- The Secret of Chinese Crab meat & Sweetcorn Soup
You will need:
Crab (seafood) sticks
Ginger
1/2 pan of hot water (not boiling)
1 can sweetcorn (half blended)
1-2 eggs, whisked
Spring onion is optional
Garlic salt
Pepper

I just made this and added a few things. A good splash (approx desert spoon) of light soy sauce and about half the spoon of fish sauce. Salt, pepper and a quarter teaspoon of chilli and also garlic. It tastes amazing.
I can't wait to try your delicious recipe tho' I have been making and thoroughly enjoying an equivalent soup, though with two important different differences:a) I have always had to content myself with a minute amount of shredded meat canned in water in a teeny-tiny littlecan; I had never thought of using the sticks of 'prepared' crab meat so close by on the supermarket shelves; and b) I have had years of success using one can of creamed corn, instead of the drained can of corn kernels - before you sta adding the other essential ingredients, such as extra pepper, white, black and aleppo, chili flakes, whole green Thai chiles, lightdark soy, even oyster sauce, whatever to your hearts content. You can even beat the egg yolks and egg whites seperately so that they can be added seperately to the soup, resulting in true 'egg drop' Chinese soup, just before serving! Congrats to you for this excellent recipe!!!
