Thankfully Colorado hasn't gotten a lot of snow this year just -20 weather.... 😢😢 and I appreciate, like many of your other viewers, your honesty about life. I love you videos. You could just rant about like and I'd be like: "yesss, girl! I got ya!"
-20!!!!! YUCK!!! My worst nightmare - I HATE the winter & cold weather in general! 🥶 I'm so glad I've found friends like you & a space like this that appreciate the chaos of my real life 😂 It used to stress me out but now I think it makes things more interesting & fun! I love that we can rant "together" here in the comments! 💕
Totally know what you mean by bookish cravings - I'm in the middle of a big fantasy novel and I just had the biggest desire to read a mafia romance instead. It completely took over my thoughts until I gave in. 😂
Happens to me all the time!! Sometimes I'm thinking about what I want to read next & I'm not even halfway through the book I'm currently reading! 😂 & now you've made me crave a mafia romance!
I appreciate the "realness" of this video. As a mom of a preschooler and a toddler, I find it easier to just skip to Plan B because Plan A just never seems to happen. 😅 📚 For me, I've always been a slow reader, and I'm still coming out of a multi-year reading slump where the newborn life just took over everything else. But I'm really happy with myself if I can squeeze in 1-1.5 hours of reading in the evening after the kids are in bed.
Always going to get a plethora of realness here! 😂😂😂 I felt your Plan A / Plan B thinking deep in my bones - nothing ever goes as expected, but that makes things more fun (usually!) My reading pace is pretty average I think, but some books just go slower for me. I sometimes feel like I'm not absorbing the information as much as other times, & that definitely effects my reading pace. 1 - 1.5 hours is AMAZING! I always have to remind myself to prioritize reading & that helps! But yes, after the kids are in bed OR before they wake up in the morning is prime reading time! 📖☕️
My workload fluctuates a LOT so I can't be very consistent. But I feel like getting in about 2 hours a day is the sweet spot for me. This bout of sub-zero weather has upped my reading time this week because running errands etc is just not appealing.
My husband & I always joke around about how I hibernate in the winter 🥶🐻 I get my most reading done because the mere thought of venturing outdoors in sub freezing weather is a NO for me. 2 hours a day is AWESOME!
I've read Six of Crows in one day. It was probably around 8h of reading and after that I felt like my brain was liquid :D There is definitely a limit haha. But I loved the book, so it was fine. I read the most on the weekends, and usually on Monday I don't feel like reading at all because of that. Can't wait for more of your experiments with reading. :D 📖
That’s a long day! Makes total sense - for me, I find MOST of my reading is during the week because the kids are in school. Once the weekends roll around, I turn into an Uber for the boys & sports! 🤣🤣
Whenever I pre order from Barnes I always receive it on its publishing day, and I’m 15 minutes away from the Milford Barnes. Thats really weird that yours comes late. Love this video!!
Lucky duck!! 🦆 I've had nothing but issues with the last few releases where I get them a week after my delivery date says I should! It's annoying, especially when I'm excited to start the book! I was just in the Milford Barnes a few weeks ago - it's a good one! 💕
@@sheisbookedandbusy that’s so weird about the issues!! But yes the Milford one is amazing!!! Along with North Haven! But Milford is a little more organized than NH. But I hope the shipping gets better!
I totally understand the "momming" when it comes to video recording my responses and updates considering I have an almost 2 year old and a 7 year old. Editing is easy since my two year old actually enjoys watching the videos and me doing the process. Usually I am working on two videos at a time just in case something happens which as helped me not feel so stressed out. I think my average time with reading is four hours as well. I usually read an hour or 2 while my youngest naps and reading for 2 hours before going to bed. Fyi, I am over halfway through Divine Rivals and I am enjoying it. I keep thinking of my grandparents while reading this since both my grandpas were in the war.
It's always good when the kids can help! Mine bring the chaos, that's for sure! 😂 I'm glad you're enjoying Divine Rivals - I really liked it & for some reason, it kept giving me Outlander vibes!
Yeah the Barnes and noble delivery service is silly. Unfortunately I have to do it sometimes cause the nearest Barnes to me in both directions is an hour 😢😢
I've had nothing but problems with it! I feel as though I always get my book a week after I could have just walked in & bought it that day! 😤 But I'm lucky enough to live fairly close to a few Barnes, so it's not that inconvenient for me to go.
You're so sweet! If this is the level of chaos in my short little reading videos, would a whole week be TOOOOO much?!?!? 😂😂 I agree with 2-4 hours as an average for sure!
Life happens, we get it! I really enjoy your videos so I’m glad you didn’t scrap it!
I’m glad you’re here! & sometimes the videos that go off the rails a bit turn out the best! 🙂🙂

Hey Girly I enjoyed watching this video. This was fun to watch and I enjoyed the realness.🩷🩷
Hiiiiii!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed!! The crazy storm in CT definitely slowed me down but I pushed through!! ☃️

I definitely can’t do 4 hrs a day consistently. My work schedule is too demanding and I wish I had more time to read! I try to get 25 pages a night
Four hours is a LOT for sure! Any reading is quality reading! 🥰
📖 love your videos. You could do a week in my life vlog. I'd watch it. My sweet reading amount is 2-4hrs. Some days 6hrs.
