I have one of those cow cream servers and I don't like to serve cream from it because It's hard to clean. If you want something interesting to serve things from try going vintage like old tea cups or jello molds. Go to a second hand store and look for vessels that have pretty or interesting designs.
If you folded in 1/3 of the cream into the chocolate first, then folded that mixture back into the remaining cream it would probably be a little more thick
You saying dirty was literally the first time I’ve ever heard any food referred to as dirty. Had no idea that was a thing. It shouldn’t be lol. Although watching this video did make me feel a little dirty lol
I used to make this a lot for myself after school. Sorry not sorry. Now I just heat a little cream with sugar, then add chocolate and let it melt and cool a little before I add cream and whisk and pretend that it is a mousse. Uni has made me lazy.
I have made this a few time, once I got to the stage of melting chocolate and but hadnt whipped the cream, got a telephone call and I had to dash, so into the fridge it went . When I got back 8 hours later, the chocolate mixture had become fluffy and foamy and was lovely.
FABULOUS. I just realized you have no upper wall cabinets in your kitchen. My dream kitchen! All deep drawers and pull out lower cabinet shelves. Maybe one corner cabinet to cut the echo factor.😁
My mum's been using this recipe for years! But she uses milk chocolate and normal marshmallows, rather than mini ones! It's a huge hit with the whole family, but she's become famous for it at dinner parties! It's addictive and so delicious and quick and easy! Try it!
That's a lot like a recipe my mom and I did way back when I was about 9 years old. -- only we used two squares of unsweetened baking chocolate (grated), and left out the whipped cream. Pour that into a cookie/biscuit pie crust, and it firms up to the texture of fudge that you can slice.
I couldn't stop laughing at the mouse all over your face... that is so me! :) I noticed a Birthday balloon in the background and since my birthday is on the 14th, I thought this would be an awesome idea to try: Edible Balloons!
From the top dessert lady in Denmark Mette Blomsterberg - you always take half of the creme in the chocolate and then fold it into the rest of the whipped creme -= keep more air..
I did something like this the other day at work for a dirty burger it was cheese mousse, heavy cream with lots of cheddar heat that up, add a bit of mustard S+P then folded that in to whipped cream to make an almost aerosol like cheese sauce
Fantastic 😀 I shared a recipe of yours with my son a week ago and he has had a week long "Barrython" so far!!! Everything is "Stonking!" in our house now and he wants to buy kitchen gadgets!!! 😂😂😂 👍👍👍
Another fast instant chocolate moose is to combine 50% dark chocolate block with a silken tofu pack. Slightly melt the the whole bar of chocolate in the microwave till its melted but still firm, thick melt. Then slowly stir in the tofu till its combined. Chill and you have instant milk free chocolate mouse. It's a recipe I learnt from my sister in law who is lactose intolerant can't drink milk.
Add a little powdered sugar or corn starch to the cream to keep it stable. If you have more time, use a bit of gelatin and it'll stay inflated for days.
This looks gorgeous! I don't often have dessert, but it's always the time I'd like something sweet that we have nothing in the house. For sure going to save this recipe and keep the ingredients on hand for that time!
There's a Nutella version of this recipe that's really good too if anyone ever wants to try it out! Search up Nutella Mousse it should be one of the first things to come up. Not a Nigella Lawson recipe but it's a goodie!
The Floss (dance)!!!! Is that a Singing Dentist/Backpack Kid reference? I love doing the Mr Bean dance as a child of the 90s at family discos as a joke or for fun while growing up in 90s and 00s.
Great recipe you found, also the Barry white esque voice you had goin on was funny especially when you were trying not laugh, absolutely loved the video. Keep up the good work 👍
Two crumbled up chocolate bourbon biscuits, couple of splashes of milk, 90 secs in microwave - instant chocolate pudding. Greate for when you have nothing in the office kitchen for dinner other than tea and the cheapest of the cheap biscuits. (Also works with custard creme's for instant 'vanilla' pudding). Working, may contain lumps.
Have you ever been mistaken for Nigella? I mean the similarities are endless.
yes way too often!
L Blair By that way of thinking, you could mistake *me* for Ariana Grande!

you sure? Think you look more like a Gal Gadot.
But each to their own oppinion.
Tiina Berg That was me being silly. But I appreciate the love and humor...

I know. Just felt compelled to add to your comment 😊
That cow seems a lit impractical from a cleaning sense, good luck getting bits out of all the nooks and crannies!
JugglingTeacups so it's "dirty" then? ;)
I was thinking the exact same thing, haha. Quietly cringing going "oh god I hope he can clean that properly".

A good soak and a bottle brush should do the trick.
yes... a good soak and bottle brush for cleaning.. but.. man what a waste of good moose that you can't get to... now that is a crime.....
If you folded in 1/3 of the cream into the chocolate first, then folded that mixture back into the remaining cream it would probably be a little more thick
Yea totally thought the same
pro trick : watch series on KaldroStream. Been using it for watching loads of movies these days.
@Odin Franklin yea, I've been watching on KaldroStream for years myself :D
Just officially finished my second year of Uni. What better way to celebrate than a bottle of wine, a Chinese and a Barrython? Stonkin.
Awwwww how cute was Amy's grunting and Boston being simba there such gorgeous dogs

Really? You've not watched much of Nigella's cooking shows have you? :-) Google 'Nigella Dirty' if you're feeling brave.
the only think I’ve really heard referred to as ‘dirty’ is Dirty Chai which is Chai tea/latte with a shot of espresso in it, it sounds disgusting
Americans have Dirty Rice. It's pretty good.
Dirty martini
Dirty means like your aren't supposed to eat it because it's bad for your weight but it's good
I don't know what Barry had today for breakfast but I can't stop laughing.
A clown perhaps
@@biak505 i mean, you are what you eat

That's ganache.
Kaylee Gaertner Yes,that is not even close too mousse!
@@angiebrown6252 when you're in uni/college anything will do 🤷♀️

Shouldn't you serve mousse from a moose?
Or a mouse?
It's the cow thingie from that one Japanese knife maker's videos....
omg I was hoping someone else noticed!
Thanks for the laughs Barry! You were cracking me up today!! 😂
Well this was a very aMOOsing video... :P

Barry: It's been how long?
Amy: Snorts
Barry: Thank you.

They just bought that house and are remodeling it. He is going to have wall cabinets once it's done.
Simmer Leona oh darn. Too bad so sad. I really like the lack of wall cabinets. Gives a more spacious open feel. Why must we have wall cabinets?

The phrase having a cow means to freak out or throw a fit. So basically it meant don't freak out
I don't know whether the Nigella voice amuses me, arouses me or creeps me out.
Ryan agreed
After the fifth or sixth time it definitely went creepy.
Ryan I prefer the real Nigella's voice.

Gosh I love your sense of humour.
"Instant" 😂
This recipe is my go to dessert. Easy to make and so so good!
"Just 10 minutes!"
dog: *snort*

"Remember to scrape your bottom!" Barry how much sleep have you had? I love watching you, you have so much fun and you make me laugh every time!!!!
He was having a blast really fun to watch
The Lion King pug killed me.... I have tears of laughter 😂😂😂😂
I make this quite often and sometimes add good orange or mint essence to give a different experience!
I couldn't stop laughing at the mouse all over your face... that is so me! :) I noticed a Birthday balloon in the background and since my birthday is on the 14th, I thought this would be an awesome idea to try: Edible Balloons!
Another day, another playlist. No wonder I’m always hungry.
This looks really good! I'll have to make this this weekend. Thanks! Love the cow to.

You're such a dad! Love it!
Every time I cook a Nigella recipe everyone says how incredibly delicious it is. She is very very very talented

Barry, before you get rid of the aga/fancy oven (assuming you haven't already) - could you make Welsh Cakes on the griddle?

haha cheers, busy day!
hey Barry, how long does it take to prepare a video, get the recipe and edit and upload on to youtube?
I did this in a day eg started at 9am and it was up for 3pm
He literally said that in the video.
Loved EVERYTHING about this video! :)
Add a little powdered sugar or corn starch to the cream to keep it stable. If you have more time, use a bit of gelatin and it'll stay inflated for days.
And so we finally have it... MVK and Barshens mashup. Barry, your attitude from Barshens has really shone through in this video. Great work as always!
This looks gorgeous! I don't often have dessert, but it's always the time I'd like something sweet that we have nothing in the house. For sure going to save this recipe and keep the ingredients on hand for that time!

Barry you're great. SOOOO funny with the chocolate all over your face. Very real person.
Barry is so hyper today, I can't stop snort-chuckling xD
Every time I watch these videos I smile and laugh. Barry you're my hero XD
Totally having a Barrython since finding you last week!
The Floss (dance)!!!! Is that a Singing Dentist/Backpack Kid reference? I love doing the Mr Bean dance as a child of the 90s at family discos as a joke or for fun while growing up in 90s and 00s.

Whelp. Now I want mousse. Yum!
Love it! It looks amazing 😍
You ever considered trying to make a chocolate mousse using 'aqaufaba' (a.k.a the water from a can of chickpeas)?
Lush-looking mousse btw :)
Is that a thing that people do? Why? Who even thought of that?
That would be a great idea using dairy free chocolate.
@@SecretAgentNein the chickpeas release starch, which acts as a thickener.
I love your channel Mr. Barry!!
I love your channel Barry. Going through a lot of life changes at the moment and your videos help keep me calm throughout all of it
Boston and Amy are the cutest! The moose looks good too
Just finished pouring mine out into little mugs! Will tweet you a pic in a bit

The whisk with the splash guard from your kitchen gadget video would have helped with the cream mess lol have fun be safe, Shannan
Seriously LOLing...also "don't have a cow, man" = Don't freak out. This was seriously enjoyable.
