Great ideas! I managed 2 thrifted gifts this year. I found wine glasses with a red swirl pattern, added a tiny bottle of Prosecco to each, and put them in wine bags. My friends loved them.
Man you have some pretty 'high class' thrift stores where you live. When I go into a thrift store, I see nothing but junk! Nothing like what you've picked up!
Oh trust me, there is a lot of junk to sift through. I went to every thrift store in my two adjacent towns, multiple times over the course of a month or two for this many treasures! But it was so worth it in the end!

I love thrifting and love the idea of making baskets of gifts - it's not something we do so much in the UK. What I would love to know is how you wrap these gifts so that they are a surprise until it is time for them to be opened. I would love to see one or two of them wrapped! 😊
Thank you! I only wrapped these for surprises if it's for my family and they'll be under the tree. On the gift baskets for friends, I used cellophane and tied it with a pretty bow. 💕

I was just thrifting for gifts yesterday! Found a Mikasa lead crystal angel, Staiger quartz crystal clock, 1930's cobalt blue pitcher, etc-all for under $18!! And all in excellent condition. You have a great eye, I'm sure all the gifts you give will be well appreciated! And, btw, I have the same vintage looking Bluetooth radio you found for your son, and I love it! I've had had for 4 yrs and use it every day. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas!🎄

Brava to you for thrifting! I never go to Goodwill for a number of reasons but I love the remaining four in my area. The Humane Society Thrift Store was voted the best in our city of over 90,000 and that's the one I visit most often. Between that, my crochet and other crafts I do, and the Little Free Libraries I frequent, my gift giving is pretty well set.
I generally avoid Goodwill as well. However this year most of my finds were actually from Goodwill. But I did find some really great things at some of my local thrift stores which I definitely prefer to shop from whenever possible. The humane society thrift store was where I found those amazing leather boots! Love that place! And always handmade items are fun and thoughtful as well! Thank you!
