I'm a 90s baby. I love old school stuff especially stuff from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. It's a shame their planning on demolishing that old house. If I was the owner of the property I would keep the retro style but have renovations done if needed. Like if the ceiling and roof showed signs of leaking I would have the roof replaced and the ceiling fixed of course. I would also probably have the carpets replaced with different colored carpets. I would also have most of the wallpaper replaced. That sord of thing is what I would do if I was the owner of the property.

If you leave the house without any power heating or cooling on that’s when you get the peeling walls and ceilings in the really bad damage so I would say the person probably paid for the power and all that to still be going so this doesn’t happen until they decided if they were going to live in it remodel or tear it down.

I would have had either avocado or burnt orange (or a mixture of both!) appliances and cabinets, not all-white and sleek. The plaid bedroom with the twin beds is perfect! I can give a guess on the history.....First, this is not an abandoned home.....The title is deceptive....The home is just outdated......my guess is the owners purchased the home when they were young, raised a family and all the children eventually grew up and moved out leaving the empty nesters in the home until very recently. The owners either, A.) retired and downsized and sold the house or B.) recently died and the estate sold the house.....The new owners, decided that tearing down this house and building a new modern home was more cost effective, among other things, than remodeling and renovating this abomination.....the people filming this very mundane and everyday occurrence figured that they would not get that many views narrating the facts and therefore, placed a deceptive title and overly exaggerated their reactions to an home that required updating (and also purposely placing the record they "found" in the closet for dramatic effects....ask yourself, "why video a closet?").....the majority of the youtube community who commented on this video apparently cannot think critically and actually believe the premise that this is an abandoned home, even though there is a ton of evidence showing otherwise (electricity, kitchen appliances/newer faucets, etc)......
