- Getting standard weapon parts in Ghost Recon Breakpoint at high level can be difficult, and you need them to upgrade your weapons. Here's an easy and repeatable trick to farm all the standard weapon parts you'll need!

Apparently, after the new patch you can now buy standard weapons, even at the level cap. At the time this video was made there was no way to obtain them aside from farming drones. Still though, I'd rather farm drones than shill out 500 credits for each part.

A tip : you can watch movies on flixzone. Been using it for watching loads of movies lately.

Damn this sucks, after 6 runs at these drones in this area I have had one drone drop standard weapon parts once :(Ubisoft need to patch in the purchasing of parts/resources from the base camps for a small amount of Skell credits
Agreed. I have so many weapons half way to mark 3. Standard weapon parts are killing me.
Metal parts too. Yeah, they can be picked up off the ground in some areas; but not at the rate needed to support mk3 upgrading
If you go to the main store and talk to the girl, she usually sells standard guns you can buy for 500 each.. Yeah itll cost you some money (not real money) but you can dismantle the guns and get those standard parts.. Hope this helped!
Dark Dally I just used your method but upgraded and evolved it further. So pretty much what I did was I started from the top of the map and did every single Aamon node because all of them are the same with just different gear scores. But this way you don't have to keep logging out and logging in, if you just feel like that is slow. Because some people may have slow hard disks. Like me, so I just clear the whole map. I did it in my stream, if my explanation isn't good.
Thanks for much needed tip! You also need them to spot and shoot at you to acquire weapon parts. It seems to be every other time they spawn they drop weapon parts and it rotates between standard or improved and usually only one drone drops parts.

personally I've had nothing but fun with this game, but I realize fun is subjective.
There are points where i find gathering parts can be more of a chore than fun.

Keep in mind that there is a camera on top between the canons, that's their critical point, not the glowing spots
the camera stuns them, but the glowing part is their crit point. so shoot the camera for a stun, then melt the glowing part.
@@maximusgladi8or glowing spot is weak point sure, but 1 good hit with a sniper rifle vs 3 shots to glowing spots, but what do i know?
@@matyman69 ok hitting the camera does a good bit of damage , but 1 you have to hit with a sniper and that is if they ever stop moving for a second, the downside is that after you hit it it disappears and by then you now have 2 of these things shooting you at the same time, and even on easy is still a difficult feat. IDK what god gun you have to be able to just 1 hit them but I used the HTI and got 1 camera hit, then switched to AR to just melt them.
so 2 things, ok you are correct it does do a lot of damage, I stand corrected, no need to sound like an asshole I don't sit in my moms house and play all day.
the second thing is not everyone is going to have access to this 1 hit god gun you have from the get go, so my advice is to say ":hit the camera for the damage and the stun then melt the glowing section with a good AR, SMG, LMG, or automatic DMR"
@@maximusgladi8or panther class, keep 150+ metres away, my go to snipers are tac 50, scorpio, and HTI.
Hit and run, and hold breath as they are about to stop, should give you enough time to get a second hit when necessary
I don't know if that's the stun or crit point but I do know that on turrets that is their crit point

Bullpup PDR is far superior handle and accuracy wise..damage wise theyre both equal and theyre both the same in RPM..Bullpup PDR though has the best handling and accuracy

What a dumb design; perhaps Ubi needs to update the drop rates or give us the ability to further break down parts themselves, take Advanced weapon parts and break them into improved parts and break them down into standard parts or sell them in the Maria’s shop.
Christopher Hopkins I had the same thought. Hopefully they’ll update soon with something like this in place but not to be purchased will real money.
I like the idea of breaking parts down smaller. Would be a good add. If any changes made they will probably sell them Lol.
for me, this method didn't really work and i only got 1 part after 3 rounds. i found that one if not the only way you can get them easily is to buy the black and green items in the shop and recycle them. (ps. if u want to do this i would recommend use the better dismantle perk)
Another way I found to get standard weapon parts is to get the convoys, and they will drop standard weapons.
Edit: you can have the perk on for better stuff whoops
Tristan S G S also the perk is somewhat false I have the better loot perk I just get standard and a blue weapon basically 2 weapons
@@trapgxdbxch6616 yeah same. I think the drone method is more fun anyway and easier to find. Don't always have the time to hit a convoy if I'm mid mission.
I’ve been buying standard weapons from the shop pretty cheaply and breaking them down just for the parts. Seemed a better way to spend my Skell credits than buying tattoos I never see or vehicles I don’t need.
You can also farm the non combat drones like the forklift drone, the sorting drones, but only during the day time
Rev’s Vids didn’t know that. I’ve never bothered shooting them if they weren’t enemy drones.

Thanks for this video, I found it helpful. I would like to add that if you are around Gear level 220+, you may sometimes get advanced weapon parts instead of standard so you just have to keep on killing the Aamon drones repeat the process to get some standard parts.

I'm currently playing the hardest difficulty and the trick works the same except you need a large caliber weapon and a keen aim for shooting the drone camera. It's like playing with two zombies with eyes keeps growing back.
Standard weapon parts can come off drones.. but I've also found that if you have your mini map on, across the world there is white blobs.... go over and pick them up and they can also give you standard weapon parts too

I and all my friends find it just fun. ignore the criticisms of the game and if you think it looks fun, then buy it. I have a blast and play it constantly now. But everyone will have their own experience.
I can second that. I debated getting the game because of all the hate it was getting but it's actually really fun. If you liked wildlands, you'll like this. It's more like wildlands than it is the division
I personally talked a lot of $hit about it because of the rpg aspects, but it is indeed fun. The gear score doesn't affect you too much except with drones and the Wolves and that's manageable.
If you're going to play coop though, you might want to hold off for a couple weeks to a month to give Ubi time to sort out synchronization issues.

This is an incredibly useful bit of knowledge that likely saved me hours of frustration, at the time, had I not watched it. All of my favorite weapons are now Mk3 which makes me a happy Ghost. :)
Note: If you just recently started playing you can buy weapons from Maria in Erewhon that will dismantle into standard weapon parts.
Whats the point in uo grading a gun to level 3? Youll only find the same gun a few gear scores up and then dismantle the up grade.and repeat all the way to the top gear score .
@@john-t_smith7781 My gear score was 252 at the time I upgraded them to Mk3. Until then I usually didn't click on the parts to upgrade weapons and instead ignored them for the reason you mentioned.
I still have a metric crap ton of weapon parts, and get more all the time as you know, so I can upgrade new weapons if I want.

Go to the murmur patrol in smugglers cove theres 5 drones sometimes I'll get 15 standard parts if they all drop some. Just kill all 5 loot them and relog over and over until satisfied. Murmur's are way less bullet spongy too so enjoy hope i helped!
Ive been shooting down the small transport drones that fly over every now and then. Gives all kinds of loot including standard weapons parts.

Thanks for uploading this. I’ve maxed out my main weapons but I’m trying to get the other weapons done now and I’m stuck with not getting standard weapon parts since I’m over 170 gear score and I’ve unlocked the perk for the convoys.
Just to add, I’ve just tried this and I didn’t get any weapon part drops at all. Possibly patched out?

I've done this 3 times in a row and have gotten nothing but electronic parts. I also tried farming drones on egg island like another fellas video advised to do and nada. Not about to spend real money to upgrade just a handful of guns.

If u use the drone repellent spray, u become invisible to drones as long as ur in stealth, if ur having trouble just use one and spray the drone point blank =3
Does still work even with max tree, just a smaller chance, but does indeed give standard weapon parts, not that hard to get, I’m guessing 1in4 ish, that’s what I was getting

Get in cabin, toss emp grenade out door at drone and shoot with LMG (can block one door with helicopter.) Easiest way, shoot ground drones with missiles from helicopter.. I think the mark II helicopters have unlimited missiles.
since death also reloads the world shouldn't dropping a grenade on yourself respawn them a bit faster than relogging? just for those that don't mind going kamikaze to farm a tad bit faster.

Max out the Panther class for the Scorpion Evo CQC. The Scorpio Scout Quiet is from a pre order bonus but you can get the Scorpio Scout from maxing the Sharpshooter class.

ok - so another way ubi screwed up thier mess of gear score - so you either have to farm all weapons (how many are in breakpoint?) and upgrade them before you get to high to get standard parts - or have to rely on such re-log tactics - another reason on my already long list to only grab this game on cheap

Look closely at the icon the Aamon nodes all have the same icon. A bit different to Mumur and Behemoth nodes.
(For people just starting) couldn’t you keep your starter gear? It’ll make the system reward you with gear at that level

How do you remove a gun from a loadout tho? Cannot get rid of certain guns, there are a lot of guns that just stick themselves to your current loadout without you actually doing it yourself.

you make it look so easy. My guns hardly do any damage against them
The area is level 100, but in this vid I'm like level 134 and my SMG just burns them down. aim for the eye first. that stuns it. reload and then start blowing off the armor, then aim for the glowy stuff.
a "burst" is not an entire clip dally, you should know this

Just do the behemoth farm, and then buy standard weapons from the shop and scrap them its much faster
Egg island is nothing but drone city. Thats another location to farm them. The respawn rate is fast. I use my heli with mk II rockets

@Darkdally I would love to test the Sniper Rifles with you! I have most unlocked and would like to find out what the Sniper with the best Range and so on is. Also i noticed some weird things from the game while sniping from longer distances that i want to test further. Seems around 350m-400m+ the bullets go to a grid similar to Wildlands. If you are interested, I play on pc and my uplay name is CaptnSteveUbi.
Pixely Charge Tac-50 for best range my friend. Even better if you get the range bonus on an Elite drop. Maximizes then range completely. I got lucky around 220 and got an Elite Tac-50 with Range and Accuracy bonuses
This is a stupid problem to have they need to rethink this luckily I got the guns I use most to mk3 early on

I just dismantle everything I don’t use, guns and clothing gear. You get plenty of parts. Really liking this game, and I was skeptical early on before Beta. Terminator is going to be insane!

Theres no need to farm parts or up grade the wepones. Not till you reach the highest gear score any way .
Sorry to ask something off topic, but where did you get that 5.11 boonie hat, with the flaps down. The game says it's in Maria's store but I don't see it. I even bought fixit character/outfit to see if it was part of a set but no luck.

Oddly, at 180+gs my problem is never enough improved weapon parts and yet to find a decent way to farm them

So i get a level 7 AK74 and every Assault rifle i get up to level 24 dont come near to matching the guns ratings Should i keep using the highest rated guns (bars) or the highest level guns

Um I know this is old but how do you get advanced parts?
So could someone tell me / help me please, I have been collecting Blue weapons as they say advanced - yet Green mostly has higher number so which should I be more bothered about Green with higher number / or Blue advanced with lower number / find this confusing easy if just collecting the higher numbers .. etc but then you also have the colour rank with lower numbers but status advanced, can get my head around this, please help would be appreciated.. I play on Xbox. I’m battle tier 8 and I purchased the “chocolate chip” gear color. But it says I have to reach tier 2.. wtf am I doing wrong ?
Same level as you, same spot, only dropping improved weapon parts.
maybe just different luck? Those become handy too because those are also coming in short supply for breaking down. You see in the video it's not gauranteed every time, as the last drone didn't drop them for me. I'm hoping the bottleneck of needed these parts is eventually addressed, but for now this has been working for me, and I tested it many times before I made this video to verify that it was repeatable.
Its random im 200 gear score and i get them one batch of 3 in 2 runs
