Wow, you are so smart and talented to be able to make such a cool enclosure! I hope you healed quickly from your wound 😢. Thank you for making such a beautiful habitat for your ferrets, you take such good care of them 🥰💕👍
Your video answered some of my questions about escape proofing. I live in an area with predators including foxes, raccoons, and stray cats, as well as birds of prey such as hawks, falcons and eagles. For mine, I'll need to add a wire mesh top so my babies are safe when they play. I'll also have underground nesting areas so they can stay cool when our summer heat gets excessive.
I want to do this so bad but what about outdoor bugs and spiders that's my only fear that those type of critters make homes in my ferrets outdoor playing area ugh any suggestions I don't want my ferret to get harm. & I love your idea amazing work 👏🏼
In the UK we dont have poisonous spiders (except those arriving on bananas!) so no risk of harm. The ferrets tend to eat spiders and bugs they come across!
Whow 😮 I love this outdoor enclosure. Thank you for the video. It helps so much, as I'm busy planning mine. One thing I want to know though, can you give me any guide lines on making the bridges, please?
Bridges are easy. Just build two side profiles in the shape you want, like up, Flat, down. Then put boards on the top to create the floor and tie the two sides together.
@kingsdownferrets8485 Thank you so much, I was watching all your videos on the outdoor enclosure, just to try and see how you made the bridges 🤣🤣and get an idea. But thanks to you I think I'll manage🤗👌
Its just a big box water reservoir at the bottom, and then a submerged pump which sends water up to the top, and then it flows down again. Not really much else to it.
No litter box, just nature. So the go where they want. The poop dries/decomposes. Isn't an issue outdoors. I'm sure there will be little mice but not seen them
Excellent enclosure, but you forgot 1 thing. Open air from birds of prey. I've seen an eagle swoop down & grab a squirrel at my old apartment. Not sure if eagles or other birds of prey would go for ferrets, but just saying.

Thank you so much! Yes the wound was quick to stop bleeding 😄
wow it turned out lovely! aw... I wish I had a garden... I'd love to do something similar for mines.
I'm very sorry that you hurt yourself.
Them hissing about not getting the treat at 8:14 😆😆
Haha 😄 yeah I was really annoying the poor guys teasing with the treats until I got the right shot!
I'm sure we would love to watch your ferrets play in their new natural habitat enclosure for 30 minutes or more.
I second this
I’m going to seek out a landscaper in my area and ask them to recreate this. Thank you for the step by step. Much appreciated
Go for it!
Same. Lol

Yeah, we are lucky in the absence of predators. Otherwise you would need an enclosed space. Underground nesting areas are good idea in hot climates.
This is incredible
So beautiful ❤
This is amazing!!
Do you have a more detailed video on the workings of the water feature? Im so interested in that

❤❤❤❤❤ So lovely ❤❤❤❤❤
Cool!
This is amazing thank you, really want to use these ideas and make one for mine. How does that water feature work?
Its just a big box water reservoir at the bottom, and then a submerged pump which sends water up to the top, and then it flows down again. Not really much else to it.
What did u use for literbox? Do you see rodents coming to forage?
No litter box, just nature. So the go where they want. The poop dries/decomposes. Isn't an issue outdoors. I'm sure there will be little mice but not seen them
Do you ferrets live out there permanently?
No we take them out for the day. Back home for the evening. Not every day tho, Other days they stay and play in their main enclosure.

I think certain BoP would certainly go for ferrets if given the chance. Luckily tho, on our area we don't have any that do.
