You've got the best attitude of all the HVAC guys I've watched. They started out easy but got to cussing and raising sand THANKS for being nice and I like that ghost puppy that hangs out with you! Be Blessed!
Wow, your intro darn near blew out my sub woofer and speakers on my desktop PC! Wow, A little warning next time about a new intro would be nice, LOL!!! Love your videos, keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!
I had to replace my burners on my furnace .bought them on line.I have a Rheem Unit very reliable. Had to replace a board once . And the blower motor that clears the fumes out before the unit starts. I actually like working on these systems.
I added a pair of pruning shears and a small battery powered chain saw to my tool kit for the lazy home owner that don’t realize they should keep the area around there equipment maintained.
WOW, what an introduction! Was that ash you were brushing out under the burners? I'll bet that unit hasn't seen service in many years. It probably will not see service for many more years now. Even though it's not really safe to run. Another nice job! Thanks for the Reily shot. What a sweet dog.
I think that thing has about seen it's days. You did a lot to try and make that thing right. If they call someone else, it's their loss. A shame because they will get the credit for what you did. On the other hand, If they get sick or worse, the other tech will get the blame.
It's rather funny. Customers thinks he can get a better price from another company, but he's going to be into it for a second service call, and what company isn't going to quote the same parts and almost the same price. And the customer is also risking having his unit disabled for safety reasons, if he refuses to repair the unit, and he's still on the hook for a service call. Some things just don't make sense. The only thing that makes sense, the customer is not calling anyone to make repairs till the unit breaks down again.
You are probably right. He will run that unit until it makes his family sick or worse. What a shame, ignorance is not always bliss. That thing needs to be changed out. If they call Curtis back out, I would not take the job unless they do a complete changeout.
NO ONE should Ever Accuse you for Cutting Corners for Removing the Surface Rust Off of the Gas Burners. NO question you’re Old School because it Shows.👍🙏
Its also to try to make a hole where the rust is. If you can put your screwdriver straight through the metal with little to no effort than the thing needs to be replaced
Hey Curtis, as always, thank you for posting, you were talking about the flame tubes, question on that, you showed direction they had to be for flame travel, but are the tubes interchangeable, meaning if you take one from the far left slot, as long as the flame traveling issue is correct, can it go into say the center slot?
Sometimes things happen for a reason this customer would go on my NO service list plus this unit is so decrepit you will get blamed for anything wrong with it so it’s better off you. get someone else to come

Nice work Curtis. That one. Is almost ready for the graveyard.
What a striking intro.

Love the new intro, blew my cans off and shit myself at the same time😮 still raining here in Wales 🏴
Only in the 50’s Overnight and the Chickens with NO Feathers are already requesting Heat. 🤔😬
That was a fantastic new intro with the 1.29 Gigawatt power bursts that will fry any control board.

Must say Curtis I’m liking the new intro. 👍🇨🇦

RHEEM might be Interested in getting this Unit up at their HVAC Museum. GOD knows it has had a Rough Life. 🤔👍🙏
Love the new intro

I love the new Intro...
Tales from the crypt!! By me they'd want another 20 years out of that barnicle.
Keep the intro... It's perfect.. The unit, well not so much.
Great job on an old gas pack sorry you didn’t get the job thanks for the video
I use my smallest size Allen key to clean out that port on the inducer motor for the pressure switch tubing.
Welcome to the Jungle, you can have anything you want, but you better not take it from me.
I added a pair of pruning shears and a small battery powered chain saw to my tool kit for the lazy home owner that don’t realize they should keep the area around there equipment maintained.
Didn't know hvac guys did landscaping
@@ThomasWalker-m2y you wouldn’t believe the condition of some of this equipment. Some you can’t even see for the overgrowth.

Good morning Curtis… nice intro!!
Thanks
Top notch work
Nice intro I wish I could figure out how to make ones like that I struggle enough just putting a video together and editing it lol
Well done Curtis, you have extended the like of that old girl for a little longer, it sure is due for replacement 👍 Au
Thanks 👍
great video curtis. you can use thermostat wire to clean that port on inducer motor
Dang that unit has done time at that house. Time for them to bust out the kerosene heater while a new rust pack is put in.
I See some Neighbors around our Area Cover their Outside Units. Big Mistake unless you want to Replace your Unit Sooner Vs. Later. NO Air means Rust🤪👎
Preventative maintenance? What's that?

Yes indeed new intro is spot on and all I can say about the A/C is LOVELY JUST LOVELY and maybe a even dozen OMG

I agree@@JesseDoesHVAC
I used a probe tip off my meter to to get the mud that some bug left in that hole.
Good to know...i would have hooked my shop vac to that line and relocated those frogs😂.
YIKES. Bout shat with that intro! Mebbe a little less...dynamic...would be keen?

I think those are, but not always
WTF was that at the start of the video? I've got a heart condition
If that had n ICM board installed sometime give you a false reading

Exactly!
🙂👍 💯% 🎯 ⚡️

Im surprised you dont have an iron rake, and a hoe on your truck.
I would hate to breathe air from that unit.
