True. Anyone that takes the information of this video without question wants power for themselves, not to better others.

There is a misinterpretation of Macchiavelli thoughts, with the sentence"the ends justify the means" you forget the nost important thing...In fact his thinking is "The end justifies the means, provided that the goal is the stability and well-being of the people"....very different...

Some great info. On the last point, if it was true we would have great rulership in our civilized societies. We don’t, and I believe the main reason is that government cannot be the ultimate authority that rule or morality is based upon. That was what was special about the US Constitution but it’s eroded everyday by people who think they are the sovereign.

    Simple:
    Two things:
Cultural understandings of wired politics abd culture.
Being knowledgeable of candidates and what economic interests would be affected as a result of a certain candidate winning.
Handling political conversations like adults being irritated to take the devil's advocate if necessary shoes you are knowledgeable of both sides.
Control emotions. If a rival sees a way to provoke they will.
Be methodical unpredictable abd use authority intelligently.
Know that if they don't present ideas for a platform they have others draft policies for themselves
    Bottom line:
    Trust no one.
