I think you haven't fully grasped the concept of the ENFP: EVERYONE is potentially a close friend, even a stranger.
Some close friends are even closer to us, they practically live in our souls, in my case these are usually the feelers (ESFP, ISFP, INFJ, ENFJ, INFP).

Isfp also love "being a sloth", vibing, being chill, and relaxing.

Also, it's hard to truly p*ss an Isfp off forever.

The reason I still would also wait for hours for a doctor's appointment is that I hate complaining or being seen as an inconvenience for people because I would rather not make anyone mad. @yopyop3241 Absolutely an INTP. Q&A with God is constant, but arguing is pointless. While it can be frustrating, God knows the "why" and "how" of things better than I ever could. Sometimes he's forthcoming with the answers, but more often than not, there's a lot of side research required before I can understand and appreciate the answers more fully... and there are quite a few answers I'm still waiting on, but we're working on God's schedule, not mine.
INTPs aren't (generally) argumentative... and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise... 🥸

8:42 As an ISFP myself, I will say that having an ENTP best friend is interesting. He can talk to me about politics, historical events, and conspiracy theories for hours. I think our longest-ever conversation was five hours, most of it one-sided (as our conversations usually are). And that's not me getting on to him. That's just how we are most of the time. He talks and I listen, and I'll occasionally throw in a couple of thoughts about a theory or philosophy he's brought up.
4:57 I have a family member who is probably an ENTJ, and it's taken us literally decades to come to a place where we kind of understand each other.
6:22 One time, I tried to have a political conversation with an ENFJ friend of mine. That was a mistake. She's a cool person, but our opposite ways of looking at political issues were problematic. On my end, the focus was on the inherent rightness or wrongness of an issue. On her end, the focus was on what the issue meant for the people. After coming to an impasse, we agreed to not get into discussions like that anymore.
9:25 I briefly worked with someone who is probably an ESFJ. That was scary. Not because of her being an ESFJ, but because she was what I would call a Dark Side ESFJ. In her case, she was possessive, inappropriate at times (like using the term "work husband" for a co-worker she liked), and prone to anger. I think every personality type has a dark side, and hers was on full display. I had nothing to do with her eventual firing, but I was relieved when she was finally gone.
4:22 I recently started working with a woman who is probably an ENFP. She and I got along almost immediately. She's high-energy and talkative, and I'm happy to let her lead any conversations we have. There's something effortless about talking with her that I really enjoy. I don't sense any kind of agenda with her. She just speaks her mind and seems genuinely interested when I respond.

Interesting that you describe having these opposing friends because in my experience, an ISFP will simply not be friends with people who are too different from them lol I wouldn't keep a friend who had opposing political beliefs to me, for example. The only ENFJ in my life who acts that way is a family member, so not someone I have a choice about. I'd never choose to stay friends with such a person!

    • @InJeffable
      @InJeffable 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@jijitters While it doesn't always work out, I have learned that you can be friends with people who have political beliefs that oppose your own. I didn't mention this in my comment, but my best friend and I have voted for opposing presidential candidates ever since we were old enough to vote. I don't approve of his choices, but I acknowledge that he's free to vote the way he wants and I don't let it bother me.
I sadly did lose a different friend over voting, though. I'm not sure what his personality type is (maybe ISTP), but he blew up at me for voting for the presidential candidate he opposed in the 2016 election. I thought that maybe our friendship could be salvaged after that, but it wasn't the same. I pretty much lost all contact with him years ago.

The topic, using emojis, adding to them along the way, and MANIFESTATION were absolute perfection 😄 I dont walk round with a twig, but loved the representation as i do love nature, gardening and am vegetarian 😁 My best friends are ENFP and ISTJ, and i have so many INTJ close friends. But i love ENFJs and ESFJs too, and my partner is an ENTP who fortunately keeps alot of his musings for his friends since id not cope 🙌 I also know lots of INFPs who are super chatty around me. Thanks for putting alot of thought into this. I think the ISFP is not often represented because we are visual people and not wordy people and therefore never comment, but i thought Id just write this chapter here that has taken me way too long since you pulled out all the stops 💫🤘🌟

ISFP really don't like having to be serious lol We're very in tune with our emotions but they're personal and not something we need to discuss with others, and we don't really know how to react when other people want to get serious with us. We'd rather just go deal with it privately and then come back as if it never happened, as being "serious" is something that ruins fun. ISFP wants everything to be about enjoying ourselves and if we could, we'd reject everything and everyone in the world that doesn't enhance our joy or at least the interesting experiences for us. Business-minded folks also annoy us because we don't value work all that much. It's pretty fair to consider ISFPs to be hedonists.

•ESTJ - they can be helpful because they'll take on all the responsibility I don't want. Not someone to open up to about feelings though.
•INTP - not an emotional bone in their body, but shockingly missing the thinking parts too. Pretty sure they're 100% vibes, random unnecessary trivia, and fear of sunlight.
•ESFP - pretty chill, nice to do stuff with. Nice for carrying a conversation, but they expect me to listen and be engaged.
•ENFP - I don't think I've met a healthy one yet. Oddest folks I know. They seem to be aware of it, yet also determined to make it everyone else's problem. I don't want that responsibility, man.
•ENTJ - Gonna be honest, I don't think I've ever met one but the fact that they exist frightens me.
•ESTP - Wildly and randomly fluctuate between being surprisingly responsible and being completely irresponsible so that I have to pick up the pieces. I don't want that. And this all somehow occurs with a totally empty skull. They don't think through... Like... Anything? But hey I support it.
•ISFJ - excellent. Manage to be good for handlinh responsibilities AND conversation. Only downside is they view "because that's just how things are done" as a perfectly good explanation.
•ENFJ - carry conversations for me and unlike ESFP do not need me to be a part of the conversation. I just need to nod thoughtfully along. Weird need to mentor me though, like bro I didn't ask. Not that I would if I actually wanted that though.
•ISTJ - pretty chill, but it's like two ships in the night. They just do their thing and I do mine. Grateful to them for always handling responsibilities I don't want but also not caring about the design choices I make to those responsibilities.
•ISTP - They seem to want me to think they have empty heads like the INTP and ESTP. But I know better. No one who admits to finding listening to conversations and gleaning information fun has an empty head. Somehow I will figure them out. But also they place no expectations on me and mind their own business and just generally are cool people. Except that one guy... Manipulation isn't cool, kids.
•ENTP - omg this is such a hit or miss. They are either violently friendly and funny as anything, or determined to nit pick irrelevant details to be right.
•INFP - sometimes I wonder if they just repeat my words back to me on purpose or actually agree with me. Focus on random stuff, but hey that's life.
•ESFJ - For being a famously socially correct/politeness obsessed type, they are a lil socially deaf. I've politely declined 4 times Patty, leave me alone. But also they coordinate things, which I do not have the energy to do, so I applaud them for that.
•INFJ - they wanna know stuff about me that I didn't consider thinking about. But they ask it in a way that implies they're intellectually and spiritually superior, which is obviously false, I just don't go around proving it. Anyway please do just a lil decorum. Don't be asking me how that affects my relationship with my parents every five minutes. Let me live my life.
•INTJ - Don't interact with me, which I am ok with. Kind of.
•ISFP - Now here's the thing, I am terrible at identifying how I appear to others, so I don't think I'm very good at spotting ISFPs. For all I know it really is just me. And I'm kinda cool. Solid type, if a lil funky.

I think there is a split between the more people-loving and silence-loving ISFPs lol I am a strong ISFP but I far and away, vastly prefer extroverts because I want to be the quiet one, I don't like silence at all and need my friends to be the talkative ones so I can join in when I want to but also let them just go off without ME having to fill the silence. If I'm around other introvert types, I (since ISFP is probably the most social introvert type) feel the need to be the talkative one, and it gets draining.

Yooooo...G'Day and Far out! Our pal-y Sally's vocal fry reminded me of a girl from Cali who liked to dilly dally, but especially your ISFP from your, imo 10/10, "16 Personality Types answering an uncomfortable question." What is the plant's type? Ne-ways, what a chatty Sally!
Her present is a gift. A gift of gab. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. Relying on that was how I was able to ace every book report judging it by its cover and while ISFJ girls giggled at my peachy analyses, swapped our papers. Teachers said I had excellent penmanship! Looking at their grades, I'd think ISFJs were lazy sloths, and I appreciate my pal-y's Sally's confirmation. However, I wish I would have known to put them in an ISFP's inner circle because they definitely weren't hashtaghappiestsloths when they found out, even after I told them sloth is luv, sloth is lyf!
Also, wish I had a good teacher like you, Dear Kristin, because I wasn't smart enough to understand her "you feel?" rhetoric. Feelings are dumb, so it would make me happy if there was a rule against them!
Been personally paying particular attention to your use of pretty personality purple in recent videos. Because anytime you use purple it's pretty by definition of it being a girl color and girls are made of sugar, spice and everything nice.
Conversely, I never wore purple for the same reason I never read past the cover of a book, because only women do being that only they cook. As well as do dishes. And I'm suspicious of any man who does.
Converse, however, wear I did, but I had tons of teenage testosterone and it still wasn't enough to balance it out. Know the rules, break the rules sorta deal, Mrs. Teacher Kristin.
Alas, the inner ISFP circle is now complete. When I left you I was but the learner, but now I am the master.
That's a Star Wars quote because I'm already happily hyped for your May the 4th skit.
gotta go like the little less conversation little more action ESFP Elvis analysis! Also, the ISTJ marshmellows made me so hungry. haha
Cool Cameron Cameo! Hope you and your family are groovy, Kristin! Thanks again! Peace and love!

Hi, ISFP here. You have pointed out perfectly what is strange with ENFJs (the saints of MBTI).
They do not know what they want, but they see something in you they want themselves. Then they "care" for you.

ENFJ here. I do not remotely think or act in the way you described. Also, not all ENFJ's care with quotations.

I did not talk about you personally. ENFJ is quite rare so it is not possible to know them in a representative number.

ENFJs aren't the way you describe. You don't need to know too many to have a general idea. Listening to them is helpful. They're just interested in people. They find their passions and things to care about by looking at others around them. They certainly care for others because their interests generally gravitate around people in one way or another. They're often seen as saints because they're driven by purpose provided by their Ni to help others.

@@kyurei4478 The helping attitude is extroverted feeling (all FJ types).
Kristin works with irony, so do not take it too serious.

@@irenegronegger8972 Indeed it is. But the way they articulate the goals and make sense of this helping attitude is through their Ni vision.
I don't take it seriously myself. Problem is some take it seriously despite the irony of Kristin's work.

I'm losing it at how all the ISFPs I have known do, in fact, talk LIKE THAT 😂😂😂 they talk like driving at 20 km/hr vkdksksk
Yes that mostly makes them "cool" but it's also very funny to realizw right now
Also I'm surprised they wouldn't be better friends with ISTP because I thought they had more in common but makes sense...

6:52 As ENFJ confirms, it was quite sad to hear
(...starting a passive brain process about how one could say it is less offensive but to get the point across)
