Full Art Basics in this set are agian really nice. I think I need to use them thematically like the plains depicting the clouds for a bird or fliers deck :D
I like that the pre-release pack bonus card is random. The bundle card always ends up tanking itself and the normal version in the set.. But I am still a bundle fan and wish they would do more to make them more enticing. Heck, I wouldn't be opposed to a full-on Collector bundle.
I got a collector's box & enjoyed 2 pre-releases... I'm tempted to buy more packs... buuuut, I think I'll get most of the cards I want through trades. There's the temptation to crack packs to hunt for the alternate arts... but ironically, I'd end up just trading them off. Then there's keeping dem fingers crossed in getting good cards in your mega-pull event as my name hasn't come up yet & I keep building points!!!
I've had a suspicion that pre-release packs have better rare/mythic chances for quite sometime, but that second pre-release pack was on this video was unremarkable and the last one was fairly forgettable as well. I guess I will try to do multiple pre-releases for the next set.
This is a close one. Since I don't think OTJ pre-release packs comes with any special cards like MKM did, I'd give the edge to the bundles because of the full art lands. Will be interesting to see!
I think without a doubt the prerelease foils for notables make it the feistier gambit, but lowest pack cost is probs still the better choice in the long run.

Lost Caverns of Ixalan I pulled better cards from 2 prerelease packs than two of the collector's gift bundles but it's easy to think too much into it. Large scale tests would be interesting!
The prerelease packs to me is always worth it because of the promo card I agree if this sets bundle hd a special item like ixalan it would be sought after more I actually just purchased another prerelease bundle just because
While it is always random how good the cards are you pull. Put if you buy anything, always compare how much you pay for each Booster. Sure in some Packs you got stuff like Promos or Lands or whatever. But most the time those are not worth that much

Starting to recognize some of these cards from arena, there are some decent mechanics in this set.
I can't believe how much better the prerelease packs are.
They could do some more stuff than dice and simple boosters for bundles.
i still like the bundles more because of teh box it comes with :P
