I've lived in Palau for three and a half years from 2004-2008 as a journalist and had been to almost all the attractions there except one spot which is the jellyfish lake which I regret since because it's a must visit in Palau. I went to Peleliu many times, I have been to Angaur with top government officials including the vice president and met a sudden heavy rains and stranded in the middle of the sea and rode with the president piloting the speedboat to Kayangel, I went fishing with the Vice President and his wife at that time along with the ambassador of Taiwan, I covered seven Pacific Islands presidents with the president of Taiwan in the Rock Islands, I had the chance to sail with Sam Scott on his beautiful yatch in the Rock Islands, I stayed overnight in Ngemelis Bay, I travelled the around Compact road on a weekly basis and treated the Capitol as my own fishing ground for news stories and all the memorable moments that still vivid in my mind and the regrettable decision to leave as well as the desire to go back.

Palau is a perfect diving temperature most of the year. Probably;y best to go diving in dry season Oct/Nov - May.
