@@indigenousfamilyliteracyci8380 how long do they take to dry. They won't get moldy? I live in a rainy climate. I cannot dry the dolls in the sun. Should I put them in the oven or blow dry them?
I don’t know where you live. I’m in Albuquerque, New Mexico and I buy them at the grocery store in the Mexican food section because corn husks are used to make tamales. They sell probably 2 dozen in a package for about $7.
Thank you very much for your very clear instructions. My first doll from your instructions looked pretty good.
If you don’t have string you can use a thin piece of the husk
So do you dry out the corn husks after shucking your corn and then soak them just before making your doll?
yes! that was exactly what I was thinking
You can buy the corn shucks at stores or online already dry
She looks nice. Do they put faces on the dolls?👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I was searching for these instructions.thank you for sharing 😊

I love your tattoo!! Thanks for this easy to follow tutorial.
Very beautiful doll 🎎🎎
Well done!!! Thanks for the video!!
Absolutely brilliant, thank you so much for sharing
Do you dry the husks before doing this?
No, they're easier to manuver while they're still wet. Adjust your doll's limbs how you'd like them- once dried, that's the shape they will stay in
