Starting to use an easel for drawing and painting has been a breaking point for the wellbeing of my back, so yes, 100% recomend! Thank you for such a realistic haul video at the end, it is great to get good quality supplies, but it's even more important to really use them all! 🙌

It's hard NOT to spend money on art supplies - they're so much fun! I'm off to your older videos again to see if I can find you using some of these goodies - particularly the W&N gouache, the Jelly gouache and the W&N professional watercolors...

That’s exactly why I got my easel! I’m glad TH-cam recommended you, this was a lovely video.

@@SketchesnScrubs I use multi media (watercolor, gouache, acrylic, pencils, ink, etc) and my subjects are people, landscapes and animals-literally everything! I love your videos and I’ll probably be binging them. Keep going!! :)

Oh wow I love the sketchbooks & I am also thinking of getting the largest size one for a change from my landscape sketchbooks. The travel paintbrush set looks beautiful as well & something I have been thinking 🤔 about. Yes I would be very interested in seeing & knowing if or how the Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolor are different from the Cotman Student grade watercolors. Thanks for sharing this wonderful fun video with us.

Hi. I have only discovered your channel today but I immediately subscribed. It is so nice to see someone who looks like me (or like my daughter anyway) doing things that interest me too.

The. W&N. gouache paints will crack when dried in pans; to prevent this, stir in a couple drops of glycerin and/or honey (humectant). This will also allow them to rewet more quickly. This will not affect lightfast or other properties. I suggest doing a small amount first to figure out how much to add, before doing the. whole palette. Thanks for sharing your purchases!

My favourite item was the travel brushes. They have been in my cart for at least 6 months. I would love to see a review. Actually I quite like your videos so will watch no matter what as you can see, I'm watching the past ones now. 🙃

I love shopping vicariously by watching other people spend their money! LOL! Thank you for sharing your haul.
I love the retro Polaroid! My husband won a portable ink-less printer at some tech conference that prints pictures from my iPhone on sticker paper. The printer was free but of course the special sticker paper is not!
Let us know how the gauche works in the watercolor pallets. Sarah Burns (she is an AMAZING landscape watercolor and gauche artist) uses air tight containers to keep the gauche moist.
And I definitely like my W&N professional watercolors better than my Cotman - I just find the professional ones are more vibrant probably because it has less binder and filler materials and more pigment which makes them more expensive. I also think they are more light fast which only matters I think if you try to sell original art rather than scanned and printed.
Anyway, looking forward to your next video (even if it probably isn’t going to be a haul for a while - LOL!).

Hi! Yep, it’s me. Tho I’m thinking I will need to change my handle to Lily Anne if I ever take my creative journey more seriously. There is a Lily Baldwin in New York who is a performer, photographer. Maybe when I retire from my day job! Lol!
I was so excited to find your channel and see you grow your creative journey! There is no limit!

Have you worked with Posca paintmarkers before? People are saying some papers eat them up, even watercolor paper. Apparently double and triple coated paper per works well. Anyway, I’m curious to your findings. Cuz it seems real strange to me because they are supposed to work on so many surfaces.

I use an easle for bigger (A3) paintings because otherwise I smear the paint too much and it is really uncomfortable to work with the paper laying down. I have a wooden easle which did cost around 20 €, it is a big one but I can use it also on a table (you can adjust it to your need which is a big plus). But I do like to work quite wet with watercolours - this can have nice, but also unwished, effects when using an easle.
In general I enjoy watching haul videos but at the same time hate them xD
I think it is ok to show what you buy when you planned to buy it anyway.
But I don't like hauls when I have the impression that the person has only bought the stuff to make a haul video, or is only showing the stuff because they got it for free from some company. This creates too much waste and is consumerism at it's peak.

@@SketchesnScrubs Yes I enjoyed your video and did not want to be unpolite or anything else towards you. I was not talking about your video when I explained what I like and do not like about haul videos.
As someone who also loves to buy lots of different art supplies (but is on a no spend thingy until the end of the year) I get that you just want to show what you got and share your opinions on the things (which honestly helps so much to the people watching).
It is a plessure to watch ur videos and I am happy to follow you along as your channel grows ♥

@@SketchesnScrubs hi, I have few brands, few tubes of Schmincke Horadam, few tubes of Schmincke akademie, Art Creation set and Nevskaya Pallitra set. Gouache is best used fresh from tube but since I have a 5 year old daughter and she likes to takeover my desk when I sit to paint so I don't get to paint as often as I would like.

@@SketchesnScrubs no problem, i like your videos ☺️. i like it but i haven't really used gouache much to compare it, i have 3 holbein "acryla gouache" tubes but ive barely used them. the other that i have is a caran d'ache pan set which is very different from tubes or cups and i use it like watercolor really

I think you will find there is a large difference between student grade and professional grade watercolor paints. By all means make a video showing the difference.
