I've seen camps with their garden under lock and key lol. They are so afraid someone will steal their tatos. The only thing I have locked in my camp is the material extractor.
I put a sign up that says, if it isn't locked, it's free... Occasionaly i'll lock the Nuka Collectron, because i'm trying to get quantums for gernades, that's about it...
I leave most of mine unlocked for people who visit. I have my holiday camp set up with the santatron right next to santas throne so visitors can grab presents
Less an unwritten rule and more a protip for less experienced players: If another person in your party, or during an event, keeps shooting you with a fire based weapon then they probably have the "Friendly Fire" perk and are trying to heal you. This can also be true for weapons with the "Medics" one star but I feel like fire is much easier to notice.
Good point. Got kicked off some newbie-team, when I did this to a team member, while he was low health during an event. They thought I want to troll them or something and kicked me out.
I mostly run with a two-shot cremator, all the explosive/grenade perks and Friendly Fire 3. Great for escort missions like Lode Bearing, one shot both eliminates the enemies and revives both team and NPCs/miners.
@@AGiantRoach I have the friendly fire perk shared just in case someone on the team has a fire weapon (shishkebob and flaming chainsaw also work with friendly fire btw) and wants to help with the healing
THIS is the way. I often take that 5 minute window to grab food or a bathroom break. I totally understand people's desire to get it going, but I don't know if each player is capable or just eager
I didn’t know that’s how it worked. Usually I just join when it pops up and start fighting robots til it’s over. As a newer player, it’s kinda that way with most of the events. Like I’ve just had to kinda feel it out and hope that I’m helping. Usually if there’s an objective where you need to interact with something, I’ll wait for someone else to do it because I’m scared of pissing people off. There’s been a few times where I’ve waited with other people until the timer ran out because nobody would press the button or talk to the npc or whatever.
@@SOLIDaegis i would say for most events just wait untill 4-5 player show up and then you can start. There're players that like to join late to an event to save ammo (?) or something so no need for waiting too long :D But thats not the case for the Encryptid event because to start the countdown you have to pay with an item that costs materials and caps. So only the dude who payed for it should start it.
@adamblake963 you're not wrong about it being aa feeling out process: anytime there's a player triggered start for something, like Encrypted, I give a thumbs up and wait for replies: if 3 others are ready, I'm ready... unless it's solo-able A good example of such a sticky situation is eviction notice: from fast travel, if you move, it starts the countdown. Even getting into power armor can do it. And it's a short timer, and you want those meatt bags gone asap. Hard to blame anyone for rushing to it, either on purpose or not. I keep in mind the age range of f76 players is quite vast and we all have different time budgets, so in short: I'd rather 3 of us eat a cake so sloppily we didn't even taste it than 12 of us stare at a stale cake
@TRVN420 cry about it nerd I love doing that, I love it most when they start emoting and shooting me and sometimes even sending me messages, it isn’t that deep it’s a game.
A couple more: 1) Don't start events as soon as you arrive. Some like Tea Time are okay as people will just join as it goes, but events like Colossal Problem and Eviction Notice, wait around for a couple of minutes for more people to turn up. 2) If you're a low level player and get approached by a high level player, they're probably trying to give you free stuff. I do this all the time and the number of people that run off because they either don't understand or think you're gonna bully/rob them 🤬 It then becomes catch 22 as you chase after them to try and help them and the more you follow them, the more they think you're a weirdo. 😂
@@elbubsio4947 😂 this happened to me the other day. I was trying to gift a low level player a fixer plan and he kept moving away from me. Eventually I just picked it back up off the ground to gift to someone else. I definitely felt like a weirdo after that.
I starts events ride away so I don't get the crowd of noobs and their grenades, launchers and diverse tagging weaps. We all get the notification at the same time anyways...
If you are not the one who started Encryptid, then DO NOT go to the terminal and recall the robot. Also on lunchboxes, use them before or at the start of the event, not when it's done.
I put my spooky candy bowl in the middle of a clear area oh my camp. Totally visible immediately… some trashy camps full of cr@p make it impossible to find.
Thanks for the video. One thing I'd add is to warn people not to waste lunchboxes. I've seen many events when newbies don't seem to know that they only stack up to 4, and 8 or 9 are opened, wasting their valuable lunchboxes.
Radiation Rumble requires players to collect radiated ultacite ore that are in the 4 corners and deposit it in the center. It will raise the level and the higher the bigger enemies start spawning. Rad-X and Radaway is useful.
Using a radiation suit also works but the best thing is the Chinese stealth armor - you can crouch and sneak around the enemies that spawn if you need to. With Radiation Rumble, another thing is keeping the NPC's alive. It's really irritating when there's 10 players at an event but it still fails because I'm the only one trying to keep the NPCs alive. (I have a medic's thirst zapper that is perfect for this. It's great for test your metal and the caravans too.)
@@cynforgiven1221 Two-shot cremator, Friendly Fire 3, explosive buffs and perks. It's a bit slower waiting for the DOT to kill enemies, but it also let's others tag the enemies.
I recently hatched from Vault 76, am a humble level 12 Vaultboy, and still don't dare visit other players' camps for fear of unintentionally misbehaving, especially if I unexpectedly find myself facing a level 300+ player. The same applies to emotes. Maybe a player could misunderstand my gesture. In any case, your video reduced my social anxiety by up to 74%.
If you haven't already go into the options and enable "pacifist mode." Basically turns off PVP so you can't accidentally shoot a high level player. Most folks are cool about it anyway but it will give you some peace of mind. Don't be afraid of higher level players CAMPs. Vendors are very useful to get items that are harder to obtain, plus a lot of higher level players intentionally leave resource generators unlocked so folks that need water or food can have it. Usual courtesy is if people place things unlocked close to their vendor then they are open to sharing, especially with low level players. Just don't ever pick any locks in someone's camp.
Don't even worry about it. Other than lockpocking someone's items you shouldn't be causing anyone problems. Also the fo76 community is usually very friendly to new players. There's almost kind of a pay it forward mentality because many of received help and free items from other people when we were new.
I made it to lvl 103 before another player killed me. Pretty sure only children do that like in ark. I always got high lvl players stoping by and dropping things when i first started. I always check 76 on the map to see if there is a new player around to open a lunch box.
10: DO NOT START EVICTION NOTICE RIGHT AWAY. Spawn in, see how much time you have to spare. Stay out of the camp. It will start the timer to find the scrubber. If you start that timer, don’t immediately run to “fix” the scrubber. That starts the “bags” timer. You need to give people time to spawn in. A couple of minutes can make the difference between success and failure.
4:00 - Also, if some of you have newbie-friends in this game, tell them, that it is nonsense and just a waste of lunch boxes, when they open more lunch boxes, after 4 already were opened. I see this so many times, when other players open like 6 or 8 lunch boxes, just to be "cool" but they are basically wasting it. 4 is enough. Keep them for later events, for benefiting more from it. There will be no more benefits, if you open more than 4.
A quick note about vendors in shelters. Vendors in your shelter do NOT trigger the icon for vendors on the map. So, this is a bad choice on multiple levels.
Radiation Rumble - if you stand at the end of the tunnel trying to get kills first you are actually killing the spawn rate.!! you stand in the middle, take a tagging weapon tesla rifle is good, you will have so much xp you wont know what to do with it.
Or... and just hear me out.... don't worry about how other people choose to play in events and focus on yourself instead. That's pretty cool, right? Some people don't have 'tagging' weapons or want to play your way.
@@BookieSwish I have multiple builds but am using melee atm. I do keep tagging and scorchbeast disabling weapons on my character, though. I just loathe when people know full well they wanna roast the enemies themselves but blame everybody else for wanting to get in on some xp, too.
@@williamhutton2126 how about nnnnnoooooo, im trying to help people who obvious think they are getting the most xp but have no idea how that event works.. it selfish and ignorant and not considering the rest of the people playing a multiplayer game.lets think about the majority not the minority..how cool is that right?
@@-Lucky-Six- Welcome to MMOs. You'll figure them out. Eventually. Maybe? I doubt it. I guess it's hard for someone that's never touched grass to comprehend the concept of other people wanting to play a game they pay for in the way they want to play it instead of wanting to play it your way. Also, it has literally zero effect on the spawn rate.
The vendor being more clear cannnot be stated enough too many times have i went to a place looking for the vendor and they use the tiny cash register crap and put it in a corner, or personal issue maybe others too im not a FO1 member so i dont know what the "exclusive" vendor bots look like yea the red robot with trench coat is cool but dont put it in a hidden ish spot because its a "shady dealer"
On my primary character, I have the red robot vendor standing under a street light at the corner of my red rocket garage. Looks really shady across the street from my Responder Quonset hut field station. =)
I follow all of these rules HOWEVER yesterday I encountered a level 1000+ walking around with a bounty on his head with junk on him that had to be well worth 10k caps. I took that as life giving me lemons as I had been struggling with mats for awhile since I love building camps so much and really needed the boost. If you're going to be a cocky 1000 level player with all his camp Junk in his inventory with a bounty on your head it's on you IMO
Also, stop placing your damn camps on cliffs or floating. If I have to load onto a player built item to access your camp the likely hood of it not loading in time and me falling to my death are high. Stop doing this. Also stop putting your venders in your super cool out of the map bases. I don't want to hunt down your sympt-o-matic, or whatever other method you have to phase through the ground or into a house, just to get to your vender.
Guilty of cliff camp just outside of Wes-Tek. No worries, though - I was atop someone's glitched floating cloud camp and he logged out while I was perusing his vendor. It was a looooong way down.
There was one time after a scorched earth where a lvl 38 had died right after and i tried to cover his loot bag by crouching on it but a lvl 1000 came by and grabbed it. For about an hour or so I spent my time at her camp buying 1 ammo at a time at first they tried denying it but got mad and said who cares they shouldn't have died. They tried deactivating their camp so I waited crouched bout 5 mins (made a sandwich during that) came back they replaced it just turned off the icon as if that was gonna help they left the server bout two minutes later. Ended up giving the lvl 38 10 of each Flux just to help him out some.
@@williamhutton2126 why? I give people super valuable stuff all the time just to help out. I barely use flux anymore. Also, have had someone drop me 200 violet just for reviving them
A new unwritten rule, do optional objectives at events. As of the last update, completing these grants additional Legendary Modules. If you're not repairing the extractors at Uranium Fever or you're the dipshit with the Railway Rifle that murders the Nightstalker the second it spawns, you're costing EVERYONE modules.
I've joined a radiation rumble and NO ONE was collecting the uranium samples and barely keeping the npcs alive i gave up and just shot my cremator in the halls to tag enemies and heal the npcs
This needs to be hammered home with all players. I'm tired of everyone just sitting on a high point and just shooting everything while not helping out at all.
Unequip your weapon when the Nightstalker spawns. It counts for the optional objective of killing the Nightstalker unarmed even if you didn't hit him. You just have to be unarmed when the Nightstalker dies to get the extra modules and the other rewards like the special beer or the Nailer legendary weapon.
With the first rules. Players spawn about 6 floor tiles north of where you first place your camp. You can change it a little after but generally players always spawn north from your camp module. So please don't make me walk around a cliff to visit your vendor. An efficient camp ideally has a spawn point facing two vendor machines. You can test it by fast travelling while close to your base. If you fast travel from far away to your base you will spawn in at a different location but this is just you, other players will always spawn in at the closer point.
Walking around a cliff is fine honestly, its the people who have their camps ON cliffs or floating and expect you to load onto a foundation or something play placed. The issue is this game sucks in that regard, and 90% of the time that floor peice isnt going to load in time causing the person to fall and either be very inconvenienced or even die. Stop doing this.
There are often times I'll fast travel to a camp and wind up inside a foundation or other piece of the camp. Fast travelling to the camp again usually frees me.
@@tomc5435 as I say, for your own camp you have two spawn points. One for spawning from far away and one for spawning from close by. Other players are travelling to your camp will use the latter spawn points, the one that you travel to when travelling from nearby.
"Some people will just straight up leave..." Not all. One time I was shoppin' a guy literally just spawned in,no waiting, was there maybe 40secs and just started hitting and shooting me. So,I stayed longer. Waited until he left. Some people have the mind and patience of a 2yr old.
Today I just tried to get one person to eat candy out of my trick-or-treat Bowl all I needed was one and I showed him where it was and he gave me a thumbs down. I'm like what the heck? Luckily someone else came to my camp. I don't understand why people are like that. I guess that's why I pretty much play solo
that is the worst challenge ever. leaving it to chance that someone will come along and take candy from your bowl is an asinine mechanic. my main camp is in Skyline Valley and is rarely visited by others.
@@leehelck4606 yeah I think when people go trick or treating the five times then they don't bother. Every time I go to a camp look at a vendor I still take from the bowl thinking that they might need it. Wasn't the last year we had to have five people come to the camp? I'm sure it was five and then they lowered it to one.
@@williamhutton2126 I read that on EN if you let the mutants get closer to the scrubber they have a higher chance of becoming legendaries. Also, if you're camping there you're not letting anybody else tag.
@@MartinLaplace You read wrong. And if someone is camping, they are parked. It isn't stopping anyone else from tagging. Also, melee builds exist. Maybe they want a crack at some xp, too? I tag enemies just fine when people are camping in the spawn points. Not everyone plays the way you do or has the builds, weapons or time.
FO76 has a mostly great community and the changes the game underwent show that. Many of the troling/griefing mechanics of the early days are gone. I found some ppl in this game I play with occasionally and one i play with every weekend despite living in 6.000 km away from each other.
I saw a team of players spamming mini nukes at all events so i nuked the camp they were all using lmao. Prob not worth it but it felt good pressing the button
Long before the Wastelanders upgrade, a lot of nukes were targeting Whitespring Golf Club. There was a team that was one shot killing the glowing ones, didn't stand a chance of getting anything. So I held back and followed them to one of the players' home. I sent 10 orbital strikes against it. I know repairing the home doesn't cost anything, it just felt good watching those strikes come in. If this was GTA, I would have had 5 stars. I logged out and came back to another server, walked up to a low level player and through my headset I told him to kill me. Let him collect the bounty than those other guys.
9) do not start public events early. You might think you're Billy Badass, but other people need to grind too. 10) Keep the hallways of Rad Rumble clear. It nerfs the spawn rate of the mob spawns if you camp them. 11) don't melt the summoned bosses if it ain't your nuke. Period. 12) don't hi-jack silos. 13) This one is for the freshies. Don't beg high levels (1k+) for free stuff. Especially rare and hard to acquire items. That's a good way to get blocked. That's all I can think of off the top of my head to add.
9) It's on you to make an effort to get yourself into public events. I'm definitely not gonna wait on you. 10) Or, just let people play their own way. The reason YOU want to keep it clear is to have a clear shot at roasting the hordes before someone else, which is why people clog the the hallway. 11) Once you release the nuke, your claim is done. Just get to the event and have fun. 12) There is no such thing. If you made it through, you have a claim.
you get extra bonuses if you open more than 4 lunch boxes. Also the low level player who is invisiable that follows you around and then waits until you try to claim a workshop , then immediatly executes you with the auto axe from behind {you know who you are}. I will find you...
That's happened to me a few times. I wasn't even farming materials I just needed space to make blueprints truly crappy people that do that. And from behind to boot.
For bloodied build rad generation, carry a gamma gun with you, very fast rad gen, no matter if theres decon shower, no need for camp smelter, weighs lot less than toxic goo. If get quad even better and faster
High levels are usually just trying to help and don’t want anything in return. That includes having you as part of our teams so you can syphon exp through us and after events we sometimes drop our event completion rewards for you if we don’t want them

I've started just collecting the excess gulper acid after the event and throwing 30 pieces into my freezer. There's a Stash box at the office so very easy to start the event by dropping the frozen acid into the tub. Still a PITA when the snipers kill everything 3000 metres from the stills.

My Unwritten rule as a higher level player who helps low level players with caps ,camp items, and weapons/ammo. Respect vendor notes (like please only buy 1 or for low level players) and pricing such as only buying 1 set of cheap plans at a low cost vendor. They want to help everyone, not just your pockets for scalping their plans. example you see 4 vintage water cooler plans or mothman tomes in one camp for under 5000 caps. only buy 1 so other can have opportunity at the same deal.
I always acknowledge the guy that does the dirty work, i.e. herding brahmins in Free Range or collect ores in Radiation Rumble. If you see me giving thumbs up or heart in the middle of the event seemingly randomly, that's me.
Radiation Rumble: The idiot (🤡) in the hazmat suit, down in the flooded rooms, collecting the ores? Mostly it's me! And often the only thumbs visible in Emmett Mountain are the brown ones after the grenade launcher guys and "fat men" pulled theirs out of their own dark side of the moon!!......🤷
Now that I have What Rads fully loaded, I just take a Radshield and try to remember to go through the Rad scrubber between dives (also a good location for Brain Fungus for my Brain Bombs).
Fr if I cant find your vendor in less than 5sec I am out and you are missing out cause I hit the cap and go to any lucky store and buy almost all you got
9. Test the quick travel to your camps from a few locations. It becomes endlessly annoying to end up being trapped in the floor of a camp because people just slap down their camp device anywhere and don’t care to check where people will end up when they try to hide it out of sight. Doesn’t take much effort if your going to spend a lot of time of a proper build. Travel from Whitespring and a few other of the free travel points to see how players will be affected when they arrive. Lost count how many camps I’ve decided not to spend caps at because they don’t do such a basic thing.
I would appreciate people either removing their vendor map icon or storing their vendor if they are at max caps. I know you cant always get to it in time, but its really annoying to travel to the far end of the map to check out your vendor, only for it to be pulled the moment you get there.
Dont use nukes on a camp if you get pissy. You just took one of the 3 nukes available on the map to start events from everyone. Camps can be moved, people have multiple camps, and they can leave the map, you cant stop the nuke after sent.
Even at level 150 amd not a 1st member. I still sell everything as I've always done. 40 to 50% off with lots of freebies. 1, 2, amd 3 star weapons/armor as well. I just dislike it when they take everything and don't at least grab a candy from the spooky bowl😂
Heres another unwritten rule...dont put your vendor in a shelter. No one, and I mean no one, wants to go through a second loading screen to find you are sellong 30,000 5m ammo, 300 mounted head plans and 1000 mr fuzzy tokens.
I have a rad scrubber in front of my door, but on a switch so you can use it or not. One rule I wish would be adopted is to close the damn door when you leave. Just because it's a wasteland doesn't mean you don't need manners.
i hide my vending machine in a corner so that it shows on the map what im selling, because my vending machine is actually inside of my shelter. and yknow i actually have a ton of arrows and signs that point directly to my shelter entrance.
A pro tip for expensive to repair stuff like fusion gen or decontamination ahower place it on a flip spike trap it will only cost the wood and maybe a steel instead of everything else
I try my best to be good and helpful to all players. BUT .. Sometimes you just get the real undesirables That make you want to take a time out or not. And i do everything you stated. It's supposed to fun not dread.
It's usually faster to die and spawn back in, than wait to get revived. I only wait if there are low level players who might need their medics badge. Otherwise, just pls die and get back in the fight. It won't cost you anything in an event.
9. Close the f'n door! If visiting someones camp and you open doors, please ffs close them again behind you. Might just be me but this is irritating as fk 😅
I had one guy with a rad scrubber. And he was only selling mutated serum. Like what a clown. Had he of been less sketchy at the time I would of happily bought a ton. I didn't
i don't even use the rad scrubber (or whatever it's called). once you have the What Rads legendary perk it becomes useless. whenever i see them at other players' camps i avoid them even though i'm a full health build. they freak me out and make me paranoid that i will lose my mutations (even though i have Starched Genes and Class Freak) lol.
I don't always have What Rads in my loadout. I leave the rad scrubber in my camp for folks who might ned it, like the Pemmican, Mirelurk and Deathclaw resource generators (I'm Herbivore) Only wish I could find the Mothman nest and Birthday cake for the collection.
After update 1.97 distance markers for teammates are gone and some challenges like collecting wood 0/20 won’t work. I guess Bethesda simply doesn’t care at all, no game tester is so blind or incompetence that these things are overlooked and not get fixed before they release new updates which screws the game further as it was already screwed.
I can do violent night myself on private sever. I am a high enough player that I am able to. All great points BTW. I remember starting off as a new player I was constantly dying which in return had my loot taken. I learned quickly and nipped that in the butt. lol.
9_1. Dont shoot the sheepsquach or light the beacons if you cant take the damage he deals, all you are doing is prolonging the event by dying. I run 10 to 15 encrypted nightly and can complete it in under 3 minutes with only 2 players wearing troubleshooters.
Damn! I keep forgetting I've made a Troubleshooters' Union set (for the coming Raids). I tend to jump on the antenna of one of the beacons until it's time then hop down and activate.
A new unwritten rule should be....don't have a vendor if you don't want people to shop. So many times I go to a vendor, the camp disappears. The rad scrubber is annoying, but you can turn it off. I have before. As far as the loot bag, how do you know they died and didn't just drop it? Especially if it's junk.
Some people use their other camps as fast travel anchors for areas that either don't have a free travel zone. Chances are those people swapped camps, fast traveled, and as soon as their business is finished will put their house back where it was. As for loot bags if you look in the Atom shop at the loot bags you'll see there are two options when selecting them, Drop bags and Death bags. My drop bag currently is the flaming paper bag, meanwhile what I drop when I die is a gravestone, so people can tell the difference at a glance what was dropped item, and what was a death item
I always see "veteran" players start events early. Rarely do I see low level players do it. The higher level players are always in a rush to move on to the next event, so they blitz everything.
I agree with both points honestly. Expect the event to start early, but do also try to wait with starting more popular/difficult events (think Eviction Notice, Radiation Rumble).

Another optional rule: If you see either a melee user, or a low level player don't melt every enemy before they can even react. It takes time for someone to sprint over and bonk that scorched with their golf club, waiting a few seconds before erasing something is the difference between a tag, and a happy to contribute player or someone who felt like they may as well not even go to public events
You might find this funny, but some events will complete without anyone doing anything at all. Lode Bearing for instance you can start and walk out of the room to make a sandwich and still have the event succeed
Oh ha, I dont care about 1-3 (im a bloodied build, and enjoy good looking camps instead of whatever people without time consider their camp...), 4 dont care I use mic, 5-6 & 8 thats some how important-most people want to enjoy events especially. 7 i dont care (I never pick up other players loot). Someone needs to get off the internet. It's causing severe butthurt. There's a cure though: Let people play the game they paid for their own way. You have access to a private world and, from all that obvious rizz, a ton of friends to join you and play by your rules.
My rule is at player camps, if your resources are unlocked, dont get mad when someone takes all of it
I've seen camps with their garden under lock and key lol. They are so afraid someone will steal their tatos. The only thing I have locked in my camp is the material extractor.
Some people cry when you lock your resources. It's a no win.
I leave all of mine unlocked. If someone needs it they can have it. Besides if they want it that bad they’ll pick the lock anyway.
Also Test your Metal!

There're players that like to join late to an event to save ammo (?) or something so no need for waiting too long :D
But thats not the case for the Encryptid event because to start the countdown you have to pay with an item that costs materials and caps.
So only the dude who payed for it should start it.
@adamblake963 you're not wrong about it being aa feeling out process: anytime there's a player triggered start for something, like Encrypted, I give a thumbs up and wait for replies: if 3 others are ready, I'm ready... unless it's solo-able
A good example of such a sticky situation is eviction notice: from fast travel, if you move, it starts the countdown.

A couple more:
1) Don't start events as soon as you arrive.

What you said about vendors also goes for mystery candy bowls. They are way smaller than vendors and thus harder to spot.
I know! I've had a hard time finding some people's candy bowls. Best practice would be either to illuminate it, or put it near where players spawn in.

Another tip/rule: wait until there is enough people loaded in before starting an event.
Maybe a little chaotic, but I like to rob from high-level bases and drop the stuff in front of vault 76....

I'm tired of everyone just sitting on a high point and just shooting everything while not helping out at all.
thank ýou sir
Unequip your weapon when the Nightstalker spawns. It counts for the optional objective of killing the Nightstalker unarmed even if you didn't hit him. You just have to be unarmed when the Nightstalker dies to get the extra modules and the other rewards like the special beer or the Nailer legendary weapon.
Sadly some are difficult to complete (One Violent Night is a good example), but it doesn't hurt trying!

I always acknowledge the guy that does the dirty work, i.e. herding brahmins in Free Range or collect ores in Radiation Rumble. If you see me giving thumbs up or heart in the middle of the event seemingly randomly, that's me.
If you build under the ground (good luck in the future) you should shut off your vendor, shelter, camp icon. I will not go in.

Now that I have What Rads fully loaded, I just take a Radshield and try to remember to go through the Rad scrubber between dives (also a good location for Brain Fungus for my Brain Bombs).
Was doing radiation rumble a few days ago and all I could see were explosions and electricity bouncing everywhere. It was so hard to see anything.
This is why people clog the hallways. It allows them to actually get some experience for their efforts.

As a avid camp builder i always give a thumbs up if the camp owner is about and its good. And honestly, most of these i do! 🤘
If you're close to your caps limit-switch to a camp without a vendor or that 15K fixer earned you nothing!
I personally will never enter a strangers shelter. Every wise person in the game will do the same. It is to likely to be a trap.
@@MrMunchman69 understandable
And ya know no one wants to go through a second loading screen to see what useless junk you are selling. Just sayin'
Also me
@@skullgrin837 This irritates me too but I noticed my ally leaves my doors open more than anyone 😆🙄
My Rad Scrubber is connected to a switch right next to it. I can often tell when I've had a visitor.
@@Liz-nq9rc I lock them in the attic (Mothman worshipping guy) so they can't wander about doing this 😂
I had one guy with a rad scrubber. And he was only selling mutated serum. Like what a clown. Had he of been less sketchy at the time I would of happily bought a ton. I didn't
Those are the people where you loot everything you can from their camp, whether you need it or not, and vendor all their crops and stuff.
Very good tips!!!
I like to make sure I carry the heaviest junk aroud so all the junk theives are stuck in place till they drop the loot.
Multiple level 1000+ stole my scrap after dying in events. 3 aluminum and 2 steel, really bro?
i don't even use the rad scrubber (or whatever it's called). once you have the What Rads legendary perk it becomes useless. whenever i see them at other players' camps i avoid them even though i'm a full health build. they freak me out and make me paranoid that i will lose my mutations (even though i have Starched Genes and Class Freak) lol.
I don't always have What Rads in my loadout. I leave the rad scrubber in my camp for folks who might ned it, like the Pemmican, Mirelurk and Deathclaw resource generators (I'm Herbivore) Only wish I could find the Mothman nest and Birthday cake for the collection.
Oh - I did manage to wipe my mutations once before I realised I needed to put Starched Genes in ALL my loadouts (Because I'm forgetful!)
Level 1000 club gives each other a wave. The newer members of the club don't seem to know this😅
I can do violent night myself on private sever. I am a high enough player that I am able to. All great points BTW. I remember starting off as a new player I was constantly dying which in return had my loot taken. I learned quickly and nipped that in the butt. lol.
Don't use Nuka Launcher or Fatman in Eviction Notice
Do not start events early. I hve seen it mainly with newer players who will start an event with several minutes left on the timer.
No, the rule is: if you want to take part in an event get there now, don't fanny around and expect everyone else to wait for you.
I always see "veteran" players start events early. Rarely do I see low level players do it. The higher level players are always in a rush to move on to the next event, so they blitz everything.
i had sooo much fun watching a 128lvl getting baked who had started test ýour metal ALONE 😄
I agree with both points honestly. Expect the event to start early, but do also try to wait with starting more popular/difficult events (think Eviction Notice, Radiation Rumble).
@@edwardkenworthy7013 the people that take a moment are maybe grabbing a lunchbox to share, XP food, armoring up, or otherwise _dropping what they're currently doing to help you_ . Don't be impatient, there's a timer for a reason. If you can't wait a few minutes, maybe _you_ should be doing something else instead.
a rad scrubber at the door is the best way to prevent unwanted people out
Seems a little build racist to me
Rad scrubber will also take away mutations if you dont have perks on...learned this hard way..didnt even think when at a camp.one time walked through a door that had one lost several mutations...

My vendors make sense with my theme, so if there should be a register, thats where it will be. If I'm going more techy i have my vendor bots as guards.
I don't really need caps, so if someone is too impatient, then so be it

Law of the wasteland.
Another optional rule:
If you see either a melee user, or a low level player don't melt every enemy before they can even react.
It takes time for someone to sprint over and bonk that scorched with their golf club, waiting a few seconds before erasing something is the difference between a tag, and a happy to contribute player or someone who felt like they may as well not even go to public events
DON’T AUTO AXE EARL!!!!!!
i hate campers/afk at events and did nothing for winning free rewards 🤬
You might find this funny, but some events will complete without anyone doing anything at all.
Lode Bearing for instance you can start and walk out of the room to make a sandwich and still have the event succeed
Oh ha, I dont care about 1-3 (im a bloodied build, and enjoy good looking camps instead of whatever people without time consider their camp...), 4 dont care I use mic, 5-6 & 8 thats some how important-most people want to enjoy events especially. 7 i dont care (I never pick up other players loot). Didnt know that a computergame has unwritten rules. I think people should enjoy it the way they like ;) So try pvp, build camps u like without ugly navigation signs, help others or be the lone wolf --> There are so many servers and private server are also an option. What I think is best, get people/other player who have the same playstyle. Just my opinion.
Stop standing in front of me. That's so fricken annoying.

His commando build was nothing for my bloodied strangler heart build which is all sentinel assassin's and i use a assassin's explosive gauss mini gun. He folded over and over again. How about "Not making videos cataloguing UNWRITTEN rules"? It kinda defeats the purpose of them being unwritten and makes them explicit.
Well said. In due time, we all got to learn the rules of the wasteland. Live and learn. And die sometimes
If you play like this guy shooting one bullet to tag without killing anything, uninstall. Maybe try another game? Like, knitting.
I tag all the time because it allows other players to do the same and get credit for the kill. It’s called teamwork. Knitting doesn’t require teamwork so maybe you should try it since you obviously don’t understand the concept.
@@vicariousjohnson9823 sounds like you need to get gud, guy. Your teammates are picking up all your slack, wasting way more resources &maybe even dying, because you’re useless.
Someone needs to get off the internet. It's causing severe butthurt. There's a cure though: Let people play the game they paid for their own way. You have access to a private world and, from all that obvious rizz, a ton of friends to join you and play by your rules.
