Bruce Lee was my childhood hero. I learned about him when he died. I was walking home one day and saw little Franky crying and I asked what was wrong and he said, Bruce Lee died! I was like who's that one of your cousins or something and he said, you don't know who Bruce Lee is? I was like no! I went to see a movie and I was hooked! He was larger than life, charismatic, and highly skilled! He did things that most people cannot do even today! Even the Chinese recognized that he was great! I hope that he is having fun in Heaven with his son entertaining his Creator for all his gifts and talents forever!

I've seen him in person, & when he spoke to my friend. Asked him how did he know him? He said I go to his restaurant. Not really his but at a restaurant we both worked at. When he came to DC to learn Karate, his teachers were amazed at his speed & power he showed when perfecting "their" moves! Indeed he wanted respect for his fellow Asians as well as teaching Non-Asians his art & philosophy, which was banned by many Kungfu schools. He was a renaissance man!

Bruce understood energy on a level not understood by many. I don’t believe he was alone in this understanding. Most are willing prisoners who decided they were complete. The human hand and the energy it can deliver and manipulate. I’m eternally grateful for these lessons.

    • @nelsonhibbert5267
      @nelsonhibbert5267 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Sure, if we could harness that energy. Like when men are having a wank, if we could attach a magnet to the hand and have a coil wrapped around an iron core in close proximity to the dinkle, then all the wankers in the world may well be able to feed the supply to the entire national grid and we'd have no need for nuclear reactors.

    Fond memories
    because
usually after an early dinner, me and my brother would walk with our Dad to the theater to watch a Bruce Lee movie everytime a new one came out.
The Bruce Lee era wouldn't be complete without Westerns.
These were also a thing back then, which were also Dad's choice of movies specially if it was Terence Hill and Bud Spencer.
Those days are gone but not forgotten, specially our Dad.
    Oh well...like i said,
    Fond memories.

It's extraordinary to compare the graceful flowing movement of Bruce Lee against every other martial artist in these clips. He was definitely one of a kind even today.

Bruce Lee is the definition of martial arts. That is what it says in the dictionary when you look up martial arts. It says: See Bruce Lee. Never will there ever be another like him.

Bruce was an advance practioner of 4 martial arts streams
Kung fu, winchung, judo karate skills with acrobatic talent
Due to which he innovated his own style that was jeet kune do intercepting fist. He was a MMA king and flowed with styles , he was a martial arts versatile , something like those good in maths can perform well in physics, chemistry and statistics & other related streams

You forgot his biggest influence avant garde and Western boxing. Bruce Lee loves European martial arts and incorporated them into jeet June do just most people don't think of European when they think of his garde kicks which is actually a French art and he also fenced.

I'm spellbound and speechless. I watched this in awe for 8 minutes and twenty-four seconds. Mister Beerdy, you outdid yourself. For you to take the arduous time and patience to bring this masterpiece of footage to us. I'm more than grateful. I saw this movie when I was 8 years old with my dad and make sure to watch it whenever it's on. And I don't think I'm alone when I say that this was actually an old fashioned lone gunfighter martial arts meets western film. I've always thought that. Thank you again, mister Beerdy. If there's anyone who was better than Bruce, someone, please, let me know. Gone way, way, way too soon.
