What’s one thing you’re thankful for this year?

Life and all that I have like family, a home, security and no real worries. Add a pinch of WD Detailing and its all good.
The people I get to call family and friends, and also life
I’m thankful for my wife of 18 years and my twin daughters. Nearly 3 years ago they were born, addicted to heroin. We became their foster parents at 9 days old and visited them at the NICU every day until day 18 when they went home with us. In March we officially adopted them and in April bought our first home. I quit using drugs about 2 weeks before they were born and quit smoking cigarettes a year later. I’ll be 3 years sober December 12. Without them I know I would not maintain sobriety or even have quit smoking
Thankful to have found this channel and I'm relatively healthy
Thankful for everything my God has give me
I’m thankful to come home everyday and have my dog waiting to greet me. This really turns my day around
The one thing I'm thankful for is. I met a beautiful girl in highschool we fell in love instantly but due to circumstances beyond my control I had to leave town for 2 years and she had moved on by then. That was 50 years ago and in August this year I left a comment on the video of our song save it for me by the four seasons. She saw it and put out an APB online to find me. An old friend of mine saw it and gave her my phone number. She called me we met for the first time in 50 years and plan to marry next year. That's what I'm thankful for
wow what a story much love!!
Wow.
❤❤❤
Wow man. Incredible story. Bless you guys
@@minerlover12 thank you
I DETAILED CARS FOR 50 YEARS FROM AGE 14 TO 64, ALL BY HAND ONLY, NEVER A BUFFER, OF COURSE MY SHOULDERS
AND KNEES ARE PAYING FOR IT, I MET SO MANY NICE PEOPLE, MY SON AND I DID 5 CARS IN ONE WEEKEND, I HAD SO MANY
CUSTOMERS, IT WAS A REAL AEROBIC WORKOUT AS YOU KNOW, I ENJOYED IT THOUGH. Most of the cars i did weren't as bad as the ones u guys do, never such messed up interiors, thank GOD!
I have to say, the classic Mercedes cars you guys are my favorite. Love the deep red color of this one that came out after you polished it. Amazing!
Love your channel!
Fun facts (in my grand-father case).. When such classic cars were available in Europe because of building quality (these engines are long lasting very reliable with little maintenance) but for its purchasing price it was considered a high end top class limousine compared to other cars back then and most of the owners who afford them were like from the upper class : doctors, executive directors, business-owners, lawyers, members of the parliament & diplomats.. etc Really glad you guys decided to save this "swallow tail" - Mercedes (called like that because of longer extensions forked tails over rear lights)..
We’ll do them as long as we can find them!
It is nice to see you all detail a nice barn find and not another rusty parts car.
Eure Videos zu gucken ist für mich so beruhigend und einfach geil. Das vorher und nacher zu sehen einfach hammer. Liebe Grüße und macht weiter so🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
The model number on MB is numbered based on the engine. 230=2.3 liter......that car is in really good shape! You guys did an excellent job!
SOS pads was exactly what I used on Whitewalls 60 years ago until I discovered Wesley's Bleach White with a brass bristled brush. Today it's called Black Magic Tire Cleaner. I still use it at 77.
Love that you guys clean the engine, trunk, and even the undercarriage! My favorite videos are when the car is passed over to another TH-camr for restoration. Awesome to see old cars back on the road.
I'm a mechanic at a small 3 man shop. We specialize in german cars. Too see this beautiful car brought back to gleaming shape is so good to see.
If only we had you in the area to help us! 😂
I am thankful for WD Detailing
Those MBs were built like tanks. Beautiful automobiles.
And you guys doing a wonderful job. Perfect.
I love the various "gems" you bring to the channel. This included vintage--yes--vintage cars of all kinds and other makes and models. You guys are hard workers and it shows which I can say we all love your videos!
Suggestions-On cars like this that are nice enough-consider cleaning the headliner, underside of hood and wheel wells. Also, never start a long-sitting car without flushing the fuel tank and fuel system first; you can damage the engine. As a local, Cleveland, 45 year car detailer, consider using Q-tips for getting into all the interior nooks and crannies like air vents, stuff like that. BTW-Despite my suggestions, for what my opinion is worth, you guys do nice work.
Popular cars here in Europe. Most were the 4 cyl Diesel versions. Bomb-proof but sluggish. These cars were designed without an accountant at the table. No bean counters. Only after the the cars were built, a pricetag was put on them. That's why a lot survive in great condition The parts supply is great.
Just saw a Mercedes yesterday on the road, probably a late 60s . A diesel that looked looked like the owner was about at the end of a full restoration. Beautiful, It made my day.😀✌️
I'm thankful for my puppy and best friend as well as my health and ability to be able to cook
I am thankful for @WDDetailing's very satisfying videos
My father in Sweden bought a new one in 1966 and paid USD 2700 ( SEK 27.000 ). It was baby blue with red MB Tex interior. Same motor as in Pagoda 230SL but not with Bosch Injection. Great work!
Great job gentlemen! Another sweet story. Getting the vehicles running is like the cherry on top! Someday I'll make a trip to check out what you guys do if you'll have me.
I am thankful for WD Detailing. I really like the quality of your shows. You pick great cars. My entry to my passion of classic car restoration began 60 years ago washing cars at the shopping center at Edwards AFB in California. The car culture their was strong. In 1967 Bill's Auto Detail was my after school job my senior year. The summer of 1967 I detailed cars for Shorty Harper in Santa Monica at the corner of 7th Street and Wilshire Blvd. We detailed many movie stars cars and amazing cars. You are wonderful. Happy Thanksgiving!
Great work gents. You guys should try to put together a little car show with some of the past cars you have brought back to life.
That's a great idea!
That would look beautiful in white
Yes i think so too
Any color except Brown & Pale Green or Pink.
Really enjoyed this ! I remember those on the road in the '60's !
It is beautiful model.❤
This is corney I know but I am thankful there are people like you guys in the world. I know you help people kick start projects that would probably never happen. And, who knows, it could help someone that has financial difficulties or some struggles get back on track if they are selling a project that’s worth quite a bit more after you guys finish it up. Good deeds never go unnoticed or unappreciated
I'm thankful for family and friends and waking up every day
Truthfully guys this is your best one to date!! That car definitely needs the engine fixed. That would be a Sunday driver for sure!
Love it! This car will be running long after all the cars made today. Did you know Mercedes was/is a leader in car safety and invented the 3 point belt? You did a wonderful job on it. Thanks.
R.J. and Mike are amazing! Thank you,
Old Mercs are so cool and stylish.
Thanks making old car shine again
Thankful for family, health, friends and all of your great content!
What a gorgeous car! I love old Mercedes (I drive a 1982 300td) and this one you’ve found is in great shape… and you have made it shine like new! I hope the owners get it mechanically sorted and on the road… which by the looks of things shouldn’t take much. Right now I’m very grateful for a lazy Saturday morning and the time to enjoy watching a very satisfying car detail video!
You guys make detailing fun to watch! Keep going boys
The spray bottom to top technique erks me. Lol. I'm thankful for a second at life after my motorcycle accident I had last year. I'm blessed to still be alive 🙏🏼
When I was young I was very picky about my cars. Cleaned them, wash, polish, etc. But now I am old so I enjoy watching you young fellas do the work, you do a great job.
Love an old mercedes video!!
I'd love to see more of the polishing process if possible. Great vid again!
I'm thankful that I've found you guys and enjoy watching.
What a beautiful car! Terrific job on this 1967 230. I think you are the best detailers on YT, always finding the most interesting cars to bring back to life. This car shows the precision and workmanship of older Mercedes...it's a classic tank!
I look forward to your weekly videos and the buried treasures you find!
Thanks so much for sharing, and have a great Thanksgiving!!!
Hi guys, you always make a perfect job - I love it !👍👍👍👍👍
I'm 65 years old and from Germany, and like my father did I drove a lot of Mercedes Benz types in my life.
So I specially like your cleaning of Mercedes Benz cars fom the 60th and 70th.
But in one thing you are wrong, here and with some of your other Mercedes projects:
the seats are not real leather, but the classical and so called MB Tex - a kind oi leatherette, which you find in that style only in Mercedes Benz cars.
i'm thankful for my mom she's helped me through alot she takes care of me
Any detailer can make a new car look new again but you guys.... JUST WOW. Your videos and reveals are top tier and always a cavalcade of surprises.
Mercedes-Benz used to make bank vault quality motorcars that were meant to last with only maintenance needed to see them into 30, 40, or even 50 years of usage.
Look at the plastic gimmicky garbage on lots right now that looks 30 years old with 10 years of normal usage.
Thank you for saving another and bringing her glory and respect back.
At 82 years old I am thankful to be vertical most of the day, to be able to be functional by taking care of myself, and to have my wife and a few friends and family participating in my life.
You guys finding all these “barn finds” just caused my bs meter to go off the scale. Now it’s broken! Thanks!
Brilliant episode, love the car. My dad had one just like it in navy blue.
Nice Fintail. You guys do an excellent job. Proud that you're from the Cleveland area too.
Benz is the father of the automotive industry.....greetings from Jamaica 🇯🇲.
I am thankful for you guys, you are my Saturday morning meeting with the boys! Love the cars you find, love how you make them look, love how you look, and long to know the outcome of some of these beauties. Did they run, were they fully restored, etc., etc. Please continue with your fabulous channel, you guys do not disappoint! Hugs and blessings!
I love these old Mercedes before 1972. After, they started to build tanks, big, heavy without grace.
I'm thankful to have a loving family of my own, a job, a roof over my head, food in my belly and the knowledge to fix and repair things on my own without having to hire someone to do it for me.
I'm thankful for being able to move back to northeast Ohio to be near my family, friends, and Wd Detailing!
Jesus, where do you always find these gems? You must spend hours and hours off camera ... a beauty, great job!
Great work watching from South Africa, i am thankful of my family and friends and to be able to take a day as it comes
I am thankful for my good health and discovering WD.
I am very thankful to @MADDETAILING and you guys for making a collaborative video! It was the most amazing video I ever saw of a vehicle detailing on TH-cam! Hope you guys make such videos more often whenever possible!
‧
Im thankful for yall making these videos for us
That Instrument Panel is awesome!!!!!
I'm thankful to wake up every morning I'm also thankful for my family
Thank you for cleaning the car everyday and seeing this everyday in my TH-cam
Great job on this car. Gorgeous. The quality of those Mercedes is simply astounding. I suspect you are going to need traditional chrome polish to get the beauty rings back to the proper look. I believe they may be aluminum that was highly polished. Either way they should be as bright and shiny as the rest of the trim.
That is not leather on those seats. That is a vinyl called MBTex. It is still used by Mercedes-Benz. My brother had an 85 300SD with it. There were 3 interior trims offered. MBTex, cloth, or leather
I'm thanking you for the hard work you do and I'm thanking God for letting me be alive today
One of my favorite entertainments is watching other people work. Thanks.
"Tiptop" shape 😂😍 best wishes from germany❤
Outstanding work on a beautiful car. Well done.
your basicly the only person that details cars than junkyard digs or mcool and others
thankful i got a chance to serve my country
Absolutely beautiful. Stunning vehicle.
Love the work you are doing on all the classic cars. Wish I was back in Ohio to meet the team you. Great job, keep on doing it.
That was delightful. What a beautiful motorcar.
thanks for the engine start sound at the end , its just awesome
Great job, as usual. Gorgeous car!
I loved my darkred Mercedes!
230 E...such a beauty.
Such a beautiful car! I love those old Mercs.
Awesome job guys ❤❤
This Is a Mercedes Benz W111 Heckfosse 1959 to 1971 and this make of Mercedes Benz are my favourite well done keep the videos up
Superb.
I find your episodes to be cathartic.
I feel better after viewing them.
Nice work gentlemen. 🙏
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy them :)
I love this channel. This is the best channel ever. I love cars, and so satisfying.
Thankful for the trip down memory lane you just gave me. My very first car was a 1967 230 SEL, Silver. I bought it in 1982 while stationed in VA Beach. Those dual carburetors are Zenith Inat 35/40’s and a giant pain to synchronize. Not sure what the difference between the S and the SEL was, but mine only had single headlights on each side and was a manual transmission. 11mpg on the highway by the way, if you are lucky. I ended up selling it a few years later before taking a job overseas after I got out of the navy. One last thought. The exhaust manifold has a heat operated valve that can affect the engine operation if that coil spring is stuck.
It's in lovely condition, and that lovely red. As soon as you put water on it, I knew that the paint would look like that, once it's polished.
Nice info on the bucket. Though you pulled out a dirt lock. They work much better than a grit guard.
I’m thankful for you guys I’m a car washing Geek ,watch all your videos for tips my wife’s car and mine you would be disappointed there filthy just keeps raining keep posting keeps me sane cheers guys Paul uk 👍
Hey, you wanted something I am thankful for... I am definitely thankful for my two kids, they really fulfilled my life. AND being in a situation of not needing help and getting along quite well. by the way ... I really like every one of your videos, but being from Germany I just love them old Porsches and Mercedes!! Keep going!!
I suspect the "leather" is actually MB-tex which is a Mercedes_Benz vinyl product that will outlast Cher. The rear design of these models was unfortunate with a somewhat Rambler vibe.
I’m Thankful for the turn of events in my life that have made it possible to move into an apartment with proper heating and is safe. 🙏🙏
Simple, gorgeous, elegance! Better than anything built today!
Awesome candidate for a mild restoration! Nice job, gentlemen!
عمل رائع جدا"
بارك الله فيكم
وهكذا عادت الملكة للحياة من جديد
Love your work. This car is lovely. I used to have a white one with red interior. They drive surprisingly well for a car that old
Wish u guys do some oil change, filters, some kind of normal service before starting the engines sitting for so long, you can only destroy the engines this way. Cheers
Crazy how nice those white walls still look
I am thankful to see a heckfloose i had a 64 220s like the one u datailed it took me 3yrs to restore i am gald to see one on your channel

Gorgeous Car Guys it's a Classic another Great Video hope it starts 👍
Thankful for my Uncle Dick who passed away in May...he was such a good example of a friendly caring person.
I'm thankful and grateful that both of my sons who are serving in the US Army are safe from harm and how proud I am of their success!!
