This is the type I stuff I did when I was in elementary school. Dad was a mechanic and we would buy or just get old junkers and fix them till they ran and have races and demolition derbies in the pasture. Fun times it was!!!

That's one tough couple trucks. Those rangers are indestructible! It had so much horsepower it snapped the throttle cable.

I call "Bullshit" on that one. I'm not saying it's not possible to log that many miles but I am saying you do not have one with that many miles nor do you have one at all. If you did then you'd at least know how to spell the vehicle brand name.
Those little pickups are not much of a truck at all. They're too small to accomplish much work and when Toyota started making full-size trucks they still couldn't compete with the domestic brands. The old Toyota compact pickups did come with good engines but the frames were weak to begin with and extremely prone to rot. I've had a four of them over the years and they all needed major repairs(not just frame) when I bought them. I've also had a half a dozen or so Rangers from the same era that had their engines outlast all the Toyotas I had.

The engine sure didn't. The Bronco 2 engine could be taken out and put into something else whereas the Toyota was billowing smoke and needed a rebuild.

Yep... 'Yota wins... I'm a "DIE HARD FORD GUY"... But... in this case... That is a DEAD BRONCO!
All they had to do is a simple trail-fix for the Bronco's throttle cable and they'd be back in action. The Toyota however, that engine is the one smoking and in need of a rebuild. I know these trucks are just beaters but they could have still had fun with the Bronco if they were smart enough to fix it. However, based on their ability to spell in the video captions, I'd say they were not.
