Hi Nick, love the 'Nasty' Young Ones T-shirt, that was always one of my favourite episodes ('Yes we've got a video!'). To be honest, I always thought Suggs' vocals were a bit samey. I didn't know that Chas left the band. When you think about it though, they have been around 50 years, that's quite an achievement! Very cool Jaws CD, I'd have been tempted by that. Btw, the soundtrack is the actual music, the score is the sheet music that the musicians read when they're playing it. Either that or it's the final tally after the final whistle goes!

A few people have mentioned the T-Shirt,it was a gift from my eldest son,I'll ask him him where he got it from. It'll be the top VC fashion accessory this year 👍👍👍 Suggs definitely needs some backup,age and cigarettes and heavy drinking probably isn't helping matters !!!
Hey Nick! Great t-shirt. I really like Madness, but I've only got their first album. Everytime I come across one of their albums out in the wild, the record is always scratched to buggery. They were clearly records which got a lot of play, owned by folks who had a laissez-faire attitude to record care. I hope, as a Madness fan, you don't fall into this category? Cheers - Hedley
Just imo but I think Madness need to get back to having some fun! Madness probably don't know much about lorry driving either. You've put me off holidaying in Bognor Regis now. No everyday you meet someone who does record pressing, interesting stuff, happy new year👍
Delivered another pallet of what I presume was blank vinyl records to that chaps place today and he gave me more records !!! I briefly watched a blank on the cutting platter being done etc... 👍👍👍 I would of thought Bognor Regis has had a lucky escape,what with your mankini 😁😁😁
I'm quite happy to get CD's for certain bands, it's still a physical format. It's downloads l don't bother with. I'm listening to all my old Trojan box sets at the moment, great stuff. Very interesting story about the record cutting place. A video of him explaining the process would be great to see. Nice free dub singles. I get what you say regarding Madness..like The Specials their formative years were choc full of vital music when the guys were young, I think that style of music requires a lot of energy and verve that's harder to sustain once you get to ' a certain age' .. Crazy Madness had never had a number 1. Funnily enough I started looking at the CD’s in HMV & there’s of those mini box sets Ska, Punk, Disco, You normally get about 4 Cd’s for about £20.00. Very tempting when money’s tight. I’m Definately cutting back on the spend next year.,which means more awful 12” singles for me. Thompson Twins here we come! Have a good new year Nick!
I used to find some cracking ska type compilations in my local Asda for no more than a fiver each. I'd buy them,take them home and copy them and then take them back claiming that they wearnt playing properly etc... and get a refund 👍😁👍 I'm trying to be a bit more selective with my vinyl buying this year.....its bloody hard though !!! I used to enjoy the Thompson Twins in those TinTin cartoons 👍👍👍
