The Selloum can take a ton of different types of weather and be ok. I got mine outside right now and even when it’s in the 30s, it’s chilling out there with no problems. They really love that direct sunlight in Houston.
Just bought a seedling ....searching for help. Like your's and your guest's too! I do love the Billetiae more though ,as colours more pronounced and leaves are very,very alike with Spiritus. I have a medium size one and it is fast-growing and a beauty.

I’ve had my Thai Constellation for months and it finally put out a new leaf this week so hang tight it’ll grow. I just decided to buy 2 more Thai Constellations but shipping is being delayed because of the weather.
Thank you. Yeah I’ll put my older ThaiCon in the outdoor greenhouse this Spring and hopefully it’ll start back up. I try and only buy online within my state because of those shipping issues right now.
So glad I can put my sellum outside. Just have to make sure to cover it up for the couple of really cold nights we get. I wonder how cold an alocasia regal shield can go?
@@AroidDistrict one night during the cold snap we went down to 18. Couple of nights in the upper 20’s. Most nights upper 30’s-50’s. The sellum has a couple growth points so I can split that one. Leave one in the house and plant the other outside. Shield hasn’t pupped yet. Thank you for your incite
@@AroidDistrict thank you! I never knew what they were called. My baby PSS was tissue cultured from Red Leaf Exotics that I bought from a lady who originally bought from him. I don't want to freak out too much. I might just name mine Uno! Lol 😂

My Regal Shield is outside putting up with high 30s, it’s in a pot too rather than in-ground. So I’m impressed.

I think that’s the extra floral nectaries. It stains spots on the leaf or stem.
