Both of these are great American-made button locks, but they’re different enough that one might be more your speed than the other. The Malibu is more hyped, but the Mordax is impressive in its own right.

Not in my opinion, the pattern helps break up any chalkiness that I feel on a smooth Malibu.

I would choose the Mordax but you can't get either. Well maybe there are a couple Malibus out there?

for america’s best, put the mordax up against the vecp button lock, then u decide. i have.
ive heard great things about the VECP button lock. id love to get my hands on one but that’ll be a long shot since i’m unwilling to pay resale prices.
