I need some help! I have a 2012 Audi A4 and bought exhaust tips from the dealership but the clips are going the wrong way! It's very confusing and I need help.
Looks too easy. Had to tap mine off with a hammer from the back, underneath. Might want to pull up the pressure tabs with a screwdriver so they won't be prone to slip off with vibration, if you still have them :)

They aren't loose really, they stay quite snug and haven't come loose in the 4.5 years and 55K miles that i've had this car.
The stock tips on my TT look the same as this, they have a spot weld on them though to stop people stealing them.

I noticed that I have Borla exhaust tips on mine 😂. I never installed them lol
These are not after-market, they're genuine Audi parts. Car comes from the dealership like this.
I have a b8 s4 and they look crimped with weld marks, def not like this

rossagge I have a 2012 s4. I bought new exhaust tips. To take the old ones off all you do is knock it with a hammer?
