TET Off Road Lake District Adventure | CRF 250 Rally

- We wanted to show you guys our off road lake district adventure that we had on our CRF 250 Rally and CRF250l. The lake district has some of the best trails around for motorcycles and 4x4 /s land rovers alike, so we wanted to show it to you.
We ride a lot of the Trans Euro Trail or TET, predominantly an off road route around UK and mainland Europe, and the Lake District has some amazing trails. If you are up in Cumbria, Uk and want to ride off road, check out the TET.
The CRF 250s did amazingly, they're really designed for this kind of off road and tarmac adventure.

Great vid, one of your best. Looks like you were lucky with the weather👌some of those trails looked a bit knarly but the bikes seemed to cope fine. Loved the dronage at the start, really set the scene👍

@@lightweightadv Yes I went last year to Lake Windemere after I broke my leg on an Enduro bike,
I have just got the CRF 300L so will be looking at the TET in the summer..

@@lightweightadv Looking forward to it. I'm debating whether to get a CRF300 "standard" or a 'Rally' and one of the key points I'm considering is the fuel tank size. As I see it you're in the unique position of regularly riding the two versions side by side; it'd be nice to ear your take on range and usability when you compare the two and how does this very same difference affect weight and handling. I can't wait!

Oh man that looks amazing. I've not done Cumbria/Lakes as of yet, but tackled similar terrain in N Yorkshire around Hawes on my 660 Tenere Tank. Was it all quite difficult/rocky surface? or some hard packed gravel? also which area of the Lakes did you travel through? Looked a bit like Wrynose pass to me? Deffo a trip to put on the list next year

1st route is Tilberthwaite to fell foot farm and the 2nd is from near esthwaite trout fishery to grizedale visitors centre.

Hey Matt, we use one of three apps, depending on what we want to ride:
1. Google maps
2. TET app (trans euro trail, android only I believe)
3. Trailwise 2 by GLASS. £42 a year for all the legal byways in UK 👌🏻

The Lightweight Adventurers ha ha I meant the navigation software you’re using! Should have made it clearer!! And FYI I’m on standard Honda mapping as well. 😁

What are your thoughts on the hyperpro setup?
