There are different ways of going about it with two being the "common" ones. Either you leave them both centered, one less loud than the other, or you pan them left and right. The latter works best if the singer is very good at doubling so both takes sound almost identical. :) /Mattias
Hey M, I was wondering how you did the auto tune effex on the vocals? Would really love to know how that works on Reason ;) Thanx for sharing these knowledge with us! :)
I say it depends on the type of sounds your looking for or what sound the band wants but i keep them center and depending on what im going for ill seperate them a bit.
pls Martias, can you do a video on how to mix a rap vocal i have been searching on youtube but couldnt find any . "how to record Rap/Hiphop vocals in reason" pls
Hi there! May I asked why the main vocals in the beginning of the session are taped mono, but your vocal double is taped in stereo?! That makes it stand in 3 places right?! But do you have another reason ;) for this? thanks! :)
I believe "hot jewel in the sky" refers to the Sun in the sky, which would make perfect sense. Sometimes you have to read between the lines to understand song lyrics.
You should have mentioned that creating a parallel-track will create phase-problems. They are clearly audible in the video too. Those are some good tips, for producers of electronic music. I wouldn't call it "How to mix vocals" though, as these tips are pretty useless when you're going the acoustic route for example.
An easy fix for this problem is to put the same devices/plugins on both channels, but with 0% wetness on the dry one. That way, the same audio delay will be applied, and there will be no phasing!

When i try to record lyrics in the audio track it just records the beat and my lyrics instead of just my lyrics

what is the reverb processing you are using on the second vocal example? Sounds great.
Is there a way to eq vocals in Reason song key frequencies?

Simple & Sweet!

This is Reason6, right? i only have reason 4 and 5 :\

Awesome thank you :D.
That's why you have the "invert phase" button on the mixer
The Neptune Pitch Shifter. Same idea as Auto-Tune.
🔥🔥🔥🔥💯🙏
ooh god really want reason 6 O.o
I double voice in general
All This Bacon I Love It!
Its a sneezing song. HACHOO IN DA SKY!!
Try to make your overdubs with less syllables. So, instead of: "Hot chew in the sky", try:"Oa you in uh aiie" :)
Phasing issues.

"hot Jew in the sky?"
Why not just copy the vocal track? It's so damn easier!
because then the tracks would phase...
im holding out for 7 lol
Hot jew in the sky.
Hot jewel? That makes no sense, hot Jew works better, embrace it :)
