Speed of construction works are very slow compared to any other modern cities. Middle/low income countries like Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan has so nice well panned beautiful cities that it makes me wonder if India ever will be successful at building a good looking city with 2-3 million residents.

The way the city is planned is very 70's car dependent America. Very poor use of space with no walkability, urbanism or anything of value. It also looks kind of a ghost city right now. I am sure it will be decently filled up in the next 15 years, but sad to see that in the name of development we take the worst town planning practices instead of the best like European or South East asian. Walkable dense mixed use neighbourhoods dependent on reliable & efficient public transport with tight knit roads with road side cafes & heavy tree cover. A city on human scale that has a lot to do & enjoy walking around. Its just glass studded skyscrapers like BKC as of now 😔
