Get into ROTC! I too as a service member have learned a great deal in the military. It's very diverse and full of varied political opinions. It also helps you learn how to work as a team in the most high pressure situations. Nothing tests you will power and courage like being in the military(personal opinion).

I have subscribed to you. I am very interested in politics and I feel that I can make a difference in America and abroad. I need to work on public speaking and how to put myself in the position to run for Congress one day. Everytime I look into starting a career in politics the first step is to start locally but I feel like I'm ready for something much bigger than that. I was kicked out of school at 18 and dropped out of community college. I am 24 and feel that I am too old to go back. I am so concerned about our country that skipping college and learning online free is the best way to get ahead. I have never been so passionate about anything in my entire life. I am not politically biased like many Americans have become and I believe both Democrats and Republicans bring a lot to the table but the lack of communication has put us down a dangerous path. Foreign policy issues has been much of my focus but becoming more educated with understanding and handling issues here is a must. Also, you might want to run for state congress first, or possibly city council / mayor.

Listening from India.. My question is that does alliance between different political parties help in the long run for the party.. In India its very common to see government being formed by forming alliances
@@harshitdas2040 in countries with multiple parties it is common. And without it it is impossible to form a governing coalition.
