If you want to cut down on you kodiak clears by about 85 percent, put on sixthsense, the fast heal, and no critical injury perks, fly in chopper and crash it in the back cave /overhang of kodiak where large green building is tucked. Take cover next to desk of back doorway. Mow down horde of angry wolves running in. Rinse repeat. Snipers and bot optional for time sake. Grenade self to reset. Bout a 3 minute process lol. Extended mags recommended
tbh its not hard once you get high end gear. once you have those, it seems like you get a higher chance of getting purples and yellows.. at least for me anyway
This is the best way, i'm a bit dissapointed that I have to farm gear in a game that is supposed to be tactical shooter, but atleast on 250 I can start playing properly
Oh, I took Kodiak out on all the hardest difficulty settings first try. The camp I can’t pull off is the wolf base that is on an island that only has that base and a SAM (not Walker’s base) because it has like 50 guys and drones.
I did this camp on arcade mode gear 88 snipered nearly all camp from the sniper tower bottom of camp which you did most of your fighting in this video, I sniper as many enemies I can before I move in and finish the rest off.
I'm stuck ... Getting no higher than my current gearscore now... at lvl 233. Starting at lvl 220 I only got one item max every 1-3 runs (higher than my gearscore) Been stuck for days now
e'Alldayanyday1 On The PS4', I know that you have probably figured most of these things out by now (a month later), but here are some tips about killing Wolves, and close shooting with a sniper rifle. If you already know these things by now, that's great but they can help others too. :-) ALWAYS shoot for the head. You can kill them with body-shots but NOT one shot like the non-wolves. EVEN the TAC50 cannot kill a wolf with one shot to the body. Body-shots can take LOTS of shots to kill them, and and then USE lots of ammo. One-shot on wolves must be to the head. Also you need to use either a different scope to do close up shots or learn how to switch from ADS (aim down sights), to the 3rd person view (press 'Left ALT' on PC, don't know with PS4's & XBox). IF I expect to get CLOSE then I use either the "DUAL Range" scope or something like either the Digital, or the TA31A, the MID-RANGE scopes. I JUST played Camp Kodiak and for me I only got drops of plus ONE point! However, I was about to go up anyway, so I was HOPING I WOULD GO UP TWO, but after playing at level 246 for THREE DAYS (8+ hours per day) and killing FOUR different Behemoths in that same THREE DAYS!! LIKE MAN how much in POINTS does this take anyway??? In Ghost Recon Wildlands we ALWAYS KNEW how many points we had earned for the NEXT LEVEL, and how many more points we needed to go to the NEXT LEVER. They should have let the original Wildland programmers DO MORE of the work. I saw a video of the French spokesman for Ghost Recon at the E3 this year, and he said that they only had 200 employees when they started with G.R. Wildlands, but now they have over a 1,000 more employees!! So that explains why Breakpoint is so MUCH DIFFERENT than Wildlands was, and not in any GOOD WAYS. There are some things I LOVE about this game, but NOT the mechanics, movement, loot system, or some of the other TERRIBLE ideas that the new people implemented!! I have heard quite a few players and TH-camrs say, "THIS is the worst Ghost Recon Game Ever??" LOL, I still love the game but HATE some of the dumb things in the mechanics of the game.
@J C because PC allows for many different, and better graphics settings, it looks much less detailed, vibrant, animated, realistic, etc on console. Like not even close. I didnt think it would be such a big difference but im glad i ended up getting it for PC. I was debating between ps4 or PC version of the game
I have a high end pc, but bought it on console cause i do a lot of pvp and the player population is higher and also the multiplayer takes longer to die off. But if i only played solo, i would definitely buy it for pc.

And everyone who farms to max GS in one day will act just like Division farmers who got bored because they have everything. I give it a week before people get bored because they farmed 250 GS.
A lot of people don’t touch anything story mission related until they are done grinding so as to have plenty of content to experience after all the chores are done. I’ve done a mix of grinding and some faction, and side mission content. It’s slowed down my GS grind but it’s broken up some of the slower GS plateaus to overcome. I particularly noticed it was slow to pass the 40s, the 90s, and 150-170. After 170 it seemed like getting to 190 just magically happened when I blinked (probably took a few hours of enjoyable but un-noticed wandering though). Currently at 240ish and just started grinding elite missions towards the end of the last two nights playing.
This shit isn't supposed to be a fucking mindless loot grind game...that's not supposed to be the appeal...ghost recon is supposed be about the stealth and tactical stuff, teamwork when playing with others etc...if that's what you want you wont get bored... This gear score and loot shit just gets in the way of what ghost recon should be about, it detracts from the experience making the developers and gamers lose focus...it shouldn't need a carrot to keep you mindlessly farming mobs or replaying the exact same shit over and over again the exact same way, that kind of repetitive incentive based gameplay is for people who have the mentality of hamsters running on wheels or the zombies you see in casinos pulling slot machine levers. This game needed better A.I...more polished animations and mechanics...not a fucking social hub, a always online service or shitty division style loot.

Teamwork, flanking, the ability to climb ladders, maybe being able to use smoke and flash bangs to clear rooms and choke points. The enemy A.I has zero patience or brains and wont hold their ground or a strong tactical position, they don't even guard objectives...they just rush one after another into the same room, corridor or doorway...even if ten of their buddies bodies are piled up at the entrance...what's the fucking rush?...why can't they surround a location? box you in and wait you out, find another route? or just hold their ground? They can't track you through the jungle or across the terrain, there's zero logic or sense to their search patterns, they don't use waves of suppressing fire, they don't have any standard equipment like grenades never mind anything high tech (except for those annoying shitty drones), no special spotter soldiers with thermal or night vision...they don't react to wounds, display pain, panic or fear...the game has a cool injury system and the enemies are completely immune and ignore it...why? Put em in squads, add a medic and tracker class, make it so they can be wounded and injured, give em smoke, fire, flash and shrapnel grenades etc...add a "morale" or psychological warfare system...so that they do something other than just push forward and rush the player...at least give em the ability to climb fucking ladders. The A.I doesn't behave differently if they're indoors or outdoors, they don't check corners, or file up in buildings they don't spread out in lines or sweep in grids outside...they can't even lay down or go prone and they don't crouch unless they're in cover. At the moment all the A.I does is push forward, shoot and barely take cover.
Sounds like you should take a canned air spray and blow out your PlayStation what makes it do that is because it’s got build up inside of it and eventually you could fry your PlayStation if you don’t clean it out that’s one of the most common problems anyways I killed most all the enemies in this camp at 150 I got some pretty decent loot I’m just having a hard time climbing from 150 to 200 I’ve also only had the game for five days but I’m on quarantine so

Don't play it very often. BUT the gear scores goes up pretty fast until you hit level 100, and then it's slows down, but even slower after you hit 200. When I hit 230 it slowed WAY DOWN! Then from 240 to 250 it took me like a week, playing 6 to 10 hours every day!!! One tip make SURE that you get rid of ALL of your lower scored gear! ALL OF IT. Sell of dismantle all of them them. You can get buy with 3-4 weapons and only ONE piece of each clothing item. IF you want to go UP, you can't hoard anything!! Sometimes you can buy higher scored gear (weapons and clothes) at the store. Try to bring UP EVERYTHING that you can. Like if you are at say 245, but have some gear at 242-244 try to replace it with something you can buy, and dismantle it if you are not using it. Twice I got stuck at one score for 3 days, like in the 240 to 250 range, but when I sold and dismantled ALL of my gear except the very highest, then within 10-15 minutes my score jumped up.

@@chrismarroquinm I could be mistaken but I believe that there is some type of hidden time limit to get those kills. I also believe that picking up ammo may count as reloading.
I have a one problem for some reason. I can't craft any weapons on 250 GS...only 248.....I'm GS 250 just like all the gear that I'm wearing and weapons. Is there a way to craft 250 weapons or only 248 ?
@@Alldayanyday1OnThePS4 Ah okay...but you only need a few 251 parts to get 251 GS I think...after that... the craft thing should be 250...and then I can get back to the normal 250 gear that is "hopefully" dropping and start building.
you have to do the elite faction missions that drops gear up to 252 but if you are unlucky it could take you a few days or weeks for the stuff to drop.

SAMUEL KING I got to 267 from Defeating two of the raid bosses. While in the raid and defeating camps you can get higher gear from opening chests. Now while I was playing the story mission I was getting 254 drops from chests. As days went on I stopped getting 254+ gear. I’m guessing it was a glitch.That’s why I’m complaining and asking.

Don’t farm. Progression in this game is well balanced. You will be playin the last 30-20% percent of the game maxed out. If you max out earlier all the rewards for your accomplishments will be pointless.

Safest way to farm this place is to take 2 lmgs and go to the buildings under the cliff, easier to defend with some good cover (drones won't bother u)

I think its now easier with the pathfinder class. Just use the armaros interface a few times and the base is almost cleared.

Eh..I have over 110 hours and still enjoying the game..an update is also releasing too

@@chrismarroquinm I could be mistaken but I believe that there is some type of hidden time limit to get those kills. I also believe that picking up ammo may count as reloading.

I have a one problem for some reason.
I can't craft any weapons on 250 GS...only 248.....I'm GS 250 just like all the gear that I'm wearing and weapons.
Is there a way to craft 250 weapons or only 248 ?
You'd have to reach around 251, at least for me that's what happened..I had to reach 251 in order to hit the 250 crafting

Only target 250 locations. Anywhere else won’t give you items of enough boosted levels to push your GS higher. 👍🏻

Mine isn't giving me plus shit I'm stuck at 249 for two days now nothing dropping any higher
you have to do the elite faction missions that drops gear up to 252 but if you are unlucky it could take you a few days or weeks for the stuff to drop.
The gear score does go up pretty fast until you hit 100, and then it's slows, down but even slower after you hit 200. When I hit 230 it slowed WAY DOWN!
Then from 240 to 250 it took me like a week, playing 6 to 10 hours every day!!!
One tip make SURE that you get rid of ALL of your lower scored gear. Sell of dismantle ALL of them. You can also sometimes buy higher scored gear (weapons and clothes) at the store. Try to bring up EVERYTHING that you can. Like if you have say some 247-248 try to replace it with something you can buy.
Once I got stuck at one score like you, but then I sold and dismantled ALL of my gear except the very highest, then within 10-15 minutes my score jumped up.
Could just go to 150, then now just go into the raid and get to 240-260 from killing all 4 bosses ;)
Im 249 but the only loot i get is 247. Even at the shop the max i can craft is at 247. Any ideas or help?
Sometimes itll take some time for the drops and shop items to catchup

SAMUEL KING I got to 267 from Defeating two of the raid bosses. While in the raid and defeating camps you can get higher gear from opening chests. Now while I was playing the story mission I was getting 254 drops from chests. As days went on I stopped getting 254+ gear. I’m guessing it was a glitch.That’s why I’m complaining and asking.

You can take out the 250 level wolves with headshots using a sniper rifle, I've done it while level 80

@@nomeey4810 It works well but it is tough to do solo, I cleared it around 10 times moved up a few gear score but then went to farming behemoth tanks for a few hours which also works well to 👍

@@carlharvey7328 I did also have it on the easiest difficulty which threw me off not gonna lie, because the aim assist gets HEAVILY increased, so I wasn't use to the autosnapping, I tend to actually snipe better and play better on extreme or the raid in general. Rarely play on easy but only did because of farming purposes

Don’t farm. Progression in this game is well balanced. You will be playin the last 30-20% percent of the game maxed out. If you max out earlier all the rewards for your accomplishments will be pointless.
