Cool demo, is the lighting of the nerf reflected on the BP_ThirdPersonCharacter (or any other mesh object) or do I need to capture an HDRI of the environment after scanning it?
Thanks for the great content! I'm getting an error message (This project requires the 'LumaAIPlugin' plugin, which could not be found) when trying to open the LumaAIFilmStarter. Any ideas on how to resolve this so I can import my LumaAI scenes? Thanks!
That would indicate the plugin is not installed. The project they provide has the plugin installed in the plugins folder, ensure it is fully unzipped and open in the correct version of unreal or else install the plugin from the marketplace
ok, what for tho, single object scans will be easier and easier in future, but whole enviro or playground type of meshes is always just an useless mess and always will be, that even the advanced ai for environment in future, will grab premade trees and bushes and use point cloud only for placement of assets, and same with play crawl thingy will be replaced by new spline meshes instead full data from scan. The combination of both methods will be the future of generating 3D. More push for content creators to adjust carrier onto dev road, because 3D modeler will become obsolete field, as ai will bring fast inflation of prices, once 11 years old kid without skills will do better optimized model with finger in his nose, while u needed years of knowledge to do same.
will be really interesting to see how this develops

great video, keep them posting ! This is a future tehnology with a lot of space for improvements.
How can I add light ?
very good for a scene sequence. For all the rest: no real collision and no movement allowed, hard to create a gameplay there.
Do you think full mesh of scene or object would be best?

@@MrKams1 thanks for your help! I’ll give that a go.
LiDAR??
Great stuff, Nerfs will disrupt 3D modelling!
