Video title says "An Experienced Electrician Taught me!"
What had you done to the electrician that he wanted to kill you? 😵
Dude your heads wired up wrong , this is lethal ☠️
Nunca he visto una estupidez tan grande sin sentido. Vea un sicologo
Mmisterioso
I am an electrician and practical electrical engineering trainer and also know some chemistry. I really advice you to remove this advice/trick because most people are not aware the safety handling life parts. Would you want to be a part in injuring or even the death of people ?! And something else, electrolysis of liquids (usually DC, but...) via metals can develop toxic substances in the liquid !
YOU probably know what to do and what not to do. But I have quite a bit of doubt (in my experience) that most people don't know what they are doing or what is going on. An accident happened in no time.
@@francescoricci9421
I think that's what it does.
Have you any idea how incredibly dangerous this is. Anything over 50 volts could be potentially lethal given the right circumstances and you're fecking around with 220 volts. Welcome to the Darwin Awards

He was making a cuppa tea when he suddenly died.
Ok e after whats is the result ???
Certainly glad it was an experienced electrician, and not a novice.
😄

It's shocking.
This is life-threatening.😮
That looks cool but dangerous 😮
VERY VERY DANGEROUS!!!!!! I do not advise at all!!! Yes it works, but very last resort!
Prisoners about 60 years ago used the same principle to make such cookers from razor blades.
😢 absolutely deadly dangerous .
Cool, but a bit sketchy experiment. I think I will just keep using the single-cup immersion heater designed for this purpose. For about $5 CDN(maybe more now), it is CE, CSA and UL approved not to electrocute you or burn your house down. Cheers.
not a heater...that is electrolysis... the bubbles are hydrogen and oxygen
@@davidjones-vx9ju That's what I thought at first, but notice the time it takes before you start getting bubbles. If it were electrolysis, the bubbles would start as soon as power is applied. Bubbles after almost 2 minutes indicates that the water is indeed boiling, as michaelheurkens4538 said.
This is alternating current, so any hydrogen atoms produced will have oxygen atoms to combine with 1/50 second max later, and will re-combine into water. Try electrolyzing with AC and see. (I'd use something like 12VAC though, instead of 220VAC.)
where does the heat come from?@@tarinaten2053
DEADLY.
Ale wynalazek, normalna więzienna buzała.
ESTOU COM 80 ANOS .FAZIA ISSO QUANDO ERA CRIANÇA !!!
Don't try this at home, folks 😅
I could save time by using a kettle.
I m afraid ekectrocute
A perfect way to electrocute yourself as every experienced electrician will confirm. The "Don't try this at home" disclaimer is ridiculous. Why show it, if you don't want people to try this at home?

Lebensgefährlich!
There is already something like this called a Tachsieder
"Tauchsieder" is the correct German word.
🤣👍😘Yes, exactly right@@KarinMurati
Je to stará a dobře známá metoda ohřevu vody. Ale je to velmi nebezpečné. Raději to ani nezkoušejte a už vůbec ne doma. To fakt nechceš.

Which is it?
This is a Schrödinger invention, doing it you are simultaneously dead and alive, the end result depends upon quantum conditions....
Certainly the last option! Too dangerous to repeat it.
Mantap sekali, sederhana dan lebih ekonomis

E se a panela for de metal ?

Oh let's do this, I think one time u take the fork and put into the electrical socket and u can say: I FLYING!!!!

Dangerous, bad idea.
Why?
@@CreativeHacker7 There is no galvanic isolation between water and power supply source. Ah and the last but not least the water will have by-products of electrolysis process.
"Shot by professionals" but not ethical electricians. This is a death device.

Wouldn't it be far safer to just use an electric jug, that's been made to safety standards, to boil water? 🤔
In the jail/prison populous this is known as a "STINGER!". A way to boil water when hot water is not available and one is in need of a "Chi-Chi", a jailhouse delicacy consisting of ramen noodles, squeeze cheese, Cheetos, Doritos, summer sausage (or combination of any of the above) and anything else you can throw in it!. I think your "electrician friend" is (possibly) well acquainted with one of the many lovely institutions found around the globe that once you walk into, you can't walk back out!. 😉
As an electrician...one outside... I don't think a homeowner or even a camper should copy this, but it sure makes sense where you said. Hope the source of your ramen noodle water is clean.
Definitely not. Prisoners in prison never have access to an electrical outlet.
in France we call that " TOTO'
"summer sausage" made me laugh!

Why not just boil the water in an electric kettle?
.......or with an immersion boiling device

European voltage is 240vac, the US is only 120vac. Either one will kill you dead.
Dangerous as hell. Why is this video not banned???
Dangerouuuuussss
I would only use it in an extreme emergency when life is at stake! Because electricity flows through water, it is very dangerous and can be fatal if you are not careful. If you don't believe it, try touching the water with a metal spoon during heating, or use a metal container instead of a glass one.
Lepiej na żyletkach zrobić grzałkę
