Watched many 'high dollar' channels and your video is better in both explanation and being straightforward. Thanks for your expertise and time...subbed!
Good video ! I was hoping this video was going to give me an answer to my problem where I have the same inside pad wears off in about one month while the other one stays almost brand new. The only difference is that my callipers are only three months old and the pins are not stuck. I cannot seem to be able to find out what is wrong. Good job on this video anyway.
I have metal to metal brakes. I have ordered my brakes but i still have to drive quite a bit until it gets here in a few days. I hope you see this message. Can i at least go a couple more days until my brakes arrive.
Hey Keith! Good information to know! My brakes, and I don't know if it front or rear, squeal when coming to hard stop but only in warm weather....I've just looked through the wheels and plenty of pad left on the outboards but can't tell on inboards because I haven't had a chance to look further into this yet. They are Powerstop pads carbon ceramic pads and not that old..any ideas until I can pull them apart?? Sounds like the squealer tab noise but again, not that old..I usually grease my slides well but i dont think thats it... I do use a wheel cleaner on my wheels when i wash my car which of course get on the calipers and brakes but this issue never happened before..Thanks buddy! PS, you need better gloves. Lol
Yes, the gloves are cheap for sure. Did you have the rotors refinished when the pads where installed? A lot of times if the rotors are not turned you can get squealing out of new pads.

I'd never tell anyone that it is safe to drive a vehicle with metal to metal brakes.

@@BarboursAutoHelp No I just replaced pads..
@@johnwagner4559 that may be it then. Probably just an annoying sound. Never hurts to check them though just to be sure.
@@BarboursAutoHelp Will do. Thanks Keith!
My brakes sounds meatballs to metal and 2 garages say pads and rotors are fine. Only does it occasionally but can't figure it out
Pads may be cracked.
@@BarboursAutoHelp thank you
