Straight to the point informational video. I used this one to removed the Dean Speed crash bars that came installed on the bike I own. I'll sell mine to anyone that wants 'em.
I want these, they look great compared to the other giant ones that look horrible! Thanks dude! Aloha from Kauai! Flying to Honolulu tomorrow to order my Bobber..:)
Not really worried about high speed crash protection because I figure I won’t be around to worry about it if I’m going fast enough but if I were to drop my bike at really slow speed would these stop the tank and fender from getting damaged?
Nice video. Kind of on the wire with the simple looks, but I guess they look better than the butterfly style. Do they provide longer bolts for the $260.00 price? Thanks Mike
Do you feel the couple of bolts that it uses is enough? I haven't seen these in person but it feels like if there were some bolts towards the top, it might have been more secure. They look good through.
I see what you mean. But they're on there really good. There wouldn't be anywhere else to add another one though. These sandwich between the frame and the foot controls in the same holes.
Nice video!! Im thinking of getting one. Its minimalist which i like. I see you just hand tight the screw, did the instructions say to torque it with such pounds?
Hey Ricky! Can you say something about the installation of the crash bars on custom forward-mounted controls on the Scout? I don't know if its possible to mount the protection guard with advanced footpegs.
Hi! I honestly don't know. My pegs are stock and in fact never seen any other mount in person. Wouldn't want to give you bad Info. However, I hear the Dean Speed Customs has a pretty small operation and you might even catch someone that has that answer on their Customer service line.
@@RickyBobber Thanks for replying so quick! It’s kind of hard getting a good looking crash bar without violating German law. I am not sure if Highway Bars are allowed here, but they definitely look better than most other aftermarket parts. I’ll treat her like my eyeball when she arrives and I want to be sure she won’t get damaged af when the worst case comes. Maybe my local dealership knows a fitting solution. I really enjoy your videos! Enjoy your ride and stay safe!

Still looking to sell them ?
@@kurtispena1462 thanks for asking. Someone local ended up buying them. Sorry!
All good bro ended up just buying it off the website
Really like that look. I’ve been back and forth on highway bars but don’t really like the look of the others. These keep the bobber look clean
I agree. The so-called butterfly bars are too bulky
Just installed mine a few minutes ago.. Thanks for the vid!! Much appreciated.
Awesome! Thanks
Just finished. Thanks for the video. I agree 2 people would have been easier but I figured it out. They look great on my Bobber.
Nice!
Looks so much better than the butterfly
I agree
But not as effective as well

That's awesome! Congrats!
I don’t even have a scout bobber and this was a cool video haha
Haha thanks Vrex, you're cool 😎
Those look sharp!! They look really good on the bike
Thanks man!
We just ordered these! Good video man
Awesome! Thank you for watching.
Hello friend) please tell me how long is this protection for a motorcycle?
I dont understand the question
What are the torque specs for putting the bolts back on?
It's been a while. Might have to get back to you on that
I Love this Indian! 😎
Meee toooo! 😄
Are there matching rear crash bars that are mat black. I have a 2022 Indian Scout Rogue black smoke that these would look amazing on. Great video
These ARE Matte Black
Man, that scout looks sharp. I may have to pull the trigger and get one.
Doooiiitt
How is the position for comfort? great video Rick.
I never use it to rest my legs if that's what you mean. The position doesn't seem natural for me.
These should fit no problem on my 2022 Indian Scout Rogue, correct?
Yes
Following the link I don’t see a space to enter the dicount code you attached.
@DJ Parkin supposed to be at checkout. I've seen it.
Not really worried about high speed crash protection because I figure I won’t be around to worry about it if I’m going fast enough but if I were to drop my bike at really slow speed would these stop the tank and fender from getting damaged?
Yes, this and the end of your handle bars
Good install man.
Thank you @countrycoder
Cool highway Pegs!
Thanks Mr Bucket!
Nice install video man!! Might have been a bit easier with two people, but looked like you had it handled.
Would have. But doable. Thanks for watching!!
MA MAN RICKY BOBBER!!!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
🤘🏼😆🤘🏼
What tires are on the bike! Great vid!
The 2021 comes with Pirelli's. Not sure of the exact model.
Will these fit a 2018?
2018 Scout Bobber. Yes
WEW! Price has increased considerably.
I love mine too!
I also love your scout 😄
Would you know if these fit the scout bobber sixty ?
Yes, it will
Nice video. Kind of on the wire with the simple looks, but I guess they look better than the butterfly style. Do they provide longer bolts for the $260.00 price?
Thanks
Mike
They actually didn't come with any bolts. The bolts in the Scout were already pretty long. Probably for this purpose. Funny, I hadn't thought of that.

Thanks! No instructions didn't say anything about torque specs.

@@RickyBobber thank you too!

It's already in the description. Thank you for watching
Sorry bro but those parts came on pairs or is $260 each???
No, good question. For the pair
@@RickyBobber thanks bro!!!
Love your bike name. Can I Steal it? 😁😁
Ha! Sure!
I bet on the highway that will feel pretty great putting your feet up on them.
Do you do that? I think it would take years for me to be comfortable enough to not be ready to break or shift immediately
@@RickyBobber Yep, I use my crash bar a lot once I’m on the highway. When I see traffic approaching, I switch to my kids if it’s touch and goes.
link pls! nice bike btw
It's in the description. Thanks!
First
Thanks for watching Mike. Even though you don't own a Scout (yet ;) )

They're charging around 360$ for this? What a load of crap. Dude's ripping people off and doesn't even provide the correct bolts.
These already saved my bike from getting messed up. I also had no issues with the bolts.
