      I’ve said this before on live stream, tuv is incorrect, fictional loli pornography is not illegal actually, I did my research on this topic because I was genuinely curious and found out that in the early 2000’s the United States government said that fictional loli pornography is not illegal because no child is getting harmed. But it isn’t going to stop pedophiles, and ai loli pornography that looks realistic is also not illegal but is not acceptable, at least with drawings of fictional characters you can tell they are fictional characters, at least with 3D Animated characters you can tell they are fictional too. But realistic ai is crossing the line, that is why the surface web doesn’t allow reallistic ai loli pornography because they look way too real.

      He doesnt do a very good job. Hes largely uninformed and just blindly speculates.
      Like he will openly criticize the active psychotherapetic pursuit of allowing fabricated pornography to sexual offenders as an outlet for a non harmful form of sexual expression and becsuse it's simply beyond his cognitive capacity to think beyond his narrow view, he deems it "disgusting" without any sort of context. Newa flash, personal disgust isnt a thought, its not an argument, it's not anything but your discomfort about a topic you dont understand. If "that's disgusting" doesnt work for trans issues or homosexual issues, why would it work for this?
      I find it ironic coming from Americans to decry fabricated sexual content involving minors as a demonstrable way to decreasing sex crimes (look up the psyche studies) in a country that regularly normalizes forced genital mutilation of newborns....I couldn't think of a more hypocritical stance between being outraged by fabricated sexual content, within a culture that has essentially universally defended and normalized infant sexual abuse via genital cutting. Dont think too hard charlie you dont get paid to do that, your stans clearly dont care either..

      Plus, it's great for being truly anonymous. Tor is great for that because almost everyone who uses it has the same fingerprint. It's near impossible to be anonymous through basic means, such as a VPN, and anti-tracking browser addons. The harder you try to stay anonymous on a public browser, the more unique your fingerprint is, so you essentially make yourself stand out even *more*, and it makes it extremely easy to be identified by someone. With Tor, you look the same as everyone else. You'd be surprised how many pieces of information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, can be used to identify someone. All the way down to the size of your monitor/application.

    My understanding of TOR is that it itself isn't the "Dark Web," but instead a way to *access* it made by the Navy. The thing is, it's very easy for the owners of illegal content to see if someone is accessing their content and the method they are doing so. If only the Navy uses TOR, then when the content owners see a person accessing them is using TOR they'd immediately know a Fed is watching them. So, the Navy decided to make TOR easily accesible and usable by the general public so that when the Content Owner sees someone accessing their content via TOR, they can't tell if it's a Fed or a Genuine Customer.

      Tbh, many pedophiles literally suffer from being like that. Having a "healthy" outlet - such as porn or hentai - can help. Although, consuming too much porn isnt good for the brain anyway. I wonder if there is a study on the subject regarding pedophiles..

    • @DiamondSword1
      @DiamondSword1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +32

      I honestly don't watch and don't want to watch porn of any kind, but there's a fine line that separates, that differentiates "consumption from time to time" from borderline addiction. Sure, some people that consume such content aren't straight-up pedophiles or porn addicts, but have their own reasons like you said, an "outlet". You're right, if there _is_ a study on the subject, it'd be interesting. I'm not a psychologist, so we'd have to leave the study to someone else. Till then, let's hope the metaphorical tree of the AI idea doesn't bear any fruit.

    Just a slight correction on the legality of loli content: While federal law outlaws loli art, Title V Section 502 provides a legal defense if the loli content does not involve any actual minors. This keeps people from using the "it's just art" defense if they used a real minor or event that actually happened with a minor to draw their piece but allows people who didn't involve a real life minor at any point to use the "No victim, no crime" defense. BUT to use that defense, it can't be "indistinguishable from reality" so the AI idea that somebody mentioned that would produce realistic content would not fly

    • @awkwardcultism

      Ultimately the legality is highly uncertain in general because people are rarely prosecuted for it.
      I don't think anyone besides a lawyer is qualified to have an opinion on the legality of any drawing that could be construed as depicting a minor in the USA.
      Canada is a lot more litigious about this kind of stuff, I wouldn't call anything for sure legal over there.
      In general if you live in North America treating all drawings of fictional characters like you would treat banned literature is probably wise. Censorship is alive and well it would seem.

That stuff like these are just one in a million cases whose perpetrators will end up facing consequences for their actions, and that good will always end up rising, no matter how long it may seen.
    It's the stuff that some people have in their minds, with unfortunately many people do not and end up doing harm to others or even themselves. So leave this note, these are lone cases which are not repeated, soon enough this will be erradicated and the degenerates will be caught.

    For anyone looking, a brief, vague run down: The dark webs purpose is anonymity. The navy developed it to encrypt messages so that they couldn't be traced back to an individual by monitoring traffic. A TOR network is built up of nodes which are essentially other computers running the software. When you transfer data/make a request etc you send it through 5 of those nodes, the request is encrypted from the furthest to closest and each layer has the address of the next node in the chain. In short it protects the data being able to be traced back to anyone. Its not necessarily all illegal drugs and weapons...sometimes murder, sometimes leaking government secrets and maybe a little anti government stuff in those countries where you get jailed for thinking about not liking your rulers.

    My school showed us a documentary which included a website (I’ve forgotten the name) which allows you to get into peoples webcams if they aren’t password protected. There was one guy who used to go through and access the webcam and microphone to scare and warn the people who are vulnerable.
    The problem is that when one of my classmates (who gave off bad “nice guy” stalker vibes and was proven to have stalked a girl in the past, leaving her a creepy note in her door) remembered the site and boasted about getting it to work. He boasted that he could even get it to work in the common room as he knew the IP of the common room WiFi and would then use a password guesser to basically go through every single variation of the IP in order to find someone available on the network.
    I’m glad the guy he managed to get into was told immediately and he got a punch in the face for it.

      I am inside a community of competitive shooters and professional firearms trainers. That being said I know a guy in Memphis that was kidnapped at a mall and forced by two men at gunpoint to drive them to his house to rob him. Once they got him to his house they split up and one took him into one end of the house while the other guy ransacked the opposite end. Little did they know that he had a pistol on the top of some furniture. The homeowner got to the gun and shot and killed his first captor....the second one thought the partner killed the homeowner so he just ambles back to the back of the house to meet the rest of the bullets in the mag. He managed to run outside and collapse a short way away.

It should be possible to see if camera was on, and maybe even if a photo was taken, because if you hear the sound that suggests someone watching would not have used their pc to screen, but rather your pcs build in functions, which should show up. Anyways, its probably nothing and just a background app doing some harmless updates or something with a badly chosen sound.

    For anyone wondering to answer Charlie's question what is dark web for, you have to understand that Dark Web isnt a seprate thing its basically part of the internet but dark web pages for example are restricted by common web browsers or google if you want to interpretate it that way. Tor is just basically the browser which alows you to view the restricted websites that cant be viewed on other web browser for different legal reasons mainly due to the security concerns I would say. Also tor acts like a vpn its much harder for people to be able to locate you with the result so this is the second reason why tor is used or was made it was for privacy, of course combined with diffrenet techniques the dark web is like a heaven place for cyber criminals to conduct their whatver illegal things they want to do on the internet. Of course dont think that you cant be traced the internet is designed that way so you leave cyber footprints whenever you uses it with tor people are just extra protected but of course you would need to be a very talented it person to not cover up your cyber footprint so tor on its own isnt a a big problem for the cyber police may I describe them that way to locate criminals cyber footprints. Id say things that add lets sya some encryption behind your cyber footprints are more for your own privacy protection from hackers other then the law enforcement because most hackers arent that bright and they mostly just use cheap methods to you know hack your information or whatver. I tried simplyfing everything I said so that anyone can understand me so my apologies for my lack of specific explantions and terms, if you want to know more just do your own research and I know that most of the people watching wont or dont really care too much.

    • @skatterpro
      @skatterpro 2 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      You have to distinguish the deep and the dark web. The deep web is generally things you don't interact with without knowing where to look for it. Accessible databases with nothing (of access) linking to it, for instance. The vast majority of the internet would fall into this category. The dark web is a subset of this where there is a deliberate obfuscation attempt, like using the onion protocol (forcing users to use TOR for access).
      What criminals and law enforcement can and can't do is always going to be up for debate, and you're always getting information through a source with a bias. The scope of cyber crime is larger than most people consider, and is in quantity mostly petty, but qualitatively potentially extremely advanced. This is evident by the fact that state actors spend astronomical amounts of money researching and developing exploits and attack vectors. This is of global state security concern. To add to that, you also have to consider the lag - essentially the mechanics of 0-days, meaning mitigation requires discovery first. The dark web both is and isn't "for" crime, but it aims to obfuscate the user and the host.
      So - what benefits and reasons there are for the onion protocol, TOR and "the dark web": You may live in a place with free speech, free press and a somewhat liberal lifestyle. Yes, some things are probably still illegal (like the contents mostly discussed in these types of videos), but not basic human rights. There are basic, benign parts of the dark web for this reason. In these cases, the hoops needed to jump through to not get caught depends on how inclined the enforcer is to find you. You'll likely not be impossible to find, but then again, there are still anonymous criminals at large.
