Tip: If you have learned the plan for Medical Malpractice, craft a bunch of them as they have the Medic's prefix. Perfect for bolstering loose mods when the update hits.
@Pyrocy they mentioned that many of the named legendaries with set rolls won't be scrap-able. Only the rng ones. So, no hoarding Holy Fires to try and get Vamps, or Unstoppable Monsters for bloodied either.

My suspicion is they're not going to make any of this easy, so craft able legendaries, like the malpractice, which technically have 3 very desirable perks, just not necessarily on the same weapon, probably won't be scrappable to prevent us brute-forcing the system. So, I won't mention that you can't make non-legendaries legendary now, so if you want to try effects on a certain weapon, you'll need to find a legendary version of it in-game? Or that the chances of you getting a mod from scrapping is 1.5%, and a plan is 1%? So unless you're VERY lucky, you're going to need to scrap a LOT of decent gear that already has at least one of the effects you want in the vague hope you get a mod or plan? Or that, for quite a few of the top-tier effects, if you get a plan, you'll still need to grind for the rare RNG-dependent ingredients that you need, like an explosive bobblehead for the explosive perk, for example? Okey dokey! I'll not mention ANY of that. 😊
Also, on the current old servers, the creamator works crazy good with friendly fire, only one star is enough. With the slow burning effect it continues to heal for a long time and quickly heals your friends to max health. It might still be something extra with medic altough slow fireing.

I still think a vampire cremator with 1 point into friendly fire (and sharing it) heals faster, but it’s a decent option nonetheless. Bethesda should improve all the legendaries people don’t use, so this is appreciated 👍
I’ve always wished Mutants armor or weapons damage effect was stronger. It shouldn’t be a flat %. It should be a mix on your special stats. It should take your special stats and use some special math to work out some buff depending on how many points you have in each skill thru your mutations. Junkies should depend on which addictions you have. Berserker should literally be the glass cannon build. It should be 150% damage with no armor. Instigating should be +100% damage for the first 7 seconds or something. Furious should scale faster. Stalker needs to be removed from the game if it hasn’t already.
Concept: Medics could also have had an alternate effect where if you are downed and not dead, shooting a downed dweller a certain amount of times will revive them off the ground with 25% of their HP restored, however max HP of the revived player is reduced by half for 2 minutes and a half, and getting downed again during that time will instantly kill the player, just to keep it balanced.
That is worse than just respawning and getting all your health back. Why would anybody want that? If it didn't give you a health penalty, I'd be all for it though.
@AlainSiscan I think he meant that it will take more than one shot so you won't be getting as much of a return. Like 20 ammo to get back 30 instead of 10 ammo to get 30 on a single target.
I’m impressed it wasn’t a full health build because most of the buzz has been that this was going to be full health builds , or the end of bloody , respec every stage . Great job making the devs have to work overtime to tweak this in time.

Most stuff in the game was never intended to be there in such abundance including weapons and armor but because of the glitches, exploits and glitches from the early days we have access to everything we want and as much as we want. It was essentially ruined in the first couple of years and that’s exactly why new content is very quickly done with. It was never meant to be this way!

The RnG revamp is marginally better than we what we have now. I hope they get a lot of push back on how awful they have made the rates to learn things tomorrow when the update drops. The system itself is fantastic. I really like it. The 1% chance the learn is utterly bawked though.

They have put an end to groll trading with the new legacy crafting. I think they added red asylums to mutated packs. Now they are making a de facto currency worthless. They refuse to give us a real trading window. They hate players trading for anything other than caps.

It shouldn’t do as that was removed quite some time ago, for example an explosive vampire effect would heal twice, and hasn’t done so for along time now. So I don’t see explosives adding extra healing. I also remember in the past two shot explosive was adding lots of buffs (vampire, or crippling effects) that was also removed. So I would go for medics ffr pepper shaker with single barrel when the update is live.
finally! i have a bunch of really good medics weapons that ive been hanging on to for my powerful support/tank/vats build. edit: medics weapons with vats didn't even work half the time.
Oh lordy. Energy weapons are gonna be great for healing then since for most of them, there's the beta wave tuner mod which gives flame damage, so Friendly Fire will still play a factor as well. Medics EPR is about to be a meta gun I think

Been saving up modules and scrip these past few days. Also doing legendary hunters event, though I don't know if it ends today or tomorrow. Medics now seems to be a better overall effect, especially for supports. It'll be good on teammates fors bosses, escorts, and the nuke silos With all that being said, thank you Turtle for covering Fallout 76, and see you, in the next one......................
Aayy I was gonna go scrip some items an then tuned in to watch the video thank Godthat happened. I was lucky enough to come to my scrip mule and found a 2* medic flamer 25 speed and a medic grenade launcher limb damage 90 weight, lets goooooo!!!!🎉 Lol
I crafted several thousand legendaries today so I can scrap them tomorrow. I mainly focused on armor as I have good weapons already. I hope our odds aren't too bad to get the plans to craft the legendaries we want.
Cremator is the fuel version of the gattling gun whilst the Holy Fire is the minigun version. Want more fuel dropped for your flamer or Holy Fire then use the cremator for a while
So live love 3 becomes useless and backwoodsman 6 becomes the universal choice. I mean, I kind of get it but I think it's a really bad decision since there's already so few magazines that are useful. *edit* I love the change to Medic's though. It's nice to see it fill a role instead of being a sub-par vampire's.

You know where this would be useful? In the part of Vault 94 raid where you needed to keep the robots alive. Because grinding that raid was hard and gave real reqards. Now its too easy and boring. Don't care.
It's a strange thing to say. New Medics effect has a specific use case - healing NPCs as shown in the video, you are not gonna use it if you need high damage. Nocturnal doesn't have any use cause what so ever, because you can't control time of day in 76, so you better of with Aristocrat's, Junkie's or even better Anti-armor for damage
Angryturtle, I would say a medic gatling plasma could be better than the pepper shaker. It has a high fire rate, alot of ibullets and has a heavy punch against enemies. I.e. could both heal quickly and give high damage at the same time. Another possibilty could be the gauss minigun. But I guess we will know for sure tomorrow. 😅
Yet again Cremator over preforming because we weren't allowed to play with it on pts and the creators are complaining it's not how they wanted it. Maybe don't introduce new weapons by scoreboard so they can be tested and buffed or nerfed before releasing them to the public. Think they need to undo the nerfs to the cremator

It's an exploit that gives the player a tactical and strategic advantage over players who don't use the exploit. To say "XP farmers are going to run away and they are the ones who keep this game alive" is a very ignorant stance to have. The Amazon series brought a lot of folks to the game, every month they are giving away free Fallout games, there is new content every three months in 76. Yet, you think it's only the XP farmers...Which you can still XP farm without a damn exploit. Seriously, you're only upset because you won't be able to blitz the scoreboard in a week and then bugger off to a different game while waiting for the next weekly theme you like. If "XP farmers" are that much of an elitist, then maybe they should be pushed away.

@@tonygables626 Not gonna lie, it's annoying when people continuously blast their explosive weapons on a target when they can clearly see melee attackers up close. So, it kinda does effect the way some people want to play. To be fair, when in an event with others, I take my one shot and let others enjoy some XP as well. It's pretty toxic to wail on a critter with explosive ammo when you know you'll get the same xp either way.

What about Cremator with Medics?? I havent tested it, as my Vampires Cremator+"Friendly Fire" is still my current base setup in my PA Tank build.

So I don’t see explosives adding extra healing. I also remember in the past two shot explosive was adding lots of buffs (vampire, or crippling effects) that was also removed. So I would go for medics ffr pepper shaker with single barrel when the update is live.

finally! i have a bunch of really good medics weapons that ive been hanging on to for my powerful support/tank/vats build.
edit: medics weapons with vats didn't even work half the time.
Rolled a Medics/Dwa/Reload Holy Fire two Days ago so i am pretty happy😁
When I was heavy into trading I stockpiled good medic's rolls because I was convinced it would one day be top tier. Only took 5 years.

I don't even use tenderizer on my heavy weapons build and the enemies in the expeditions still die in one second or so .

Oh lordy. Energy weapons are gonna be great for healing then since for most of them, there's the beta wave tuner mod which gives flame damage, so Friendly Fire will still play a factor as well. Medics EPR is about to be a meta gun I think

LL3 is NOT a Nerf, it's a fix. It will now do what it is supposed to do. People whining about not being invincible do my head in. The game is too easy and already full of WestTek XP farmers, sitting at high levels but with absolutely no idea how to do events, just firing a Cremator or a Nuka Launcher at everything .

someone tell me that the chance to get a module from destroying legendary items is 1/1000 and that`s better to craft your own module, so now you need x-cell to craft some modules, i dont know is that is true or not
This is going to turn some guns that many have labeled "crap" into must haves moving forward.
Been saving up modules and scrip these past few days. Also doing legendary hunters event, though I don't know if it ends today or tomorrow.
Medics now seems to be a better overall effect, especially for supports. It'll be good on teammates fors bosses, escorts, and the nuke silos

Aayy I was gonna go scrip some items an then tuned in to watch the video thank Godthat happened. I was lucky enough to come to my scrip mule and found a 2* medic flamer 25 speed and a medic grenade launcher limb damage 90 weight, lets goooooo!!!!🎉 Lol
I crafted several thousand legendaries today so I can scrap them tomorrow. I mainly focused on armor as I have good weapons already. I hope our odds aren't too bad to get the plans to craft the legendaries we want.

Well you can only get it doing a caravan quest line which requires you to first have supplies to employ Theodore. No caravan=no supplies=no Theodore
RIP cremator sensational game runs :( When I switched from HF to cremator I went just as fast or faster but got +2k fuel per run
Cremator is the fuel version of the gattling gun whilst the Holy Fire is the minigun version. Want more fuel dropped for your flamer or Holy Fire then use the cremator for a while
So live love 3 becomes useless and backwoodsman 6 becomes the universal choice.
I mean, I kind of get it but I think it's a really bad decision since there's already so few magazines that are useful.
*edit* I love the change to Medic's though. It's nice to see it fill a role instead of being a sub-par vampire's.

You know where this would be useful? In the part of Vault 94 raid where you needed to keep the robots alive. Because grinding that raid was hard and gave real reqards. Now its too easy and boring. Don't care.
Nocturnal is better. I'd rather have 50% damage half of the time than an effect that I never use.
It's a strange thing to say. New Medics effect has a specific use case - healing NPCs as shown in the video, you are not gonna use it if you need high damage. Nocturnal doesn't have any use cause what so ever, because you can't control time of day in 76, so you better of with Aristocrat's, Junkie's or even better Anti-armor for damage

Angryturtle, I would say a medic gatling plasma could be better than the pepper shaker. It has a high fire rate, alot of ibullets and has a heavy punch against enemies. I.e. could both heal quickly and give high damage at the same time. Another possibilty could be the gauss minigun. But I guess we will know for sure tomorrow. 😅

Yet again Cremator over preforming because we weren't allowed to play with it on pts and the creators are complaining it's not how they wanted it. Maybe don't introduce new weapons by scoreboard so they can be tested and buffed or nerfed before releasing them to the public. Think they need to undo the nerfs to the cremator
But how else do you make characters get weapons it always has to be through scoreboard or repeatable grind and never just a fun quest.
I feel like either some will accidentally switch to a medic’s weapon and heal an enemy or troll everyone by healing them like your fighting Earl or SBQ
medics doesnt effect enemies otherwise turtle couldnt kill the honeybeasts with the same weapon he healed the brahmin in the video you just watched.

It's an exploit that gives the player a tactical and strategic advantage over players who don't use the exploit. To say "XP farmers are going to run away and they are the ones who keep this game alive" is a very ignorant stance to have. The Amazon series brought a lot of folks to the game, every month they are giving away free Fallout games, there is new content every three months in 76. Yet, you think it's only the XP farmers...Which you can still XP farm without a damn exploit. Seriously, you're only upset because you won't be able to blitz the scoreboard in a week and then bugger off to a different game while waiting for the next weekly theme you like. If "XP farmers" are that much of an elitist, then maybe they should be pushed away.

@@tonygables626 Not gonna lie, it's annoying when people continuously blast their explosive weapons on a target when they can clearly see melee attackers up close. So, it kinda does effect the way some people want to play.
To be fair, when in an event with others, I take my one shot and let others enjoy some XP as well. It's pretty toxic to wail on a critter with explosive ammo when you know you'll get the same xp either way.
