We're down the road a bit, in San Antonio, where the library system includes about 30 branches. Our branch is always welcoming and friendly, but the best part of going there is to pick up an item (book, CD, blu-ray, etc) I'd requested online. The library system brings items to the requestor's branch for pickup. Means the SAPL catalog is HUGE, not just what's in the building. Have I mentioned the library's free weekly chess lessons sponsored by Rackspace and taught by a chess master? Am so happy I retired here in San Antonio.
