I would like to ask the government. If they are happy that farmers of the next generation will not go into farming, sell up as they can’t pay the inheritance tax, take the knowledge handed down for generations, who will feed us, will they be happy to have to import more food taking more money out of the economy of the UK? If they mention the “black hole left by the previous government” you can be sick all over their shoes. As I am sick of hearing it.
