Hi, when you unscrew the wood handle to open completely the jaws, does the wood handle stop unscrewing ( or is blocked by something ) or then it's taken appart, dismantled ?

Yes indeed, I think it's better to buy the largest one only. The small one is only for specific application or nomad leather workers
