That opening segment was so great. It made me grin from ear to ear. I really like the segments when Emgo and Mascot interact.
The irony of sentinel prime number being 316 and having a red and black color scheme has not left my mind

Emgo I’ve been watching you for the last 10 years and holy shit the change of starting in robot mode REALLY just threw me for a loop. I thought the vote was going to change the JTIs not the normal reviews. Since the JTIs should in my opinion reflect the instructions and the first couple of transformations
the poll was clearly referring to the order of the review.
I'd have to agree. I've been watching since Combiner Wars, but starting in robot mode makes the review lose some of the "Emgo" feel that I've had with this channel over the years, and it may not seem like a big deal but, it's something I noticed. I thought people would get confused, so I posted a comment below the poll to clear things up.

I seriously just ordered this last week. I hadn't gotten a bayverse Sentinal before but I came across this and decided that they finally came up with a version I wanted for the size and detail.

Little disappointed that Mascot didn't get to club Sentinel like he deserved, but still an awesome review, EmGo! I wonder if you can store the weapons in the slots and holes under that flag tampograph? Looks like they may be the right size for the shield handle and the gun grip.

Considering this is just an upscaled (and improved) SS, the eyes look SOOOOooooooo much better than the SS's little blue balls.

He still need Optimus', and to some extent the humans trust since the pillars were still in their possesion, by rejecting the Matrix he display a false sense of vulnereblity since Optimus and the humans will assume he is still as noble and humble as he used to be

I’m so glad i found your channel. I used to watch you years ago when i was very into transformers.
The tripod squeak when you started the legs and all the readjusting to keep everything in frame for some reason made me laugh and smile and I don't know why, it's the little things I guess XD
If Sentinel had come during the ROTF/HFTD golden age of Transformers engineering, I bet he would have had such a crazy transformation. Don't get me wrong, I love both the original leader and the new voyager molds, but this is an incredible improvement. Can't wait to see the Movie Masterpiece when it comes out (2025?).
Highly doubt they would make a mpm for sentinel, would be nice tho but I think this is the closest we gonna get
Considering it takes them an entire year to pump out one or two MPMs, and only this year have they finished the entire 07 roster, its unlikely were gonna see a sentinel until like 2030-2035

I appreciate the fact you compared him with Wei Jiang Black Apple Optimus, I bought him after two years of trying to find him for a decent price. And he doesn’t come till October so I wanted him to have a body to stand next to when he arrives. I just bought this figure and I’m blown away. I think the scaling is pretty decent between the two, sentinel was definitely bigger than optimus. No one else has compared these two, so much appreciated 🙏

Thank you for informing the number and size of the batteries. Twice now I've had a figure come without batteries due to shipping to the US and nothing was listed in the directions. So it left me hunting videos for awhile to find out what size to order. Ty, I appreciate it now I won't have to search the world for such a small detail.
Yes this is an improvement it is just like movie accurate i like it litrally of the best sentinal prime we ever had

I wish they had used something different on the windshield, it looks kinda weird and dingy in the light. Other than that it looks really good in both modes.

Yeah I can't jiggy with this new way of reviewing. There's just some sort of excitement and its more revealing when its in alt mode to vehicle mode than vise versa. I really hope this doesn't ruin it for me because you're my favorite reviewer man.
It just sucks when you've been reviewing these figures for 10+ years doing everything in a specific way and it worked 110%. And it was fun, because the alt modes were cool or boring or whatever but they weren't nearly as exciting as getting to see it transform into the robot mode. Because the robot mode was supposed to be the big exciting reveal.
Then there was that one person who complained.
All I have to say is that don't fix it if it isn't broken.
It’s not just one person. It’s a complaint I got quite often and it’s something that does turns people away from watching me. The poll currently stands at 68% to 32% in favor of starting with how it’s packed so clearly the majority feel this is the proper course of action. Not just one person. It wasn’t broken, but it’s not working well anymore either.
@@emgo316 From what I seen so far, the poll says to have it start how it's packaged, but it seems like there's more people wanting to start it in alt mode. Even some of the people that wanted it to start how it's packaged wants it to start in alt mode but haven't changed the vote (unless they don't know they can, I'm not sure). But, that's the thing with formats, some people will like it and some won't. You can't please everybody, that's why you must be careful with what you do, because you could wind up losing more people than you intended when you change something. In this case, people have grown to love your style of video Emgo myself included, and people shouldn't try to change something that a lot of people already like. It just won't work.

Man I had the OG ss sentinel and I remember it being SUPER fiddly at least my copy was and I couldn't get anything to tab together properly and I feel like this one has the same issues to the next level prob won't get
