    ABOUT VEDANTA
Vedanta is one of the world’s most ancient religious philosophies and one of its broadest. Based on the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of India, Vedanta affirms the oneness of existence, the divinity of the soul, and the harmony of religions.

Thank you for explaining advaita vedanta this way Professor, it helps to hear how you relate western concepts with vedanta. When you said "vedanta has to do with Phenomenology" it immediately clicked and I could see the connection between Hegels Phenomenology of Spirit and vedanta.

Hegel copied from Upanishad. Says Sarvapriyananda and Zizek.

He certainly did. Most people who are interested in western philosophy fail to see the parallels in the east, so they mistakenly deem it as mysterious or occult like. In reality, the important work of Hegels Phenomenology of Spirit is simply a poor re-wording of the information found in the Upanishads. Think about it like this though, if someone can comprehend what Hegel actually meant it would feel like a breathe of fresh air to hear how vedanta so eloquently states these truths. Om shanti

Beyond Senses: We can think beyond senses what is called in Vedanta as "Sasmita Samadhi ". In English it is called "Bereft of Body" that is without the physical body, we can think with a fine body. Here, Brain works as a Catalyst Agent
Only Jivanmuktas can understand this philosophy. It is practical Philosophy

Gone only as far as 34 minutes but already too many things from Gun Parinamvaad to Utkrantivaad to maya to origin and then different schools. I couldn't understand the central point as to what does drishti-srishti vaad strives to explain. Must be my ignorance manifesting in not seeing the coherence in the discourse.

47:04 Karma and Ishwara in drstisrstivada ... what does Vimuktatman think about all this? Guru? And he says these are all "stories" and fantasies mind has ... and Yoga Vashishta ... from whose perspective are we talking from? From Sristi Dristi perspective all of that is real and we have to act accordingly ... Dristi Sristi is post enlightenment analysis of world that's why it gets confusing to people there is no confusion in reality ... be careful in thinking
