Sometimes the IWC doesn't understand that there doesn't always have to be a wrong answer. WWE chose the money, in the form of their contracts to their business partners. Mandy chose the money, in the form of the money she was making by going as far as she was on her page. No hard feelings either way.
Right, but she was only really making that money /because/ she was NXT champion. If she wasn't on TV, she wouldn't be pulling in the kind of money where she was making more than her contract. In one year, only the die hard fans will be subbed. So I bet she will be begging AEW for a contract. I have no doubts they would sign her, as Jim said, she would be a upgrade, but it will be interesting if they will allow her side business to continue if they do. So my prediction is that she will be signed to AEW in a year to year and a half.

Let's do some math. $30 a month x 250 neck beards = $7,500 a month x 12 months is $90,000. Literally only takes 250 neck beards to make about the same as her WWE pay so yeah she definitely made more than WWE paid. 2,500 - 3,000 subscribers and she made over a million dollars. Now think to yourself truthfully, is there at least 3,000 neck beards willing to spend $30 a month to see her body? Then add 33.3% to the money total since Cornette said she raised the price.

The problem is, they did talk to her and asked her to delete it and she said no. So I'm not sure why all the pity, it was her choice lol.
I mean she got the championship in NXT, and I guess that's what she wanted to hold a championship and leading a show, which tbh would have not been possible in main roster. And whatever she is doing, is pretty much the trend right now and fetches one a lot of money, by just sitting at home and no risk of injury or travel fatigue.
I was pretty surprised how prominent Mandy Rose was in NXT. Leading up to her release, she was having main event feuds with 5 other wrestlers.

And for now there isn't much of female wrestlers in NXT who had some name recognition. None I have heard of, and I guess rocks daughter is in NXT but it would be too soon for her to get the title.
@@eduardodubois4994 I'm guessing another wrestler is going transfer to NXT to fill that void. I haven't even seen the Rock's daughter, Ava Raine, wrestle yet. She's completely focused on building her character and mic skills, which I think is the correct decision for now.
There is def a strong chance that if she doesnt hit aew hard and remain relevant, she may be doing more and more risqué things on her personal website.
There are definitely popular e girl/model types who rode the wave early but found themselves doing more and more xrated stuff.

WWE did the right thing with this one, they had to listen to the investors. Mandy feels like she can make more money this way, and so be it. She even admit the content was going to get her in trouble and kept doing it anyway. This isn't the WWE of old, where the Divas are all fighting for Playboy, even if we miss it. It sounds like it was a mutual departure and Mandy could even come back, or go elsewhere after her 30 days of No compete. She at least did the right thing and put Roxanne over without making a big deal about it, and went out after an insanely long reign. I just wonder how this will affect Toxic Attraction, who deserves a call-up and I hope get it, they might be even better off without Mandy.

Even in the attitude era, posing in playboy is a bit off from selling your "self time"videos. Pin up photos are a different sector of things, which is also what Toni Storm and Zelina and others do.
All the other comparisons > Paige, Rollins, Woods, Charlotte, etc were leaks, not selling things.
As other directly making pornagraphic content goes, Lars Sullivan was fired, but probably not exclusively for it. Chyna was blacklisted. Mickie James was way before WWE and never a problem. Paige Van Zant over in AEW barely even registers on TV or they'd probably be getting flak from the WB. Shelly Martinez/Ariel was again before or after WWE. Even Shotzi has a few shots, but pre-WWE.
