    Wow the queue to get in was interesting. Literally no one about when we went early in the morning.
    Great memories of being with you when we visited there. I remember the lovely pastry I bought in the hawker place.
    Great vlog - great news about Jonty’s phone 😳 💜

      We were VERY relieved about the phone! Glad we got time to take you up there. Great spot to see everything you’d seen on your stay. X

    Another entertaining video that's just so relaxing and enjoyable to watch. Singapore is such a dynamic city and they do 'user friendly' incorporating all ages so well. Milly, I love your nail polish colours! Thanks for sharing.

      Ah thanks so much! We love how it’s so family oriented here for younger and older generations to experience things together. Thanks for the compliment on my nails, my nail artist is very talented. Any colour recommendations? I’m going Tuesday 😂

    Very few bloggers make any mention on the handicap friendliness of the various places. Ie. whether they are accessible to PMDs.

    • @WONDERLUSTworld
      @WONDERLUSTworld  ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess as we have had the kids in buggies and Jonty’s grandma, it’s something we consider!

    Wow, that's a long Q for the garden. I love that not too spicy rendang although most of my Indonesian families like everything spicy. So cool you took us to places I have never been when I visited Singapore last time.

    • @WONDERLUSTworld
      @WONDERLUSTworld  ปีที่แล้ว

      We didn’t have to wait too long actually in the queue there are two lifts taking people up with a surprisingly fast lift to go up! Rendang is one of our favourite dishes, I (Millie) prefer the not so spicy more coconut/ lemongrass version.

    Interesting! The food at your first stop, we locals call it mixed vegetables rice, not point, point lah!

      Haha we know, it's just what our family calls it - a little nickname we gave it!

    If you are a peranakan, check put true blue peranakan cuisine next to the peranakan museum. You will have a dining experience among peranakan antiques

      Jonty has been inside to do some filming for the Perenakan society and it looks beautiful. Have you eaten there before? I’ve heard good things.

      Ooh what do you recommend from the menu?

    • @matthewong1953
      @matthewong1953 ปีที่แล้ว

      @WONDERLUST usual favorites are buah keluak, a starter called pisang hati (heart of the banana)...I forget the namen9f some.of their dishes...ask your waitress to suggest a vegetable and soup dish. That should be enough for two. If you are bringing your kids you can ask them to suggest the less spicier dishes. Be careful of the sambal chilli...it is very spicy.

    I find the fat pigeon sculpture to be very hilarious.
    If you dabble in a little bit of architectural knowledge, you might suddenly see the whole old districts in a new light, and start to recognise the interesting architectural styles

      It’s by Bolero if I’m not wrong. There r quite a few of his sculptures scattered around SG.
      There’s a Liechtenstein at Marina Square, not easily found as it’s outdoor where foot traffic is light.

    • @WONDERLUSTworld
      @WONDERLUSTworld  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! Also to be able to recognise the age of certain buildings and therefore understand where the buildings or district sits in the timeline of the nation ❤️🙂
