@@kiksgreebo147 good question, it can be effective but rarely. The problem is on a high level those people simply have a really fast reaction time and good control so ur probably shooting urself in the foot doing that 😄

@@kiksgreebo147no it’s because usually, in table tennis people don’t tend to lift the ball high at close range, in professional table tennis they just tend to smash.

That last spin was done hidden under the table and the opponent couldn't see the direction of the spin. In fact, he swung the pad in the opposite direction after spinning it to fool her into thinking the spin was done in the opposite direction. That seems to be his main tactic as I saw him do that in other videos. He intentionally waits and hits the ball under the table to hide his spin direction.

The technique is brilliant. Hitting the ball under the table takes away the line of sight. So the opponent can not see which way he spins the ball.
