems like such a kosher dude.
Dallas is the coolest man on earth
Wow! That's the 1st time I've EVER heard Dallas say he wants people to cry. Well holy sheep sht! You achieved that with me. I was so moved as a matter of fact that I tried to sing about it. Key words " I Tried." It took sometime to realize that it is normal. I just didn't know that this is what Dallas wanted people to hear and feel. Well achieved D.G.
OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
I've watched this sooo many times
this is an intelligent, gifted man
you are just so amazing that i keep on looking for live versions of your album! just thank you and yourself and the band
That was the greatest 15 minutes I have ever spent watching a video on youtube!!! Gosh City and Colour is amazingggg!!!
Lol that part where he's wearing that hat is priceless haha.
Little hell is out while I'm studying in France...it seriously is going to be hell if I can't find this CD in a store there.
