Used to think the equivalent forza was better. In some ways I think it is. But this soundtrack, the car choices, the effort and thought that went into this game amongst the other gt titles, makes me think otherwise.

This has to be the best showroom of the gt games it's so elegant makes me genuinely feel like I'm purchasing a car at a fancy dealership it physically feels as if you are there in person walking around the car and reading the history and specs of the car.

I came here to tell you one thing. I played this game back in the days where I was in my first school in 1 class. Yesterday I came across this video and I started the game almost a decade later again. I'm starting again from zero. This game was the reason I fell in love with cars and racing history. Thank you for this video as a reminder of the best game ever made.

GRAN TURISMO 5, 12 years after its release still a legendary game. Even Coco Hayashi (Setsuna Yuki's new VA) also love GRAN TURISMO 5 so much! Her favourite car undoubtedly is the XANAVI NISMO Z!

I hate that no other racing game gives me information about the car like grand turismo 5, the buying a car experience was phenomenal, it felt like a real dealership and was fun reading information, the trophies where so well done, they had their own car standard and the tracks where fun. The music itself was good there where a bit tracks I didn't enjoy but most tracks I loved and arcade was alot of fun too i loved cruising down the city straight at night in my audi r8 ! Photo mode is also unlike any game you could choose locatios and lighting looked good as the cars too and it felt to professional !!

Gt 5 had so many cars to choose from! Even in gt6 there's was so many, for gt sport it feels like the magic is gone, there's a nice choice of cars but nothing that really makes me excited, they got rid of all the normal cars, the regular cars are what makes it relatable to me, yes there's the Honda civic type r in gt sport but it just doesn't feel the same, the customization to me isn't the same. I miss being able to change individual parts on a car rather than upgrading the performance points. Gt sport isn't a bad game but I think they could do a lot better 😓 gt 5 Is what got me through grade 9 which was a bad year, hopefully the next gt game will put everything together a lot better

So how much premium and non premium cars are there in total?
The GT5 game should have about 1000 cars, it looks like there is about 150 premium and 850 non premium cars, has anybody more correct info?
I hope GT6 will have more premium cars and not so much "duplicate cars" as 50 Skylines or 10 Lancers :)
well you said 150 premium and 850 non premium and 150+850=1000 so there are 1000 sadly thought most of those cars as you said are duplicates skylines,evo's,350z's and so on but then some were included because they won the GT award and the citroen GT because it was a consept car by gran turismo and citroen and then got made by citroen in real life. and the rest are mostly cars modified by tuning house such as blitz,mugen,tom's,re aminia and spoon thus leading to most of those being duplicates of over cars like the skylines and civics. sorry for basically giving you a lecture 😄

Well somebody responded to my 6 years old comment. Anyways, the point is most people do not even get to try all the cars in GT, if so, it would take hundreds if not thousands of hours to complete at least one race with all of them :)
@@umbakarnask3844 I know it is a bit overkill with the duplicate s but it's about the closest you can get to a tuner car on an online session and the fact that some cars had racing modifications

They made the blue on Jimmie Johnson's car brighter, which was an improvement, but they also made the green on Junior's car too light. It took me until a few days ago to notice.

Best part is how this game has over 1000 cars and forza 7 only has like 700
But this game no have interior for all cars, only for 150 of theses, and in forza all the cars are to more rivh in polygons and details, incluiding interior for all cars since forza motor sport 3 ;)
