Thanks for the video. Did you install pressure pump in the supply system. Would like to know if these faucets and taps work without pressure pump installed. Thank you in anticipation.
We have purposefully chosen faucets and taps, that work well without pressure pumps. And we are happy using it... Definitely, there is a lot of difference ( taking a shower from a pressure pump-enabled shower unit is a different experience, true!!) ... Still, we are happy, because we don't want to waste water that much and we are getting decent water from the units that we have installed at home.

Is this faceplate made of metal ? I bought Geberit one and feel like plastic (same feel like umbrella handle material)
We bought kohler-Lynk faceplate.. It is made of moulded plastic!! It has coating above it.. (never get a cheap feel)

we bought the jaquar ewc the square one wiith MRP 17xxx 4 years back. Now it is full of hairline cracks. While in old house we have parry ware old model which is trouble free for 15 yrs . So choosing expensive and barnds will nor help always .its my experience. Many of our jaguar CP fittings also now started to peel off the chrome finish
Yes yes.. But it all depends.. We had parryware in our old house.. It was full of hairline cracks.. Jaquar/ kohler/ cera/ parryware, be it anything.. Its life - to a very good extend depends on how we handle those things and its inherent quality.. We cannot guarantee anything.. Taken into consideration, the satisfactory reviews of kohler users, we have made our purchase with the hope that, it will keep our pocket safe atleast for a 15 years time!! Let's hope for the best.. @@backtohome Understood yes . Not criticizing your choice , Kohler of course is a quality brand. Shared my experience with jaquar .The premium brands now reduced their years of warranty too , earlier it was 10 ,now it is five.

Hi, seeing this video for last 3 hours. some doubts. For the wash basin faucets its not mentioned about 350mm bottle trap without drain in polished chrome(ID:K-75823IN-CP ) in the video. But Kohler brochure tells its required. If the plumbing work is completed please confirm the work can be done with/ without this item. TIA.

We talked to plumber... He said we will be putting water trap which will be powerful enough to catch smell and prevent insects from entering into bathroom... May be that's fine!! So, we are not gonna put bottle trap..
Its optional..most of the plumbers dont prefer it....
