Would it be ok to do the microdermabrasion with diamond tips instead of the crystal one? Those machines are pricey. Thank you

You can use crystal-free, but not on inflamed skin. The crystal is preferred because they help dry excess oil. Crystal-free can be beneficial for abrading and promoting circulation. Use a disposable tip or be sure to autoclave a diamond tip.

my cousins has adult acne.. and black heads and scarring. so I want to do him some microdermobrasian with chenical peel. I have a varied peels but I know you shouldn't really do heavy peels with the MD too.. would 20% be too much do you think. I have 15% tho too . and can do one of them. and would you repeat this a week later x

You can use a light glycolic peel or light salicylic peel and a pass of crystal microdermabrasion every 4-6 weeks. Every 2 weeks or so, in between those treatments, you can do a basic deep clean and extraction facial -- ultrasonic and high frequency works well for this. If his acne is still active use discretion, you don't want to over-stimulate his skin.

Hello, why not doing a salicylic peel or a peel specific for acne such as mandelic or even azelaic? Thanks

It depends on the skin. Glycolic helps with congestion and dehydration without drying the skin. It also is a great peel to use in winter months to prevent over-drying during the season. For teen skin, we use a glycolic, salicylic, or jessner blend depending on how the skin looks and how the client will care for their skin at home.
